Coming from a rich family, Jasper seems to like the designer life. His suits are all tailor made and only the best would. However, Jasper is just the normal jeans and t-shirt type of guy. It is very rare that he wears these suits, and only when he really has to. His style would be described as casual, but with a touch of sophistication.
Jasper doesn't care what people think of him. There's rarely a day that goes by when he doesn't have stubble or his clothes a wrinkled, straight out of the washing machine. He's not muscular, but he's not a total lightweight either. His eyes always seem to tell a story and 3/4 of the time, his eyes get this faraway look in them, as he thinks back to his past or remembers home.
His hair is a chocolate brown and is always straight. Jasper's eyes are a greenish gray and many people (girls especially) say that they see right through their souls, and recognize every flaw that they have. This is scary for most people, but their fears are soon put to rest when Jasper smiles.
This Is What Makes Me Stand Out Jasper's smile and his eye's

Jasper is one weird person. Around his friends, he has happy and exuberant, but when alone, he's moody and snappy. A person just needs to break through his barriers and get past the moodiness, and Jasper is friendly and fun.
Horses mean the world to Jasper, but he is longing for a permanent relationship that is not of the four-legged kind. Towards his girlfriend, whenever he may have one, he his warm, caring and gentle. He is respectful and has good manners. However, most of these relationships don't last very long as he gets very jealous most of the time.
Jasper relishes in winning. Be it in the business world or in the show arena, it doesn't matter to Jasper. He's ruthless in the business world. Jasper doesn't take nonsense from anyone. If there's something he wants, he'll get, no matter who's standing in his way.

This Is Who I was
Jasper hasn't always been the rich-spoilt kid that he is now. At the age of 5, Jasper's biological father left him and his mother. His mother soon remarried with Johnathan and Jasper didn't like him. To escape his family, Jasper took up riding. The instructor saw that he had a natural talent that very few people possessed. Jasper's stepfather decided that he would support Jasper financially throughout his riding career.
Jasper's first pony was a liver chestnut mare named Toffee. She taught him a lot, especially how to stay in the saddle. She also gave him the most showing experience. Soon, however, Jasper decided that he would try his hand at eventing. He fell in love instantly. He received a Welsh X pony that took him through levels.
When he was 15, he was involved in a car accident, that killed his sister and left him a coma for 3 months. Jasper had to learn to do everything again: walk, talk even write. For some reason, Jasper blamed himself for his sister's death. No matter how many times people it wasn't, the more he believes it was. For nearly 2 years, Jasper didn't show or even ride. He was an underage drinker and had a few stints in a juvenile detention center. That was when Johnathan had enough of Jasper's behavior. Instead of punishment, he received Silvana, an abused Thoroughbred mare, that had very little trust and hated humans.
Together, he and Silvana fixed each other. Jasper left his bad-ass ways, and Silvana learn't to trust and love. He went to college and then varsity. He got a degree in Law and Business. Johnathan was so proud of his 'son' that he made Jasper a CEO in the family business. Leaving Silvana at home, he is leasing her to an excellent student. Just to get away from Chicago, Jasper moved to West Virginia and heard about Pinewood, where he is hoping to pursue an active competitive career, while upholding the family business, working from home.
This Is Who I am I'm alive, but through this I learn.

Calhoun was depressed. There was no use in denying it. It wasn't because he had no mares, they were high maintenance in the first place, but because he hasn't fought with another stallion in weeks. His blood thirsty nature needed him to fight.
Ain't it wonderful feeling alright
So I tickle up your backbone.
So I tickle up your backbone.
He picked his way up to the training grounds, the one place where Calhoun would be guaranteed of a battle. The young stallions would be there, their inexperience usually caused their downfall. Older stallions usually gave him a wide range of new movements and valuable experience.
And at the break of day you sink into dream, you dreamer
There was a snow storm at the moment, so the training grounds would be made even more dangerous, due to the large crevice which allowed entrance to the grounds. Horses who didn't remember it or has never been there, usually lost their life in the fall.
Calhoun picked up a strong canter. His skin prickled with the sense of danger, and what felt like the right moment, he jumped. Calhoun had timed his jump perfectly. He landed on the other side with inches to spare.
Now that he was on the Training Grounds, Calhoun lifted his crown to take a good look at the equine specimens that were there. Nothing really impressed him, and the sorry sods that were there were not at all impressive.
Calhoun didn't think that the others noticed him. After all, with his grey coat and white underbelly, he was near invisible. Calhoun stood and observed for a while. There was really no point in charging in there and somehow getting himself killed.
He found a small creek that was frozen and over. With one stamp of his dinner plate sized hoof, the ice cracked and cold, fresh water seeped out. Calhoun drank greedily while keeping an eye on the surroundings. The young'uns kept to themselves and didn't dare to approach the old ones. Calhoun just smiled to himself. The experience they gained from being dead, was not of much use. They wouldn't learn anything.
Just thinking of death raged Calhoun's senses. His mind fluttered with hope at the thought of blood that he could spill with pleasure. The rust iron smell would hit his nose and trigger the hate that he stored within himself, the hate that was only unleashed in battle. He could hear his opponents cries already. The pain and anguish that usually went with blood that was unleashed upon the ground. The crimson liquid was the life blood for many, but Calhoun? He thrived upon seeing it on the ground.
Calhoun realized his murderous mood could come at a time when it would cost him his life, but till then he would be the one doing the killing. No stallion had ever survived Calhoun and one of his moods. There was usually no survival allowed.
His feathers were wet and back covered in snow. Calhoun shook his massive 18 hand frame to lose some of it. His thick winter coat kept him warm, but the icy chill went down right into his bones, causing even the giant to shiver.

Down by the rotary
Past town at the edge
Looking down at butterflies
Calhoun decided that enough time was spent in his mind and now he bellowed out his call to a stallion that would answer him. To Calhoun it was merely a challenge that needed to be answered. He decided that he would not kill today, merely fight. The killing would happen at a later stage. When it was required.
And at the break of day you sink into dream, you dreamer
