'Lets waste time chasing cars
Hello, my name is Rebecca. I have hugged 20 horses. I would like to board my horse here please, here at Pinewood Stables.
My horses registered name is Starstruck Angel.
I just call her Star.
Here is Star's information.
* Breed of horse: Quarter Horse
* Age of horse: 6 years
* Height of horse: 15 hh
* Gender of horse: Mare
* Markings/coloring: Light bay with a white star and snip.
* Discipline: Barrels, Pleasure
& Personality (at least one good paragraph):
oddball much?
Star is a very strange horse. She is not exactly on the same page as other horses. She prefers to do things her own way, and is very stubborn. When in the pasture, she prefers running around, playing "tag" with other horses and animals and rarely caught grazing lazily like the others. She runs after items like leaves and garbage bags instead of running away. If you try to put tack on her, she looks at you, then steals whatever is in your hand and runs away, not letting go of it. If a bird or small animal is in her stall, she plays with it like a toy. Her mannerisms are a question without an answer. She has figured out ways to unlock stalls, and is often found sticking her head inside the house windows, shed doors, garage or feed bins.
She enjoys toying with humans, making their job that much more difficult, yet slightly amusing. She also tried her hardest to get them off of her! If an inexperienced or noticeably frightened rider hops aboard, its adios! See you next time! However, her walls do break down for a select few, Becky being one. If a kind, experienced rider approaches, she relaxes a bit, but as with all horses, trust and time are needed.
After her five years at the old stable, an anger and meanness had developed inside Star. Instead of toying with humans just for the fun of it, she now had a vengeance on her mind. She wanted them to feel her pain, in the only way a horse knows how: by making their job difficult and painful. She became increasingly stubborn, vicious and anti-social. She secluded herself to the far ends of the fields, away from the other horses but also away from the humans. She kicked, bit, snapped and thrust her weight among many humans, making her a terror in the barn. Her ears were always against her head, and her hooves were in constant motion. She was agitated and scared. But all that soon changed.
Star's personality has changed a lot in the one year that Becky has had her. She used to be mean, angry AND stubborn. Now, she is just stubborn, but maybe a tad kinder and softer. Old habits do die hard, but killing them was made easier with trained handlers along with Becca at her side. Her heart has begun to mend, and her grudge against humanity along with it.
My horse would make a fine boarder in Pinewood Stables,
