For almost a hundred years, students have been attending Parsons Academy to get a better education than in a public school. More recently, the New Jersey school has added dorms to accommodate students from out of town and from other states. People have always raved about their academic excellence, stating that the students always know what they need and that they are better behaved than public school students. The kids that go to college from there (which is more than 97%), always achieve above average in their classes and on their tests. After that, majority of them become some of the most successful doctors and lawyers. Even a few have become president of the United States! If all of this is true though, then why have some parents become hesitant about sending their kids here and some pulling them out of the school?
Two months ago, the body of a girl was found in a janitor's closet in the school. It's throat had been slit, and it's clothing was ripped nearly to shreds. Since that time, three more bodies have been found, another girl and two boys. The police have been working hard trying to find the criminal, but they haven't found any clues that would help them. Even some students have been trying to figure things out. That obviously didn't work. There has been a strict curfew put into effect, stating students must be back in their dorms or houses before dark. Of course, that just means more of the parties and such are happening on school property. More drugs are being passed on school property, more alcohol is being consumed on school property. Lovely for the reputation, right? Well, it hasn't done anything yet, because none of the school faculty has been notified of it.
The murderer is still on the prowl though, and the students are still staying indoors. Security cameras places on campus have caught nothing, and it worries them greatly. Who will be next? Some students take this as a sign to be very careful while others don't care. Many feel those kids will be next. All we can do is wait and find out.
