They always say I look like
A beautiful modelesque young woman, Beth never plays it up however. Despite her hair liking to frizz and go crazy, she sometimes goes days or weeks without doing anything but run a brush through it in the morning. She is never seen without her usual pair of jeans or jean shorts, and some form of a t-shirt or hoodie in the colder months, even if it's hidden under a coat or blazer.
She rarely wears makeup, except for a bit of eyeliner and mascara if she's going out. She's never seen as a slob, mainly because she always finds clothes that fit. Simply because of her height and model type stature, many guys are attracted to her, but she hasn't been on a date since she was 16. However, she does show her fun side, and when she's not out at the barn in jeans or breeches and boots, sometimes she'll appear at the bar with her friends wearing some crazy outfit, whether it be her dressing up like a business woman, a clown, or some other character.
As for the clothes themselves, the jeans are always either bootcut or the occasional skinny. The shoes are boots, cowboy boots, or a pair of converse she found when visiting New York three years ago. Her style doesn't change much, but while it's not sloppy, it's not stunning either. Tanks, tees, hoodies, and jackets, she keeps it simple, just like she'd like to be.
This Is What Makes Me Stand Out Her natural skinniness, her smile, and simplicity, and her occasional desire for a theatrical outfit.

I Adore Vegetables. Animals. Thoroughbreds. Jumping. Being with friends.
I Abhor Men who are Jerks. Meat. Gossip. Abuse.
I Rock Training almost any asshole of a horse that comes in.
I Suck Learning to trust. Learning how to shut up.
I Do When nervous she talks a lot, and ends up getting quite loud. Will often play simple practical jokes on people.
I Want To work full-time in equine rescue and rehab. To learn how to love again.
I Fear Being alone with any man. Being rejected. Losing a loved one. Having another horse colic on her.
I Shut up Something that happened to her at age 16.
I am Crazy fun once she trusts you. With men it's harder. Not that one can necessarily blame her. She has a special way with animals that some people are surprised at, mainly because she can understand them. But it's not easy. She's worked hard for what she has, and will kick anyone's ass who gets in her way.
She will often freak out in situations where others will be fine, but she generally is able to laugh about it afterwards. She is seen as the joker, the one who is always smiling. However, inside, she is terrified at most situations that involve people, so, when she goes out, she puts on a mask, sometimes even literally, so that nobody can touch her or see what's really going on inside.
Overall, she's a sweet, caring girl who loves to laugh and enjoy life as much as she can. She has her horrible past... who doesn't? But she doesn't let that slow her down. She continues to pave the way and present herself as a professional who knows how to act and deal with both people and animals. She's a happy-go-lucky simple country gal, with a texan accent and attitude to match.

This Is Who I was
Everything started out great. She was born to a father and mother who loved her. Two months after she turned 15, however, everything started to go haywire. First, her mother was diagnosed with the advanced stages of breast cancer, and passed three months later, primarily due to the extreme radiation and chemotherapy. From that point, everything spiraled out of control. Beth began to hang out with the wrong crowds, and quickly got involved in drugs and alcohol, and lost her virginity to some guy or another. After a year of this, her father, tired of all, invited some friends of his over to enjoy a night of relaxation. Little did he know, that as he traveled over an hour to bring a pizza back for the crew, his daughter was in the hands of his friends, being brutally gang raped.
She has never learned to overcome her fear of men since then. She refused to be alone with any man, including her father, though she never told him what had occured. During her daily wanderings through the small country city where they lived several months later, she ran across an elderly woman who had just taken in three high strung and problem ridden former racehorse thoroughbreds. After three days of simple sitting in the field, she had two of them eating out of her hand. The woman had seen that, and told her that, if she could, would she help her train the horses?
Beth jumped at the opportunity. She herself may be falling apart inside, but at least she could help another fallen creature get back up. Two years later, at the age of 18, Beth went to a community college and got her degree and license as a Veterinary Technician, graduating at the age of 22.
During that time, she has been retraining many Thoroughbreds and rehoming them along the way in order to pay her rent and their board, but has never found herself able to forget what had happened to her. Due to the surplus in people willing to have English trained horses instead of Western nags (as she views them), she moved up to West Virginia, found a tiny studio apartment, and has continued training, working part-time at a Vet's office to help pay for her second job, training OTTBs.
This Is Who I am She wants to forget the past, but is unable to do so. She has never gone on a date since the incident with her father's "friends". However, maybe now will be the time she learns to trust again.

I Am Awesome
Ginni sighed heavily. It wasn't fair. Was it? I mean, how could they do this to her? Her parents. They were infuriating. Ten months ago they were loving and kind, so understanding. And now, just because of a bit of wailing and crying, she had to give up her beautiful baby girl? It was more than she could stand. One day it was all happy go lucky and we love you sweetie, you're making the right decision., and the next it's SHUT THAT F***ING BABY UP OR GIVE IT AWAY!.
I guess it was her own fault. I mean, she was 15 when she went and slept with the guy the first time, totally safe of course. 17 when they decided to go without... just once. Just to see what it was like. And where did that end her? Pregnant. Great. Just great. Well, her parents were supportive, and said she could keep the baby and still live with them. Nine months, swollen ankles, and ten long hours of labor, and she had the baby. And now, they wanted her to give it away, and were far from supportive.
Actually, far further from supportive than one may realize. They kicked her out. She's sitting at the bus station, a screaming two month old baby, two suitcases, one filled with diapers and baby necessities, and a small backpack with the last special items she owned, waiting for the bus that would take her... somewhere. Anywhere.
Thanks Isa for helping =]
