Anthony smiled, he'd known that would be her answer. He had only known Alex for two weeks now, but he already knew he was in love with her. Within the first 24 hours of meeting each other they'd expressed their love for one another. Maybe it was the drugs that had made him so forward about it, but whatever it was he'd found himself saying it and by the time he'd realized it, he had already said it out loud. It was true though. He'd never thought it was possible to fall in love with someone in less than 24 hours, but it had happened. Most people would say that they weren't really in love and were just attracted to each other, but he knew, and knew it well, that it was in fact love. He'd been attracted to other people before, and he'd never once told them about his drug problem. It wasn't like it was his fault type of problem, but he was a guy, guys have pride, and any problem wasn't easy to admit.
Good thing, He said, if you ever left I'd probably end up getting myself killed out on the track. He put his arm around her shoulders, pulling her in closer to him. She couldn't be any more perfect for him. She was the only girl he'd met who was sorter than he was, she understood crazy horses, she loved racing, and she loved him. There was no denying it, she was the girl for him. He looked down at her with the smile still spread across his face. For a moment the smile faded and it looked like he was trying to remember something. After a few seconds, the smile returned, though slightly more impish than before. Have I ever told you you're beautiful? he asked, his question completely serious, because you are.
King ambled forwards until his chest was again pressed up against the door of the stall, and his head was hanging out over it as far as it would go. He could hear his two favorite humans talking right outside his stall, and he was wanting their attention. He'd been slightly more...friendly and lovable since the accident, possibly because he'd been missing Anthony so much that he'd take any attention he could get from almost anyone. A low and throaty nicker rumbled from his throat, begging for attention. Maybe this accident had been the turn around King had needed, maybe it would make him slightly more...normal. The accident, though had caused Anthony drug problems, had made him realize his love for Alex, maybe this would do something good for King too.

She smiled and giggled a bit. Once again it was funny but slightly true. With out each other they proabably would both go crazy in racing and it would be like suicide. She was obsessed and finally found someone just as obsessed as she was. They were so much alike it was like a perfect fit. Like peanut butter and Jelly or rather in her case Fruit and granola. She thought so anyway. She never felt so.... relaxed, at home, loved, consumed with someone or by someone. None of her other boy friends compared to him. He was all she wanted and more.
"Yeah you probably right" She said with a laugh refering to him dieing on the track. She melted into his grasp and leaned into him. It felt so nice being in his arms. Even though she had only known him 2 weeks she knew she was in love there was no doubt about it. She let out a sigh of relaxation. Who would have guessed she would meet someone and fall in love when she was just trying to get away from her parents. Not her thats for sure. but boy was she glad she had. His words hit her ears and she started to blush. But she didn't look away she looked straight into her eyes. Why would she need to be embarassed it not like it was a secret or like they had just met. She tilted her head slightly as if pondering a bit. "Nope i don't believe you have." She said with a smiled and her cheeks still red. "Thanks that was very sweet" She leaned over and kissed him on the cheek. It was funny whenever she was around him she felt like a little kid and giddy and shy at the same time. She felt butterflies in her stomach whenever he smiled at her. Yes indeed this was love.
She looked over her shoulder to see King Just begging for attention. "Hey Big boy. You seem so much better today." It was true and she bet it was because Anthony was there. She could tell the two had a strong bond. She had a better one now that she had been spending time around him but still not as strong as his and Anthony's but she didn't expect it to be. That kind of bond took a while to get. Like the one she and Loco had. Of course it wasn't as strong as she wanted it to be but she was the only one he would let near him. Speaking of as if he knew she was thinking about him he kicked the door. She rolled her eyes. He was the most demanding horse she had ever met.
Suddenly his banging and fit throwing reminded her of the day she and Anthony met. That was exactly what he had done to get her to take him out. But she wasn't going to this time nope no way. She was happy right there in Anthony's arms and didn't need to get up until she was good and ready. Which could be a while because she loved being right there. She had her horse Anthony's horse and Anthony that was the perfect settign right there. Who could ask for more.....

