The sweeping plateaus of Nevada form the picturesque view of Painted Sky Stables, an equine boarding school where boys and girls from all around the world join together to form the most prestigious riding school yet. As the long winters and ever so hot summers roll by, six years pass by and the Grenfelds find that life isn't as easy as a stroll through the park. Cancer is bestilled on young Taylor Grenfeld's mother, leaving just her and her loving father. Such a shocking experience makes a lot happen. All of their boarders are leaving, her father gives up on his life, and Taylor finds herself torn between saving the stable or her father. Before Taylor can react to anything, her father is escorted to his grave. Through the good times and bad, all she wants and needs is hope....
