Ana isn’t exactly one to stand out. Although she may look like an exchange student, she’s your average brown haired, brown eyed, born-and-raised United States girl. She has brunette hair that has natural loose curls, although she often likes to straighten it or play around with other styles and she also deep chocolate brown eyes to match along with naturally tanned skin. She is actually the only child of four in her family that really shows their mother’s Latina heritage. Although, she has no problem with being left un-noticed, in fact, her quiet and laid-back nature actually prefer things to be this way, it’s easiest.
Growing up on a farm never exactly inspired Ana to over-dress except when necessary and she really prefers to walk around in broken in blue jeans and a t-shirt, hair tied loosely up and a face clear of make up. Of course, just because she looked this way almost always, didn’t mean she needed to; her parents could have bought her anything in the world without worrying about it, from designer labels to high class horses, but Ana would rather be work for an earn such things as opposed to have her parents by them for her, which is a huge reason as to why she is who she is today.
Although, as much as Ana doesn’t seem to see it, she is quite a beautiful girl. She has a very distinctive face with elegant, almost childlike features and she also has her small and delicate physique. However, something that isn’t clear when looking at Ana is that she has had a child. Some think that is why she likes to wear comfier, less revealing clothes, but it isn’t. Her body was changed by being pregnant, but not to the extent to hide her body. She is proud of being able to have a baby and she loves her son very much, she is just one of those people who would rather be comfortable than jaw-dropping, and there is nothing wrong with that. Usually, all she needs is her pretty face anyway, wearing a t-shirt doesn’t necessarily take away from her appeal.
This Is What Makes Me Stand Out Her rather distinctive Latina features, her soft and lightly curled hair, and her bright, inviting smile.

I Do Ana cracks her knuckles often, has slight OCD when it comes to certain things, blushes very easily and sometimes bites her nails.
I Want Mostly, Ana just wants what is best for her son. She also wants to achieve her goals without the help of her parents, and those goals consist of owning her own horse farm and to someday possibly be an equine vet.
I Fear Ana fears more than she would ever want to admit. She fears failing at what she is hoping for, she fears for her son everyday, she fears that she will never find love and she also really fears rejection.
I Shut up She avoids telling people about her past relationships, especially that with her son’s father, and she also hides how often her parents fight, even to her own siblings.
I am
Ana is her own person, and she really doesn’t care what other people think about her. A few years ago she was exactly the opposite, but as she grew up and learned a few life lessons along the way, Ana realized that focusing on what you’re wearing or how your make up looks isn’t quite as important as you might think. That is exactly why she dresses the way she does and doesn’t mind if people stare as she walks by or make comments on what she is wearing or the way she looks. Why bother yourself over what others think? Be your own person, Ana practically lives by the phrase ‘Everyone is born unique, why die a copy?’
And going along those lines, Ana may have a sweet, even innocent child-like face, but she holds her own. When she feels as though someone is deserving a compliment, she will give them one, but at the same time, if someone needs a punch in the face, she’s not afraid to deliver that as well. That sweet face is often misleading in this way. However, Ana is still the type of girl who likes to sit and talk for hours, and absolutely adores when people take their time to do something special for her; she lives for those moments.
Either way, Ana is always willing to make friends, as long as they respect her and are willing to deal with her sometimes harsh and honest attitude. But in a new place, who knows if Ana will have the opportunity to be quite so picky? Maybe she will need to be willing to make changes, but Ana will always be who she is. A quirky, spontaneous, constantly smiling, but also very up front girl who enjoys calm, relaxing evenings sitting on the couch, but can go for a walk on the wild side every now and then. Mostly, Ana just wants to be appreciated for the person she is, inside and out, and will do the same to anyone who gives her that.