It was funny, he'd known a lot of people for many years, and never once felt so...comfortable...around them. Alex was just...he didn't even know how to describe it. She was a lot like him in many respects, maybe not quite as insane since she didn't seem like the type who would ride a racehorse while injured, but hey, if there's not one sane person in a relationship then they'd both end up dead. She completed him. Where he was lacking, she was not. In his opinion, she wasn't lacking anything though. He wouldn't change even so much as one thing about her. They say that love is blind, well, I maintain that love sees all but chooses to remain devoted anyway. She knew his faults, his problems, and she was still sitting right there beside him, her head on his shoulder. What more could he ask for?
The smile remained alighted on his face as he looked back into her own eyes, getting lost in their ocean blue like a dingy on the sea. He was in love with her, and there was nothing he could do about it. He was powerless against her. This was a good powerless though, not like the one the doctors had induced on him where he could do nothing at all. This was the sort of powerless that every man dreams one day to find, but very few ever do. The things love could do to a man. The best part was, he loved every aspect of it. There wasn't one thing about her that bothered him.
He broke eye contact with her as King's deep nicker caught his attention. He looked over at the blind white faced thoroughbred and laughed a little. What did you do to him? He asked, turning back to Alex, Don't think I've ever seen him like that before. He paused, that impish look returning to his smile, I'm guessing your charm rubbed off on him...unless it's drugs. He pushed himself back up off the tack trunk, keeping his weight on his uninjured leg. He hated being unable to even walk like a normal person, but there wasn't anything he could do about it. As much as he hated to admit it, and would never do so verbally, he needed the cast. If he hadn't been given one, he wouldn't be able to do anything. The break was almost complete, and he wouldn't have been able to move at all if he didn't have something stabilizing it.
He lifted his hand to King's head, letting his finger tips scratch against the cowlick in the center of the thoroughbred's forehead. King leaned into his hand, savoring the attention he was getting. This was a whole new side to him that Anthony had rarely ever seen before now. Maybe someday he could get this horse out on the track, maybe someday King could race again, maybe someday...but he was getting ahead of himself. They both had to recover, then start training again, then he would have to get him bomb proof to sounds...they still had a long ways to go. King would probably be too old before he was actually in condition to race again.

It was so nice being this relaxed with someone without the fear of if you were doing something wrong. It was just right. She wouldn't have it any other way. Nor was there anything about him she would change. Sure she would always worry when he tried to do stuff when his health wasn't a hundred percent. But she liked how daring he was. He was totally and utterly insane and that would most likely worry some girls to the point where they couldn't handle it anymore. But Alex was totally ok with it. So long as he was happy she was happy.
Love was funny one day you're totally with out it and the next fully encompassed in it. It was like she was being baptized in his love. Fully submersed. She hoped she could express her love for him just as well as he expressed it to her. But loving him was so easy. It came natural she didn't need to try. And she didn't have to try and earn his love it was free. He loved her for who she was and she him. As long as she was with him there would never be a dull moment. Especially with ther phsycotic horses. But they made it all the more fun. They would never be bored that was for sure.
If she hadn't met Anthony or King she would probably be moving back home. Her parents were despirate for her help even thought they were perfectly capable of taking her directions they insisted that she did it better. There fore being fully annoyed with their constant calls asking stupid questions she would have given up and went home. But Anthony gave her reason. She loved him and he her. She was so happy they met and couldn't even imagine life without him. It would be so.... Blah. Well maybe not blah just because of Loco but still wouldn't be what it was now.
She followed his gaze to the big thoroughbred. He was so pretty with his white face and his innocent eyes that really were innocent. She felt bad for the poor thing. Not being able to see anything having to trust someone to be them for you. But out of anyone King could have chosen he chose the best person. Anthony was so patient and good with him. They blended together so well. She turned back to Anthony when he spoke. "Beats me. I guess he just needed a womans touch." She blushed a little again and turned back to look at King again. "Well i know its not drugs he has been good and clean for a few days now." She said with a laugh. The gorgeous stead had changed a lot since the accident. But in a good way. She smiled to herself maybe thats what she needed to happen with Loco.
She turned back just in time to see him get up. She bit her bottom lip. She couldn't help her worry she didn't like to see the one she loved in so much pain. She knew it frustrated him having that bulky cast on his leg. But he needed the support or his leg would never heal. She stood up and stod next to him she admired Kings perfect comfirmation. It was really a shame he went blind. But there was still hope he could still have a chance. She spaced out for a moment just watching the two reconect after being separated for so long.
