I would like to introduce you to:
Anthony Lovasz, a married man who makes his living as a jockey and jockey's trainer and has just welcomed his first born into the world. He is 22 years old and possibly the last best man on the face of the earth.
Charlie Parker, a 22 year old single dad of two children, one his own, the other belonging to his ex-fiance and his best friend. This gentleman makes his living as a policeman and although he is really quite charming when he wants to be, he gets stressed out very easily and is well known as a workaholic.
Dustin Kurucz is 19 and currently dating and his girlfriend is expecting his child. He doesn't make a living and gets his thrills from ripping off drug dealers and giving the money to people who are less fortunate than others. He is a Mexican immigrant, and has been through hell and back. He is also a drug addict and an alcoholic, but is trying his best to recover.
Phoenix Zima is currently single and plans on keeping it that way. She is, simply put, a bitch, and she knows it. She is one of the most high class riders at Pinewood stable and there is nothing more important to her than her two friesian horses, Ice and Casper. Unfortunately, after a recent crash that nearly took the life of her beloved Ice, the 19 year old has been terrified of jumping anything bigger than 3'3", any form of oxer, as well as cross country jumps. She secretly has a soft spot for all horses, and it is the one weakness and possibly the only way to her heart.
Sydney Montgomery is an 18 year old rodeo queen with a knack for coming off as a high and mighty bitch, but really it's just a front she hides behind so no one will see that she's really just a scared little girl who was raped by one of her dad's ranch workers when she was 15. She had a tendency to sleep around, and as a result ended up pregnant. She is currently living with the father of her baby, and he's her "sort of boyfriend."
and finally, Tyler Haze. He is possibly the most tragic case in all of Pinewood. He was abused as a child, and when his brother died when Tyler was 17 he turned to crime as a desperate plea for help. He was shot and arrested shortly before turning 18, and spent a year in jail. After he got out he definitely had it rough and ended up in jail for another six months shortly after for being involved in a knife fight that he didn't start. After he got out he happened to run into a girl who he had gotten pregnant before his second arrest. He ended up falling for her, but on the night their child was born, she died in his arms. He was a mess after that, but started turning around when Vivian Kings showed him a way out. They had their ups and downs, and are currently on the worst down of their relationship after Tyler got drunk in a moment of weakness and ended up cheating on her. He is currently nearly 20, and extremely suicidal. He's a ticking time bomb and it's only a matter of time before he goes off.