I Come From North Salem, New York
But I Live Here Now West Virginia.
This Is Who I was
Ana was born into her family as the youngest of four children on June 8th near her home in North Salem, New York. Her family’s business, which her father currently owns and runs, is a large horse farm on the land of their home, containing well over 300 acres, numerous stables, and a riding program. Each member of her family had their future already planned out for them- they would grow up, go to college and then take a job at the family stable. Ana was all for this plan since she was a little girl; she pictured training horses and teaching children to ride, and simply the idea of being around horses all of the time was like a dream to her. All of these ideas changed around the time she was 15, when she fell in love for the first time.
Being the youngest of four children always gave Ana plenty of life experience to base her actions off of, which is why when she found herself falling in love at the young age of 15, not only was she surprised, but so was her family. Ana always seemed so innocent, her father didn’t even think she would date at all until after college, but boy was he wrong. Not only that, but Ana came to realize later on in her relationship that she was no where near ready or mature enough for what would come to happen. Nicholas Alexander, or Nick to most, went to Ana’s school, when she was 15 and a sophomore, he was a senior, he played sports, his family had money; there was nothing about him that Ana didn’t like, and when he asked her out, she thought it was a joke and couldn’t say yes fast enough.
They went strong for about 2 years, that one year of school and the one year after high school that Nick took off before college, but once he left for school, Ana found herself lonely and depressed, and when Nick was home from college on weekends and holidays, he continued to change into a person that Ana didn’t like. Around Christmas time of Nick’s freshman year at college he came to Ana’s house drunk, she let him in, yelling at him in the process and it was then that he raped her. She was a virgin until this point, and Nick had always promised not to push her into anything she didn’t want to do, but obviously when he was drunk, any previous promises didn’t matter. When Ana became pregnant, Nick immediately broke things off and completely ignored Ana from then on out.
After having her baby and struggling to finish high school, Ana was extra glad that she had her life and job all set out for her, but after a while, she began to like it less and less. Why shouldn’t she be able to be her own person? Why couldn’t she find her own success? And from there her questions only grew, and she decided to make them reality. She wanted to break out from the place she had lived her entire life where everybody knew her life story, of course she still had ambitions to continue horseback riding and such, but in a new place and on her own. Although her family didn’t want her to move away, they did support her hopes and dreams, and with the help of her father’s financial support, Ana was able to move with her son and favorite horses to West Virginia for a new start.
This Is Who I am Ana is now more grown up than she has ever been, and is really just looking to find herself and where she is supposed to fit in and what kid of life she is supposed to live, along with her son.

I Am Awesome
Ana was packing the last of her things and zipping her suitcases shut when her father gave a soft knock on her already opened door. Ana smiled, “Come on in, Daddy.” She told him with an inviting gesture. He walked slowly in, causing Ana to give a slightly concerned look along with a, “Dad…?” It was then that she saw a few tears run down his cheeks. He opened his mouth to speak, but wasn’t able to get his words out. Ana led him to her bed and sat him down before grabbing him a tissue, which he dabbed along his face. Ana wasn’t sure what to do, so she simply sat next to her father on her bed and waited for him to calm down a bit. At last, he seemed to pull himself together, but only to choke out a quick, “Annie-bug, do you really have to go?”
She found herself on the verge of tears now as well, but managed to hold it together. “I’m sorry, Dad, but it’s just something I have to do.” She paused and glanced at her Dad’s face, but it was expressionless, so she continued. “I promise, it will be a good thing for me, and for Tristan too.” She said, smiling slightly at the end. And speaking of Tristan, he was waking up from his nap and already calling for his Mommy. Ana went over and picked up her son from his crib, which he was quickly out-growing. “Look baby, Grandpa came up to help us with our bags.” Just as she finished, Ana’s father came over and put his arms out to grab Tristan and Ana gladly handed him over. She walked back over to her suitcases and did her best to zip them up before looking back at her father. She gave him a look that said ‘all set?’ and he came over and used his extra arm to grab a bag, as he called Ana’s brothers to help as well.
Before any of them knew it, Ana’s jeep was packed, and all that was left were goodbyes. Ana was trying to brace herself for it, but was soon as she hugged her mother and she lost it, Ana did as well. She could barely say ‘Goodbye’ or ‘I love you’ to Chris, Ben, or Sky. And when Tristan was giving hugs, it was even worse. Ana suddenly wasn’t sure leaving home like this was such a good idea. She could achieve her dreams here, right? Was this really the best thing for her and her son? As she forced herself to buckle in Tristan and then herself, she really wasn’t sure. But when she started her car, she knew there was no turning back. She watched her family fade in her rearview mirror, though her eyes were slightly blurred by tears. She just tried to focus on her future and that she was hopefully doing what was best for her, and also what was best for Tristan.