She let out a small sigh. She pondered whether or not she should tell him about her riding Loco that day. She didn't think he would tell her that she couldn't and even if he did he was in a cast and could walk way faster then he could. So he wouldn't be able to stop her. But she didn't want to just leave and him have to guess. She didn't think he would worry but it was possible that he would. "I'm going to try and ride Loco today." She said with a slight smile just a little nervous to his reaction. Surely he of all people would understand. She just didn't want him to have to worry like she had when he had gotten hurt. it was a good thing she hadn't told him how the last "ride" went. Or he would totally object. But he hadn't been there nor had she told him about the events that happened.

She was right. He hated the cast, but he knew he had to have it, and was doing his best to deal with it. Looking on the bright side though, at least the break had been low on his leg so the cast didn't go all the way up to his knee...that, he wouldn't have been able to deal with. Three months was going to be a long time to him, and not being able to ride for that time would be torture. He couldn't get the cast off until three months was up though, so he was going to have to find some way to keep his mind off riding King. In his opinion, there was only one thing in the whole world that he would be able to keep his focus on besides riding, and that one thing was standing right there beside him.
As Alex stood up next to him, he put his arm around her lightly, still keeping his weight shifted to his uninjured leg. That was when a thought struck him. Since he couldn't use his broken leg at all, it would be severely weakened by the time he was finally able to get the cast off, which would make it exceedingly difficult to ride. He would probably have to figure out some sort of physical therapy and do that for a while before riding on the track. Of course, there was no way in the whole world that he would actually go to a physical therapist, they were about on the same level as doctors, but he could certainly figure out something himself. Sure it'd be painful, and undeniably difficult, but he would work through it...if it meant riding King on the track again, he would work through it.
Anthony's attention and thoughts returned to Alex as he heard her reply to his comment on King's new behavior. For some reason, he had a feeling that he hadn't given her much grief while he'd been away. She seemed to have a way with the crazy ones, and King was no exception. He was just glad she understood the horse. If she didn't, the two of them probably wouldn't get along quite so well as they did. King had been Anthony's life for a long time now, and if she didn't understand him, there would undoubtedly be tension between the two of him. Since she understood though, his life was now split in two, King on one side and Alex on the other...and they were fused together so he didn't have to choose one or the other, he could have both.
Something in what she said next made him a little worried about it. She was going to try and ride Loco today. The word try there seemed to imply that she had done it before and it hadn't worked out. He may not have been speaking English his whole life, and he might still have a Spanish accent, but he wasn't dumb. He knew what she was saying. He didn't let on to his worry though, he just kept his cool, and had no outward change. Something tells me you've done that before.he said somewhat absently, but casually as he looked back at her. He wasn't going to try to stop her from riding, he didn't have any authority over what she did.
If he tried to ride King before he got that cast off, she would undoubtedly stop him, and he would want her to, but this was different. She wasn't injured, and neither was her horse...who was throwing a fit down the hall. That seemed familiar. A brief wave of pain washed over him, and he winced, but blew it off...he'd felt worse pain than that one before. Just don't get yourself hurt. He said after a moment or two of silence, We don't need both of us getting hospitalized in the same month. The last thing they needed was more extreme drama, and he hoped they could avoid it.
He was taken slightly by surprise when the whiskers of the thoroughbred brushed against his face, and Ling stretched out his head and rested his muzzle on Anthony's shoulder, his nose pressed into his neck. He had thought that Anthony had left him. In the confusion after the accident, he had thought that he would never see Anthony again. He was so happy to have him back now that he simply couldn't get enough of him. Anthony was the only person who he had actually trusted after he'd gone blind, until Alex that is, but for him, not having Anthony around was torturous and worrisome for him. Now that he was back, everything was just perfect again.

Alex leaned into him as he wrapped his arm around her waist. It was funny if any other guy she had a relationship tried that she would have smacked them. She wasn't exactly the lovey dovey type person. But with Anthony things just flowed and felt so right. So that when he wrapped his arms around her she felt perfectly at home. She practically melted every time he touched her. It was like her little taste of heaven here on earth. She felt so incredibly lucky, not every girl got such a good guy like Anthony. He was one in a million that was for sure.
