Madison&Gia Madison chuckled with him, she loved to tease and Dustin was the perfect subject this far. She couldn’t help but enjoy her time with him, he was a perfect gentlemen with a great sense of humour. She couldn’t keep the smile off her face or the bit of ember from her cheeks, he had managed to make her totally comfortable with the situation they seemed to be in. Lunch wasn’t going to be awkward at all, maybe things here would work out better than she had expected after all, that was usually the case but she was starting to believe herself. She didn’t even make comment on her horse being the warmest thing in the barn, oh well so she pampered her a little bit but that was how she liked to be with her animals. The filly he had was stunning actually, Madison didn’t doubt she would grow up pretty and big. Her temperament seemed right, she wasn’t bothered by the shorter female’s approach. Laughing with Dustin she was content that things were going well, she spoke out again her words were smooth with that southern drawl that she was no longer conscious about.
Well she’s certainly a pretty great baby, don’t doubt she will do you well. Don’t even get me started on Gia’s standards, though like a sensible lady she has fallen for a hard working country boy, just like i taught her. She smile to dustin and followed him away from his mare’s stall, she looked to him smiling. There was something about dustin that made her confident and comfortable, perhaps it was the way he reminded her of home and what she was used to. His sweet accent and steady gentleman personality reminded her of the type of guy her father had been and reminded her of her first boyfriend. She was stuck in her memory when she heard him speak again, smile was light though her eyes slightly distracted. She felt bad about her relationship with her parents but wasn’t ready to let that be known. As he urged her ahead she smiled and stepped forward though waited for him to be by her side before walking on. Smiling she hadn’t realized how hungry she was till he mentioned a burger, that would be soo perfect. Almost drooling she waited for him, smooth western drawl spoke again.
Mmm a burger sounds perfect, I’m more than ready.
Smile was bright as she looked back to her mare, pushing her curls over her shoulder she was warming up again Dustins coat was doing its job. She pushed her arms through the sleeves, but it had little effect for her arms weren’t long enough to poke out the holes anyways. Hands by her side the coat wasn’t zipped up, it didn’t need to be because when she folded her arms across her chest the thing was closed anyways. Looking to dustin she smiled waiting patiently, this cold day was turning out much better than she thought it was going to, she was pretty certain she had come out with at least a friend anyways.

as he opened the passengers side door of his truck for madison, he listened to her compliments about ice. her southern accent making him feel like he was home again. smiling, dustin offered her the seat, carefully stepping out of her way, and making his way over to the driver's side. he quickly pulled opened the door, hopped inside, and stuck the key into the ignition, turning it on and setting the heat on high. he also turned his radio down. the low mumble of the talkshow host voice was soon blocked out by dustins southern voice. "that's mighty kind of you too say. i'm thinkin' of makin' her my little sisters first horse, unless my other one claims her first." he paused momentairily to chuckle, then he continued. "you taught your horse, to fall for country boys?" he couldn't help but stop and laugh again. dustin didn't know you could teach a horse that. "well, i'm sure her country boyfriend has his standards of fallin' for them high-class fillys. though he's perfectly happy fallin' for a workin' girl too." he flashed a bright, friendly smile.
dustin held his tongue as he watched his friend in his coat. her slender arms like toothpicks in the coats. "now let's feed you so you don't starve to death." dustin teased madison, grinning. dustin patted his muscled stomach, as if he was dieing of hunger, despite the fact he wasn't. yet, thinking of food made him more hungry, so he decided to think of what time he would come back so his beloved horses could eat, then go home and feed the other creatures. he also decided to think a bit more about madison. her sweet persona made him think back. none of his ex's were like her, they were more of the 'shy at first, crazy as hell' later, but madison was different. she seemed to be the 'calm, caring all the time' kind of girl who could put up a fight.. should the need arise. but, he could be wrong, or right. it would take time to figure that one out.
it's amazing what can happen in one day. you plan on going out for a quiet ride, maybe a gallop, and you end the day by taking a friend out for dinner. a friend you just met that day. there's nothing wrong with that. actually, it's different for him. usually, he has to get to know the person before doing anything with them. madison was different though. i guess country people can get along just fine.
when the two were inside the warm cab of the truck, dustin put the truck in reverse, and backed up rather fast, then did the same going forward. as they headed down the driveway, away from the barn, his speed evened out, and soon he was going a little over the speed-limit down the road, heading towards the local diner. he rested one hand on the arm-rest, the other held on to the wheel. his driving wasn't bad, dustin just hadn't adjusted to driving in a town with traffic. growing up, he could go as fast as he wanted, no consequences. he didn't mind living here, but somedays he did miss the farm he grew up on. "so where are you from?" dustin asked, trying to spark-up a conversation, taking a swift glance over to madisons face, her features smooth.
ooc: sorry it took so long. i thought i had saved it awhile ago. turns out, i didnt :[ fml. but now, donee !

