Back in 1947 a wealthy lady named Ida Sandalwood lived with her husband on their own island, Sandalwood Island. They ran a very successful private boarding school, only the most elite children could attend. They were some of the best young riders in the country. The school horses were worth their weight in gold, the facility was world class and the dorms were like palaces. Their parents paid well for them to go to such a prestigous school but one day everything changed...
The Academy has just been passed to its newest head master Sebastian Kings, at 23 years of age Sebastian is the youngest head master to date. Sebastian had some views that differed him from Sandalwood principals of the past. He decided to intergrate his first school, a school for troubled teens and Sandalwood, his newest project. Parents were furious and many pulled their sons and daughters from the school for good. Some stayed, some went and many, many different kids arrived. very different kids, abused, abusing, addicted. Now rebellious and scarred teens would meet elite and well-mannered students and two worlds would collide.