She smiled at the white faced thoroughbred that stood before them. He was a big baby. But she loved him. He had character. Which was one of the things she loved about Loco. But sometimes he had a bit too much Character. It wa amazing the bond between Anthony and King. They melded together perfectly. Broken Horse broken man. It was like a fairytale. Which was one of the reasons it was so unbelievable but still very true. King had changed so much since the accident and she actually felt like he trusted her. To an extent. She reached out to stroke his white face. He was such a gorgeous horse. They were one big happy family.
She cringed slightly as he asked her....Well sort of asked her if she had done that before. "Yeah it wasn't a pretty site thats for sure." She wasn't going to lie and the way she put it was extremely light compard to what happened. That day was pretty much a nightmare. He was a devil of course she knew that when she got on so she should have been smart enough not too but she was a little full of herself back then. But now she knew when was the right time and she ahad learned most of Loco's tricks by now. She hoped it would be better then last time.
She laughed and leaned her head on his shoulder. She wasn't going to get hurt. That wuld just be one more thing and besides who would take care of Anthony. If she got injured things would be dissastrerous. "Don't worry i'll be ok." She smiled still keeping her head on his shoulder and looking at King. He was so much calmer then Loco.. Well at least at the moment. Loco seemed to love throwing tempertantrums while she was with Anthony. But she didn't care he could throw his fits she wasn't going to give in to what he wanted. She was the human he was the beast... Literally.
She was a little nervous about getting on the black monster again. But tried to hide it. She wasn't scared of him she just didn't want to mess up. She knew she could handle him easily but she didn't want to make any mistakes and screw up the whole thing. But so long as Anthony was there she knew she'd be plenty confident. "You wanna watch?" She wasn't going to beg him to come watch. If he wanted to stay with King and relax she would be just fine with that. And knew it might be the better choice for him to relax. But she didn't figure he would if she left him alone in the barn with his horse. It was be a disaster waiting to happen.
She giggled when King rested his head on Anthony's other shoulder. That horse was definately happy to have his human home. "I'm pretty sure he is sick of me. He missed you." The big horse hadn't been this kiddy since she met him. It was quite the site actually. A guy with a broken leg with a girl on one side and a horse on the other. The perfect team. The perfect couple. Perfect picture moment.....
OOC; Not the greatest i'f come up with but it will do.

A slight sigh escaped Anthony as Alex practically melted into him. She felt so...right. There had only been one other person, out of the many he hated to admit he'd claimed as his "significant other," who had seemed to just fit there beside him, and she was dead now. Alex was all he had. The racing world had forgotten him, his family all lived in Mexico and had probably practically forgotten him, and Alex was really the only person he knew up in the States now. As he had admitted to her in the hospital, he wouldn't ask for anyone more, and he wouldn't want it to be any other way. She was the dream for him that he hadn't thought possible to come true, but here she was, here he was, and they were in love.
He lifted his other hand to King's head and ran his fingers through the horse's chestnut forelock as if to reassure him that he wouldn't be going anywhere ever again. At least, he didn't plan on it. If he ever got into another accident where a doctor's help was unavoidable, like in this one where his leg probably would have about fallen of had he not been given medical attention, he intended to just get the cast or whatever he needed and get out. There was no way he was staying in a hospital for two weeks again, and he was going to make sure that they couldn't legally make him stay.
I'm sure it couldn't have been that ugly, He said, his tone completely serious, and a smile crossing his face, not with you there anyway. He didn't care what the rest of the world thought, in his opinion, she was the most beautiful girl in the whole world. He probably wouldn't ever admit it to anyone but Alex but the first thought that had crossed his mind when she came up to him and King was that she was extremely good looking. Not surprisingly, since then, she'd only grown more and more beautiful in his mind.
Anthony's expression grew more serious as she asked if he would like to come watch her try to ride Loco, though that hint of a smile that he almost always had was still very much there. He couldn't help but smile and have high spirits when he was around her. There was just something about her that made him feel like there wasn't anything in the whole world that could possibly touch him, like there was nothing in this world that could tear the two of them apart, and to him, there was no feeling that could match it. Not winning all the races in the world could ever compare. Races, they were only a moment in time, the world would forget you shortly after your retirement, but this....this love...this was never ending.
