her natural blonde locks blew gracefully as a chilly fall breeze blew, making the young lady pull her jacket closer to her delicate frame. she gave a quick shiver before pulling the zipper up close to the top of her chest. "man. it is really cold today .. or maybe it's just me." she said, emphasizing 'really'. her blue eyes slowly looked around, admiring the park dressed in its fall attire. trees bare with few leaves dangleing on thier tips, and the grass surprisingly green and neat. taking a deep breath, she turned down another path in the lovely park.
her booted feet made no sound as she strolled along the path, flashing a friendly smile as people passed by. many people around town were friendly, and that made her happy to be living here. as she made her way farther into the area, the empty space normally filled by the birds singing thier songs, the dogs barking as they chased thier toys, and children screaming from one to another, was bothering her. now, it was just people walking in twos, using each other to keep warm. oddly, it made her jealous, but she was willing to wait.
"time for music..." she muttered to herself, pulling out a small i-pod from her coat pocket. it was nothing special. a simple gray, nano. slipping the earbuds into her small, pierced ears she moved the 'hold' button over and turned on the device. she scrolled and shuffled through a few songs before deciding to listen to 'you belong with me' by t. swift. bianca gently pressed the play button. after a second-pause, the song begun playing, and miss bianca continued walking again. this time, she had a small bounce in her step.
"oh my god!" bianca yelled, taking a few, giant steps back, mouth agap. a rather large, black spider blocked her path of travel. it stared at her. its eyes locked on her like she was his next meal, his body slowly moving towards her. with a short squeal, bianca turned on a dime and dashed for a nearby hill. bianca's short legs carrying her gracefully yet quick-stepping across to cold ground, her feet making little noise thing time. "okay, its okay. he's gone." she gasped as she glared back from the direction she ran from, makeing sure the critter hadn't followed her. pleased and breath caught, the girl patted the ground and took a seat. here, she could see everything .. or most of it. the pedestrians did not look like ants, but she felt like a giant.
glancing from object to object, bianca quickly flicked her blue orbs to the device in her hand. the song had shuffled, and decided it wanted to play 'she's country' by j.aldean. "well, no better way to warm-up .. is dance!" she exclaimed quietly, as too not draw attention to herself. with a quick look-about, she hopped up, adjusted her clothing, and began to rock out and dance 50-50 on the hill. whether or not people looked was on them. she didn't care what they thought.

Shane's feet hit the ground at a steady rhythm, leaving the ground one after another. He kept his pace somewhat fast, but not so he was racing around the park like crazy. This was his favorite activity of the day, his daily workout. Sure he usually did it early in the morning, right before dawn. He liked it better, there wasn't as many people at the park that early. The only reason he was at the park at this time of day was because he decided to sleep in. He liked the idea at the time.
His black basketball shorts flowed around his legs with every step. He had on his white tank top and his I-pod that was in a arm band around his upper arm. Most people that saw him would think he was crazy because it was so cold. It wasn't cold to Shane, he usually ran warm. He figured cause he runs so much his body just puts out more heat. He could run for over an hour strait and still not be tired. He was definably a person that loved to run, and it showed. His muscular body could be seen slightly under the tank top, but he did not really care what people thought.
He continued around the path, his i-pod playing in his ears. Currently it was the song "You don't belong by Daughtry" that he could hear from his head phones. He loved it, it kept him up beat and energized. He watched as people where in there winter coats, most where pairs wrapped in each others arm, apparently trying to keep warm. He would just laugh, seeing the people stare at him as he ran by. Yea, people probably thought he was crazy, but hey, they don't know him.
He ran around the park a little more, seeing a hill a few yards away. What the hell? Shane decided to try his endurance and run up the hill, body thrown all the way into it. Once to the top he smiled, but found himself face to face with a girl dancing on the other side. His body was at full force, anticipating the drop down the other side. "Oh crap!" he yelled and tried to dodge the girl, skidding sideways down the hill, his feet sliding on the grass. He had his hand on the ground above him, balancing himself so he didn't fall. Once he stopped he looked up at the girl and walked up the hill to her, wondering if he scared her. "I'm so sorry, i had no idea you where there. You ok?" Shane was a little out of breath, but you could still understand him.

the overcast moved slowly, as if in no hurry to go anywhere. the light gray clouds looking like giant puffs of smoke, darkening the earth around her. normally, people would say it was a 'depressing' day. bianca, on the other hand, didn't mind it. even though it did make everything colder. it only ment hot cocoa during the cold nights, snuggleing up by fireplaces while relaxing at home. she loved doing those things. those are only some of the good things about the cold.
quietly dancing atop the hill, ignoring the others, bianca happily enjoyed herself, despite the cold. her body moving with the beat and her lips following the words closely. before getting to warm and into it, the song quickly changed. 'she fine by h.chris' begun blasting throughout her head. a small jerk, and she tried to part of the dance, only to fail miserably. epic fail. however, she still had loads of fun doing so. her legs no longer reminding her of the hard work she must do in order to ride one of her horses, even though she was only riding him, and not training him.
as the music started, another person had entered the park. her blue eyes barely caught him out the corner of her eye. she watched closely as he made his way through the park. he seemed to be enjoying a quick-run. his well-toned body showing through clothes that were meant for summer, or late spring. yet, he seemed to be comfortable. even ignoring the constant stares of wonder and head-turns as he moved right on by. bianca smiled. she liked it when people ignored others odd looks, it made her happy for some reason. she didn't know why.
a sudden gust on wind blew hard at the still girl on the hill. "oh!" she squeaked, pulling her coat ever-so-tightly against her body. when it vanished faster than it came in, bianca lifted her smooth face from her gentle hands, and glanced around a few times, looking for the runner. with little hope of finding him, she was about to continue minding herself, when suddenly the voice of a man sounded awfully close. she took another rapid glance around, and found the runner. he was heading her way and looked like a train rolling down its tracks. the look on his face was shock, and bianca could feel it on hers. she turned and braced for impact but, was surprised when there was none. only the sound of grass being mowed over.
once the shock was over, the young-looking guy came towards her and spoke. his voice filled with worry and sorrow. her wide-eyes met his, then relaxed on the spot. he was making sure she was ok. how cute. she smiled reassuringly. "it's okay. i probably should have stayed where people could see me." she giggled."but are you okay? i mean your the one who slid down the hill." bianca asked, noticing his breathing. waiting for his answer, she pulled the earphones from her auds, wrapped the i-pod with them, turned it off, and slid it into her pocket.