Madison&Gia Madison stepped after Dustin egar to get eating she had to pace herself, even shorter than him she didn’t struggle to keep up and was right behind him as he opened the passenger side door. She smiled and blushed slightly, it had been a good time since someone had done that for her; felt like she was home again. Pulling her small coat like dress wearing frame into the passenger seat went much smoother than one would think, she was used to it and drove a truck too. Once comfortably in the seat with the door closed she pulled on her seatbelt and clicked it in, a habit yes and thankfully a good one at that. She folded her arms across her chest trying to keep herself warm in his absence and cold truck, she smiled to him and tried to relax as he turned his truck on. The heat would take a while to get warm and she coudln’t wait, but was very easily distracted by his voice. There was something about it that made her just stop whatever she was doing, maybe it was the familiarity in his accent whatever it was he had her attention now and he had it good. Nodding in agreement with him she smirked, lucky sister whatever one ended up with the filly she was going to make a nice mare. Laughing with him as he commented on her mares interest in boys, well it reflected her own of course. Tone was smooth and fast to respond.
Well whatever sister ends up with the filly is lucky, she’s gunna make one nice mare. As for my mare, her taste in boys reflects my own, she was influenced; a victim I guess. Call me crazy but I pretty much know what she is thinking all the time.
She smiled at him, maybe he would think she was crazy or maybe he would just kick her out of his truck but she was pretty certain being straight with him was the best way to go. She was pretty certain and hoped he was being one hundred percent straight with her. Looking to him across the truck she smiled; as the space filled with heat she let the coat slip off her shoulders and the warmth fill her sweater and body. Inhaling a deep breath her mind wandered to the food they were on their way to, or should be on their way to soon. She was hungry, hungrier than she thought she was. She chuckled with him about her starving to death it was interesting how he seemed to say the exact thing she was thinking, blushing slightly she spoke again sweet southern drawl hit the warming air with ease.
Please hurry I am so very famished!
She laughed with him, relaxed as he put the truck into ease she realized how nice it was when things were this easy, how much of a gentleman Dustin was and how much she had missed those quality’s in the guys she hung around with in the last little while. He made her smile without doing much more than smiling, it wasn’t a huge deal but she was impressed how easy it was to sit next to him just after a few hours of knowing him if only things in life were that easy. Looking over to him again as she was distracted by his voice once more, so where was she from. A simple question that could be taken in so many ways Madison chose to take it straight up as the boy most likely intended, thinking about it for a second she did her best not to let anything she didn’t want to escape in her eyes. So she wasn’t on the best terms with her parents or hometown really; there was a lot of anger twords all of it. Maybe too much but Madison had been so hurt when they sold the place she grew up without even telling or asking her; no-one had told her. So she hadn’t been home all the time anymore and she knew her parents just wanted her to be happy and she had never really let on how much the place meant to her but she grew up there her best and worst memories were in that sweet farm house or in the surrounding acerage. Not that it mattered or he would understand, she smiled to him the light in her eyes wasn’t as vibrant as it had been before she hoped he wouldn’t take notice.
Just outside Houston, yourself?

dustin couldn't help but laugh at her comment but, also couldn't help but smile. she was right, whoever 'stole' his little filly would be luckly, yet more than likely, he would be paying for all the goodies the sister would want to get her. somehow, that was okay. she went on to talk about gia. a victim? dustin could kind of see how that can be. "i won't call you crazy. that's a good thing to be able to do. i can sometimes do that with mr. disco." he said. "though i don't think his taste in ladies reflects mine. he flirts with any filly." he loved teasing his gelding. it was only too easy. dustin casually drove down the road, every few moments taking his eyes off the road to steal a quick glance at madison. the truck was warm by the time they were about half-way to the diner. dustin took a deep breath and relaxed a bit more in his seat. his head resting on the head-rest, his non-driving arm holding his body up, using the arm-rest. "you may think i'm crazy, but i wish i left him his man-hood, instead of takin' it away." he asked, guessing madison did know what he was talking about.
rounding a corner, dustin knew they were close. less than a mile left. "don't worry. i won't let you starve." he teased her. yet he knew how she felt, though he was joking around. the thought of food made his stomach grow more anxious, close to growling. "us country fellers' know how to not let a pretty lady go hungry." he said. the atmosphere inside the trucks cab was, not only warm, but very relaxed and friendly. the two people were getting along great, both comfortable being around each other. even if they only met hours ago and shared one ride together. something about madison reminded him of home.. more like everything. her beautiful appearence reminded him of the scenery that was breath-taking all year, her sweet personality reminded him of all his friends, family, and all the other people around the town. everyone was so kind and giving. and her eyes basically spoke for her. it was amazing how fast he got along with her. dustin always made friends easy. but madison just seemed to be the easiest. maybe it was cause, she too, was from a country home. maybe country people just got along better than anyone else.