Of course I'll come. He said, looking down at her. I've been lying around in a hospital bed for two weeks, there's no way I'm going to just sit around here too. The inability to move for those two weeks had driven him crazy. He had gone from extremely active to immobile. That was torture. He was a rather intense athlete, considering that he had to be in top condition at all times in order to ride and control thoroughbreds. For him, not being able to move had been more...stressful and irritating than getting boxed in or out during a race...and for him, that was saying a lot. It was a good thing he had Alex. If he didn't he would have just given up or else gone completely crazy and killed someone.

It was so comforting being in Anthony's arms. She felt safe and secure. Invinsible. Unreachable. Like the world couldn't get her when she was with him. Whenever she was with him she felt so safe from the evils of the world. She wasn't sure if it was possible but she thought she had fallen even more in love with him since they met. That love thing it was strict.. But she had completely fallen into it with him. She was Love Struck. Twitterpaited. Head over heals. Completely over come in a magical movie like Love. The one that was in fairytales. Was it fate? Or just her luck? She didn't know but she was glad it had happened. She hadn't been this happy since....She couldn't remember.
She stood there in his arms infront of his horses stall. Talk about your Kodak moment. Black and white photo. Proving to the world that true love was possible. It was possble to fall in love in one day. And within two weeks never want to leave their side. Her heart skipped a beat whenever she saw him. Excitment washed over her and she could barely hold herself back from running and jumping into his arms. Of course she wouldn't dare do that now because of his injuries. But it was the thought that counted right? Besides if you were in love you didn't need to prove it. It was just that. Love.
She smiled as he, tried to suttley, compliment her. It was cute. She looked at King and spoke. "It was very actually. But thanks that was very sweet." She turned and looked up at him. Smiling as she always did because whenever she was around him she just couldn't stop smiling. She bet she looked like a dork but she didn't care. She knew that there was a million other better girls in the world and felt more than special that he chose her. He was so perfect in her mind. She loved how he wasn't like all the other rich snobby guys she'd dated that were into racing. He was smart, strong, handsome what more could a girl ask for. Sure he was a little bit hard headed but heck so was she. And to think if they weren't they'd probabaly both be dead.
He answered her and looked down. She blushed slightly and looked into his mesmerizing brown pools. A pleasant sigh was released from her. It was so comforting having him around. Knowing how supportive he was, was nice. Her parents never liked the idea of her moving and trying to retrain a lunatic horse. But her and Anthony were in the same boat. All they had was each other but that was all they needed. She knew he probably should sit around and relax but there was no point in arguing with him. He was as stuborn as a mule. Plus she kind of wanted him there just incase. She chuckled a bit. "Ok, I thought you would say that." For some reason whenever she was with him she was always at a loss for words. He made her speecheless. Not nessicarily a bad thing. But Her chest got all tight and nothing seemed to be good enough to say. But she did her best. She turned back to King and rested her head on his chest holding him with both arms now. Not squizzing to tight for she knew he still had the bandage around his stomach. If she could she would have stayed there for ever.

Anthony put both of his arms around her, not saying a word. What words were there in any language of this earth that could fit this moment? Quite simply put, there are none. There with her arms around hi, he forgot about the pain, the cast, the discomfort, all of it. Her slim body fit perfectly in the circumference of his arms, one more way she was perfect for him. He sighed slightly in content, there was nothing more here he could ask for. He had the perfect girl in his arms, a wonderful, though slightly crazy, horse with his head on his shoulder, and really nothing at all in the whole world to worry about.
He was back on that trail out in Montana, just after getting Doubt's trainer fired. There was a girl on a horse beside him, Tristanne, and he had just told her that he had deeper feelings for her than just friends. They rode together down to the lake at the base of the falls, and tied their mounts there. For a little while they just sat on the beach enjoying the presence of the other. The moon was bright, and the starts twinkled spectacularly, not a cloud was in sight. It was the perfect night, he couldn't have wanted it to be any better. That was when the inevitable had happened. Lost in love and passion, the two found themselves close, ever so close. She leaned in towards him, and he towards her, and the two shared in their first kiss. He hadn't thought it possible, but that moment made the night a million times better than it had been before, he would never forget it.
