Alright kids, I'm not going to lie, I am extremely OCD about certain things, and board stretching is one of the things that I simply cannot handle. It just doesn't look pretty, and it drives me absolutely insane. So the lovely miss Chey Butter and I were talking about it, and we're going to make a limit on the picture sizes, both in signatures and in posts.

The pictures should not be over 525 pixels in width. If you look at the properties of our header image, it is 700x250, but we also need room for the avatar on the side and your name and such, so we would appreciate it it you kept your signatures, and any pictures you use in a post at 525 (or smaller).

If you have a signature that is larger than 525 in width and would like someone to resize it for you, please send me the link and I will get that done for you ASAP. We will be installing a code (when we find it) that will automatically resize any image that is too large, however, we do ask that you resize it yourself. It's not a lot to ask, but please, for the sake of cleanliness and order in the boards, keep your images small enough that the boards aren't stretched, and people with normal sized monitors don't have to scroll over to see the entirety of the post.

Now: I finally found a code that automatically re-sizes signature and post images that exceed 525 pixels. However, the code I found that works without shrinking all of the other forum images (such as our header) does not include a link the the full-sized image. But since it's the only one I can find as of now it will have to do. Hope this is okay!

Let me show you how this works real quick so we can avoid any possible confusion...

So say you want to post this image in a thread: (click)

Now, since that image obviously exceeds the 525 pixel limit, but no worries, this is where the code comes in to play. Once you've posted it, it will automatically look like this:



Notice how it doesn't stretch the boards? Walla! That's how it works. It's really quite simple and it has the same effect on signatures. Now, if you would also like to see the full sized image, try this: right click the image and click Copy Link Location. Now paste that either into your address bar or a new window and there you have it! Sound good?