after saying where she was from, dustin only nodded and smiled. "i'm from a small town from tennessee... or just outside of it. it's pretty nice. small, but nice." dustin stated, taking one final turn. this one, into the diner's parking lot. there weren't many cars there now, meaning they must have gotten there before the rush. thank the lord. dustin slowed down and made his way over to a spot near the door. his truck towering over all the little cars that were there. as he pulled into the spot and parked, dustin unbuckled his seat-belt and put the vehicle in park. turning towards his passenger, he layed one arm on the steering wheel. "ready to face the cold one more time? for a little bit." he asked, reaching his hand up to the key and pushing it forward. smiling a final time, dustin turned, pushed open his door, and shut it after his boots hit the cold ground. just as fast as he was on ground, he stepped around to the passengers side, and opened the door, offering madison a hand down. made it there in no time, his long legs carrying his effortlessly over the floor.

Madison&Gia She smiled with the boy, he was quite something and great at keeping the conversation going. She chuckled along with him, and then was silent when it was needed. Even in the small bit of silence there was she was never overly concerned she thought things were going rather well actually, it was very nice to be around someone familiarly friendly. When Dustin spoke of his geldings manhood Madison smothered a small giggle, oh how immature she thought to herself but couldn’t help it. She wasn’t laughing at the idea not at all she was actually amused with the fact that Dustin had just said manhood. She looked to him her eyes bright and face fell into a nod, she knew what he meant. There had been a few ranch horses her father had gelded, they were worth their weight in gold and would have made fine studs for the working horses. She looked to him, speaking smoothly in her southern drawl she was less conscious of it around Dustin for obvious reason.
Yah I know what yah mean, we had a few horses on the farm my pa regretted doing the same with.
From one idea to the next the conversation flowed, okay maybe it jumped but Madi didn’t struggle to follow around she found it quite simple actually. She laughed at his remark, a pretty lady go hungry, she was far from a lady and much closer to starving. Though she didn’t even bother arguing that one instead she just smiled to him her eyes locked on his for a moment she chuckled lightly then let her gaze wander out the windows. The winter wonderland was starting to form around them, the grounds were slightly slick with the thin layer of snow but Dustin and his truck were doing a fine job of keeping them safe. Distracted for a moment by the small town she realized how much she missed the simplicity of being back home, how nice it was to see familiar faces walking down the street you grew up on. Instead the few strangers who were sticking out this cold were unfamiliar faces she couldn’t wave to or smile at without getting a weird look in return. They didn’t know her and obviously weren’t familiar with her southern hospitably so she just gave up trying. Distracted in perfect timing by Dustin she nodded she was a small town girl herself and understood his apparent affection for his hometown. Perfectly toned vocals rang out with unusual ease as she spoke to Dustin while her earthy hazel eyes did their best to smile at him,
I’m a small town girl myself, I love the small town atmosphere. Well most of the time anyways.
The thing about living in a small town was that everyone knew everyone’s business, which could be nice and friendly in a neighbourly way but it wasn’t rare that things got twisted and rumours spread like wildfire. She had overheard ladies gossip a time or two and was more than appalled at what they spoke so freely about; things that were hardly their business to say the least. The same happened among the girls her age, it was the whole growing up thing but she had stayed far away from such stupidly and stuck to the barn and her horses. She had lost a few friends at first but gained them all back and then some among the girls at the barns, it wasn’t that Madi didn’t go to the parties or have friends at school she was just very selective about how she spent her precious time. As they came to a halt in the parking lot Madison smiled, she nodded to him as he asked her about the cold. He was out of the truck before she had even gotten his oversized jacket over her shouders. Before she could grab the handle he had opened the door for her and held a hand in a gentleman offering, she was impressed to say the least and grabbed his hand with hers gently. She tried to step out of the truck slowly but her lack of coordination failed her of course, the ground was slick as she hit it faster than she intended on. Slipping out from under her she squeezed his hand tight for a moment and grabbed at the trucks open door. Stablizing herself she drew in a deep breath, her cheeks flushed ember she was slightly embarrassed to say the least. Southern drawl sang out as she tried to shake off her almost shit eating experience,
Umm, Sorry about that lets get inside before I take you down with me.
occ:done. sorreh not my best lmao.