The memory faded and there replacing Tristanne was Alex. Funny thing was, he had found himself even more in love with her than he had been with Tristanne. Back then, he never would have imagined that he could fall in love with someone more than he had been in love with Tristanne, but here she was...it had happened. After a minute or two, he lifted his hand gently to her chin and tilted her face up towards his. He felt like he was moving in slow motion while the rest of the world around him was moving at a million miles an hour as he looked into her blue eyes.
He could feel his heart rate increase, that sensation in his stomach, his heart screaming yes, and his mind following his heart closely behind. She was his angel, his savior. She was there, right there, so close to him. Her delicate frame pressed up against his broken body. It had only been two weeks, but those two weeks felt like a lifetime...a life time in which he had always known her, understood her, been there for her, loved her. He found himself leaning in towards her, completely absorbed in the love he had for her. He was fallen helplessly in love with her, and he was powerless before her beautiful blue eyes. The best part was, he didn't even care. This was the one time he would ever be okay with being helpless, powerless, and completely submitted to someone else...She tended to do that to him.

Alex let out a sigh of relief as he wrapped his arms around her. It was so comforting to be there as he held her and she held him. No words could explain how she felt at the moment. She felt like he was the calm to her storm. He lifted her up higher then anyone else could. She had been in several relationships but none of them ever held real love behind them. And in the end she would either leave them heart broken or she would get left. But she was strong and never broken down. It just proved to her that it wasn't meant to be. But with Anthony it was so different. They were passionately and totally in love and nothing could come between them.
She loved how perfectly they fit together. She was no longer missing that one piece to the puzzle. She wanted to take a picture just to remember this moment always but she knew she ould even if she didn't take a picture. It was just one of those most wonderful moments. She was so in love. Its like that saying Love is blind. But i think its more like Love is seeing. Sure if its immature love then it can be Blinding but there was no way she was blind. She could see just fine and they only thing she wanted to see was him. Was she blessed or what?
Her eyes closed as she took in his smell and kept her head rested on his chest. She knew she should go get Loco ready but she didn't want to let him go nor did she want him to let her go. But then she felt his hand under her chin. She opened her eyes and looked into his as he tilted her head back to look at him. Standing there looking into his eyes all time stopped. Like they were the only 2 beings in the whole world that mattered. Was there such thing as perfect love? Because it sure felt like it. She went weak at the knees but tried to hold herself up knowing he was laready having a hard time holding himself up on his broken leg.
She couldn't help but wonder how he felt. Was he feeling or going through the same things she was? Or was it just her? She couldn't stop thinking about him even when they were appart. It was funny really they had only known each other for 2 weeks and haven't even gone on a date yet you could tell they were both fully in love. She didn't care about what was to come she was fully engulfed in the moment just looking into his deep brown eyes. They were mesmerizing almost like they were hypnotizing her. He leaned toward her more and her hear began to pound in her chest. She couldn't believe he didn't hear it but she could barely hear anything else. it was getting harder to breathe and all she could do was stand there fully helpless to his will. She leaned a little closer and eyes looked into his. For once she wasn't smiling but you could tell she was happy. But she was totally lost in the moment.

When Anthony had fallen in love with Tristanne it had taken him five years to utter the words I love you. With Alex, it hadn't even taken 24 hours. Everything was happening so fast. Most men would have hesitated, thinking that perhaps they were being manipulated by her looks or his emotions, but not Anthony. Yes, he thought she was the most beautiful person in the whole world, but he knew that it was true love that was attracting him to her. He'd seen a lot of good looking women in his life, and not a single one of them even slightly compared to Alex. She was the picture of perfection, and he would never deny how he felt for her or that he had fallen completely in love with her.
As Alex leaned in towards him as well, his heart practically shoved him into her arms...not literally. He couldn't help it, she was right there, everything about her was right...there was no stopping it now. Before he even knew what was happening, or what he was doing, the small distance between them was closed, and his lips pressed gently against hers. The world stopped, and he stood frozen in time. There was nothing that could possibly bother him at this point in time, his life was perfect. He didn't care if other people thought it was risky to kiss so soon in a relationship, he found nothing wrong with it. If she wasn't ready though...and he scared her off, he would kill himself. Sometimes you just have to take those risks though.
