Corie is a very cute girl who loves to be different from the rest of the "in crowd." Her style would have a be a bit more on the punk side. She loves to shop in stores like Pac Sun and Vans and she loves to wear skinny jeans or boot cuts. She doesn't wear sandals or anything of the like too much, but when she finds that she can rock them out, she wears them. Most times you can find her with some torn jeans from too much use, her etnies, and some pretty cool graphic shirts from the stores she likes. She definitely doesn't want to be considered prep, seeing as she dislikes those type of people.

Her hair fits well with her entire style. Often times she has it down and parted to one side or the other. Her hair isn't very long, but it's long enough to layer and make it rockable. Her color is unique as it's mainly black with some blonde throughout. It's a very good style that goes along with her rocker and skater attitude. She is feminine she's just not preppy, something she totally doesn't want to be.

Her smile is definitely one of it's own kind. When she's happiest it shows throughout her entire face, but her smile is the thing that gives her feelings away. When she's happy, her face just lights up. There's nothing else to it. It could make someone having the worst day in the world smile. That's how special it is. She can definitely turn a frown upside down. She's also very fit. Often times you can find her riding or working out in the gym or on the track. She definitely believes that you need to keep your body in shape to stay healthy. The last thing she would need is getting unhealthy and sick and what not.

Coral is a very sweet girl. Once you get to know her, you'll find that, not only is she sweet, she's very outgoing, honest, courageous, and generous. She's not one to be hanging out with the bad boys in town and getting drunk on a regular basis. She treats her body like it should be treated and not how she thinks she should treat it. If you need a few bucks here and there, she's your girl. She definitely doesn't do that often, but if you're in real need of something and you're with her, she might just be in the perfect mood to ask. Don't be afraid to strike up conversation with her because you definitely won't regret it.

On the other side of this, she's a bit shy when you first meet her. This is kind of surprising when it comes to how she really is, but people are people and they aren't perfect. When she's around the right people, she'll act crazy, otherwise she tends to keep to herself a little bit more than other people. When she was little, she was worse about it, but she's gotten a lot better now that she's older and has had more socializing and public speaking experience.

When she gets really into her crazy side, she can be quite funny to watch. That and wierd. She doesn't mind being called either though because she's confident in who she is. She doesn't need other people to complement her on her style to make her feel good about her self. She has a natural confidence with herself that is always a really good thing to have. This allows her to be anything she wants to at any moment, always a good thing to have if she ever gets to being able to perform concerts in front of fans.

She loves to party and just have fun and she's a typical dorky band kid. She can bit a bit bossy at times, but that's just another part of her. Overall, she's an amazing young girl who is going to try her hardest to become an amazing musician and a best friend to anyone who will tolerate her crazy side.

This Is Who I was

Coral's parents wanted more than just one kid and that's exactly what they had. After having their oldest daughter Alyssa, they waited a few years before having another kid. After waiting, they had Coral. From the start, Coral was a pretty little girl. She was often a little bit more spoiled than Alyssa was seeing that Alyssa was a bit older and didn't need as much attention. Never the less, Alyssa did get attention from her parents. They weren't parents who didn't care for each and every kid that they had. Her parents compared to most were very supportive of their kids and cared a lot for their health. They were overall amazing parents and tired as hard as they could to provide everything and anything that Alyssa and Coral wanted to do.

As a little girl, Coral took swimming lessons and gymnastics. Both of these sports kept her healthy and she had a natural love for both of them. She'd find ways to get her parents to take her to both for practices and competitions all the time. She really truly loved each sport, that was until she fell in love with horses. After she fell in love with them, her parents made her stop another sport. This was a hard decision for her to make, but she chose gymnastics and horse back riding. So, she started riding and continued on in her gymnastics career which was currently going towards a very good direction.

As she progressed in each sport, she would soon have to choose which one to focus on. In the end, she would ultimately choose horses, but that didn't mean she would totally quit gymnastics either. She loved both with a deep passion, but she did have to choose. Along with these things, she loved music. In her spare time away from school and sports, her parents bought her a guitar and some guitar lessons. This was when she was a young teenager and as she grew up and started high school, she played her guitar more. She focused on writing some of her own songs and then playing them in a quiet place around the Pinewood Stables. She played for the horses and pretty much for her self satisfaction.

Other than all of this though, she met some amazing friends in middle and high school. Her best friend from kindergarten, Libby, made made this journey with her. They were like sisters should be on a normal basis. They spent tons of time at each other's houses and always talked about the latest fashions or boy problems. They trusted each other with their lives. Unfortunately, one stormy night Libby had been out partying with other friends. Coral had a family obligation that night and wasn't there to advise anyone that getting drunk was not the best thing to do at all. So, she with everyone else back home, but they crashed into another car and instantaneously libby was dead. She heard about the crash the next morning and went to the hospital, but she found out the news and instantly was heart broken. Her life would never be the same.

Yes, Corie had the support of her big sister and her family, but she had lost a very close, very dear friend that would never be able to be replaced by anyone, including her sister. This ended up putting Coral in a depression like state for a little while. It took all of her other friends and family to help her out of it, but eventually she was able to move on and live her life like Libby would want to. They were hard times for Corie, but she was able to make it through them with everyone helping her.