After a moment that seemed like years, he pulled slowly away, words forming quietly on his lips for only her to hear. I love you Alex, He said in a whisper, I will never stop loving you. Many people would put the words until the day I die on the end of that phrase, but he knew that it would go on much longer than that. Even after death, his heart would remain hers, even if it was stilled and cold. It would always be hers, no matter what. There would never be anyone who could come between him and Alex, and if they tried, he would kill them before they could steal her away. She meant that much to him. He couldn't live without her...he wouldn't live without her. There was nothing that could change that.

Alex practaclly calapsed when he kissed her. As they would say in the movies there was definatly fireworks. His kiss was gentle and angelic. She of course kissed him back but could barely stand up she had to press herself against him and the stall just to stay up. But she would have kissed him forever despite it all. The kiss seemed to last centuries but all at the same time didn't last long enough. Her eyes had closed while kissing him and when he started to pull away they slowely started to open.
She looked into his eyes as he whispered to her and her only. "I love you Alex"[/b] Her heart melted and she couldn't breathe. "I will never stop loving you" He continued. Gawd was he trying to kill her. Not in a bad way but an extremely good way. She smiled and sighed in content. "I love you too" She would of finished off the way he did but she firgured he already knew that. And she wasn't sure she could get the words out.
He always managed to leave her speechless. It was funny really. Her stomach grew tight and her mouth got all dry. She leaned closer to him again and kissed him again. She couldn't help herself. She was in love and it felt all so right to be in his arms, to be holding him, to be kissing him. She wouldn't have it any other way. She slowely pulled back after a moment and looked into his eyes. She was in deep now. She knew if something ever happened to him she would never be able to rebound from it. It would crush beyond imagine. But she knew nothing could ever come between them. Ever. "Don't ever leave me" She whispered as she rested her head on his chest again.
ooc; Sorry its so short

Anthony felt the strength seem to melt right out of her as she returned the kiss. His hand drifted up to her face, and he ran his fingers through her hair, hardly even knowing any of what he was doing. His other arm, which he was still wearing the brace on, remained around her waste, holding her close to him. His mind was was completely blank, not a single thought except how much he loved her, entering his mind. She was right, he did know that he knew that she would love him forever. How could it be any other way? He was so obsessed with her. It was the first time in his life that anything had ever completely overshadowed racing.
As she kissed him again, he didn't resist at all. She made the world seem...better...perfect. Back in the hospital, he had been so drugged up that it had taken all the strength he had just to grip her hand in his, and it had about driven him mad that he hadn't been able to return such small expressions of love as a hug. Cursed hospitals, they'd never done anything decent for him. If they helped a little in one way, they made things worse in another way. Now though, he was free of the confines of hospitals and drugs, and he was free to express his love how he had been longing to since they had informed each other of their feelings.
As she laid her head against his chest again, he held her close to him, not wanting to let go, afraid that if he did she would disappear and he would find it all to have been a dream. That would have killed him. If this was a dream, he would never love anyone when he awoke, how could he after having believed that he'd found the perfect person? Don't ever leave me Her words pierced through his thoughts, and he smiled, brushing a loose strand of hair from her eyes. I wouldn't dream of it. He said, letting his uninjured arm drop down to her hand and close it in his.
He glanced up as he heard her horse's fidgeting down the hall a little ways. As much as he hated to let her go, he knew that they couldn't forsake their responsibilities. I think someone needs your attention. He said reluctantly. As much as he was in love, they were adults and had to keep the important things in front of them. One of the disappointments in life and becoming an adult was that sometimes you had to do what you had to do...even when you would have liked to stay wrapped in the arms of the one you love for forever.

Ah Love. That sensational feeling you get whenever someone enters the room. Or that gorgeous smile. Alex was completely consumed in his love. She loved him more then she could love anything else. All her life he passion had been racing and the guys she was with mainly got in the way of that. But not with Anthony. He was supportive. If anything he drove her on. She wanted the taste of being a jockey again. SHe wanted to fly over the ground and feel the wind as they crossed the finish line. She could picture her and Loco moving over the dirt track. But that dream had been there for a while. And now it was changed. Instead of her being the only person and being at an actual track. She pictured herself atop Loco beside Anthony atop King. They were racing at the hidden track out on the trail Sure it was a crazy idea and probably far off, like really really far off, but a girl could dream coudn't she.
Now being in Anthony's arms life was so different. She was glad he was out of the Hospital. Even though she thought he needed a little more attention from the doctors she knew that would never ever happen so long as he had anything to do with it. But she appreciated having him around. It was nice to be with their horses and each other at the same time. She hoped he would take it slow though and let his leg heal properly so when he did start riding again it would have its full strength. She would do whatever she had to to help him regain it though. Even if it meant taking time off to go to the gym with him. Anything she could do to be with him.
He said "he wouldn't dream of it" in response to her. Was it possible for them to love each other that much? Of course it was or they wouldn't. For the longest time she used to think she would her life as a single race rat. But then out of no where there was Anthony. And everything changed. But it was a good change. He held that same passion she did and out of anyone in the whole world he understood her the best. He just got her. It was like they had known each other their whole lives when in reality it had only been a couple of weeks. Love funny that way. It had so many surprises hidden up its sleeze. Good Surprises.
Then as if pulling her out of the perfect dream she heard Loco pound on the door again. She flinched slightly mad at herself for forgetting him. But also because she didn't want to wake up from this place. But it was time to move on to the next one. Even Anthony knew it was time to continue on. She nodded closing her eyes as she did so as if storing this moment to continue it later. "Yeah i think your right." She said softly as she opened her eyes and looked over toward Loco. His head hung out the door and he snorted and stamped his foot against it.
She turned back to Anthony and hugged him one last time. She took a deep breath and let him go. By now she had regained her strength and was ready to climb this next big mountain. While Anthony was in the Hospital she had made a ton of progress with the horse. It seems with out another guy to compete for her attention with, except King, he was making a ton of improvements. So she decided today was a good day to try riding him again. She was going to take him to the track she decided. How bad could it be... Ok so it could go really bad but she was ready to take that chance. Besides Loco being a race horse it would be simple to keep him focused on going down the track instead of trapping him in the round pins like she previously thought of doing.
"I want to take him to the track." She wasn't sure if she'd get on him at all of course even if things went poorly on the way there she still would but that was just the nutt that she was. She wanted him to get a good look at the place she would now be taking him to every morning. it was a big leap but she was ready... Or at least she thought she was. She wasn't sure what Anthony would say but even if he protested she was still going to go. It wasn't the smartest idea but she thought it would work. And She wasn't scared of Loco like a lot of other people were. She knew how dangerous he could be but she didn't care you just had to learn how to avoid his thrashing hooves and to move with him. He was really a good horse he just never was given the chance to prove it.

Anthony knew he was right. Horses didn't understand things like humans could, and wouldn't wait for the two of them to break out of their trance of love. Horses would be horses, and you couldn't ever change that. Especially in horses like Loco. Then again, he hadn't' thought it possible to change King either, but it had obviously happened. Before the accident King had been a beast of a horse who seemed angry at the whole world for his blindness. Now though, he seemed perfectly content with life and not being able to see a thing.
Anthony glanced towards King, watching the big horse for a moment or two as he stood silently watching Alex and Anthony. He looked more intently though, when he thought he saw the horse's eyes shift from him to Alex. Was it possible that King could maybe see a little? Could it be that his blindness was lifting? He shook the thought from his head. That wasn't possible. Horses didn't go from being completely blind one day to being able to see the next, or was it? After all, they never had discovered why the thoroughbred had gone blind in the first place.
His thoughts were jerked back to Alex as he heard her say she wanted to take Loco to the track. Those words seemed to make his heart stop in a moment of fear. Why? He couldn't say. He trusted Alex's judgment, so why did those words send fear into his heart? Could it be after so many accidents he would have anxiety about going out there again? Oh God no, please no. If he couldn't go out there without fear, he would die. Racing was his life. There was no way he could ever confine himself to a desk job or something besides racing. He just couldn't do it.
He shoved the fear into the back of his mind, and focused on Alex. She would always be there for him, and he didn't doubt that if he started having second thoughts about racing that she would be the one to force him back out there again. She seemed to understand his love for racing, and she probably knew that he wouldn't survive without it. Are you sure? He asked her, not able to help but worry. He'd taken a horse that was used to the track, that ran on it every day, and that was perfectly ridable out there, and look where he'd ended up. He could only imagine what could happen to her if she rode Loco on the track.