If that wasn't hard enough, her father had come within inches of a near death situation. He had been shot while serving time for the Army. He was placed in the hospital and stayed there for a few weeks to heal, but he survived and that was all that mattered. He is now retired, but has a different job. Those weeks that he was in the hospital though had scared Corie. She didn't want another repeat of death of a loved one. Even with all this sadness and depression she made it through everything with being dependent on drugs or alcohol. She was truly a strong and determined person and would never give up easily. As with any girl in high school, she also had some complicated relationships, but she made it through those alright also. Now, she's out of high school and looking for some fun around pinewood. She'd like to race some of her horses, but her height and what not limited that for her. Most of all though, she wanted to do something with her musical abilities, with horses on the side. That would be her perfect dream.


This Is Who I am Looking for some fun times with some old friends. Maybe a relationship or two, but nothing too complicated.

I Am Awesome Life had been hard for Ben. Although, who's life in Pinewood was honestly not hard, scary, or absolutely crappy. Neither Liz or Ben knew many people that hadn't recently messed up in relationships or in other parts of their life. Maybe these mistakes were due to something that happened in the past. That could be it. Their life was horrible in some way or another in the past, whether it be the parenting style and/or the lack there of or it could be living conditions, schooling, the choice of friends, or any other combination of events in the past. Life was full of decisions and those decisions could make or break someone's future in life. Even little things such as choosing to party and getting drunk one night or going for a walk in the middle of the night. Those little things could change a person's life forever depending on what happens while he or she is out having fun.

Humans don't really think about the consequences of their actions at times...they just dive into what they want to do. Humans, as a race, really need to just step back from everything and look at events in their life objectively. That would be the best way to try and make decisions, but by the time they do this, it takes double the time. Why use double the time when you can make a decision at the spur of the moment and not care about consequences? It's certainly easier and people these days are always looking for the easy ways out. Life isn't supposed to be easy though. There will always be obstacles in life and these obstacles help define it a person is strong mentally. The hardships in life are meant to test a person and just like everyone else, Ben had tests in the past and tests to come in the future...in the very near future.

Speaking of, the newest news about Pinewood's various couples was that Tyler Haze got caught drunk and cheating on Vivian, his long time love interest. Poor Tyler he has gone through hell and this was yet another thing to add to his list of heart breaking. Liz, who just happened to be at the bar one night saw Tyler in his severe depression state and they started making out. Oh what fun life was with alcohol and life troubles. Life's little pleasures sometimes made life worse and compounded problems even more. So, even though alcohol "relieves" stress from daily life, abuse of it can cause more heart break. Now, how does Ben play into all of this heart break? Good question. So, Tyler and Vivian are broken up and meanwhile, Vivian might need a shoulder to "cry on" and Ben was convinced that he was going to be Vivian's shoulder to cry on. Little did he know that if he even touched her, He'd be beaten to death by Tyler later, but in any case he would try. This was part of the reason that he showed up to the barn today. He wanted to look for Vivian and he also wanted to ride his horse El Diablo.

Now, Ben and Vivian had some history together. Of course it wasn't long history seeing as how Vivian was with guys normally and Ben wasn't a guy who committed to one girl for very long either. Even though he might have had a lot of girlfriends, he had never yet found "the one." No girl had ever stolen his heart away or broken part of his inner core enough that he had given his heart to her fully. Even so, he did like Vivian enough to date her longer than most girls. He was a bit heart broken when they had broken up, but he got over it and moved on by dating yet more girls. There still was a bit of that lust for her in the back of his mind and that's what would drive him to try and talk to her and relate to her again. He didn't know if it was going to work, but he could always try. He definitely wouldn't put his heart out to be stomped on though. He wasn't going to go through that again. Not with all the hurt in his past. He had a tough outer core though and could take a little bit of hurt. Confusing isn't it. Yep, Ben could be confusing at times. He was outgoing yet had a deep inner barrier that no one could break and he was tough, but he sometimes got hurt easily. He was a complete human oxymoron.

He would be excited to test his luck with Vivian again, but little did he know he would end up with more than just emotional hurt. Poor Ben this would only add to his life history. That's what you get for messing up with someone's soul mate though. Even if they were broken up for time being, that didn't mean that those two people still didn't have feelings for each other. Ben needed to learn a lesson though that you can't just move in on a girl who was somewhat hurting and in a troubling time. This experience would be fun otherwise.

With all of this in mind, he drove to the barn in some trendy clothes, but clothes he could also get dirty in. He first visited Diablo in his stall. That horse was pretty crazy mean at times, but he liked Ben at times because they could relate to each other. Diablo had also had a hard time in life. He was abused and mistreated and virtually hated humans, but together Ben and Diablo had a special relationship. They worked well together, except for the times that Diablo got tired of being worked with and just rebelled. Ben could get a temper with people too though. He pretty much hated young kids besides his sister, who always tried to watch out for him. People annoyed both of them at times. They were a lot alike and that's why the worked so well together. Ben ran a curry around Diablo's body and then soft brushed him taking time to make him look perfect. "Good boy, Diablo." He patted Diablo, fed him a carrot and then put the brushes away. He then went to get some tack, but before he did so, he saw someone. The exact person he was looking for...it was Vivian. He knew how she looked and he still had a picture of her in his mind from when he first had dated her. She was one of the cutest girls he had seen and there was no way he could forget how she looked. He looked in her direction and then said, "Hey Vivian, Long time no see." He moved outside the stall and only hoped she would respond.
