danica is a normal looking young lady. born and raised in paris, france, she never quite got as tan as most american girls ever do, living in northern paris on the countryside, but her parent's genes had a sunkissed pigment in them if it weren't obvious.
both of her parents have a brownish-blondish color to their hair, so it was a given that danica would too, but it was her eyes that were shocking. a deep dark chocolate color which her parents were questioning. the voesy's always, ALWAYS had blue eyes. oddly enough danica would be the only one with brown eyes, which her grandmother never liked, but she'd get over it.
danica's height had never been a problem, being an equestrian and all. she is quite short, only around the area of five feet and she never weighed a lot, but nothing abnormal of coarse. as she got more into the equestrian world, she put herself on a healthy diet to keep a thin frame so clearing jumps wouldn't be a heavy load a horse to carry over.
This Is What Makes Me Stand Out her eyes and big hair.

I Adore
I Abhor
I Rock danica's strengths include equestrian sports of coarse, speaking in front of crowds, being honest to people, and respecting people even if they don't deserve it.
I Suck danica's weaknesses include lying, speaking to good looking young men, forgetting important dates, purchasing things without checking her accounts.
I Do danica's habits are twirling her hair around her finger and speaking rather fast when she is nerves. a few quirks are that she only writes with pink pens and she only speaks in french when she wants to say something that she can't say in english, like a secret. =)
I Want danica wants to a olympic gold medalist in equestrian sports like anky van grunsven.
I Fear falling off of her horses and dying or having life changing injuries.
I Shut up danica has only one secret. she once sabotaged a girl at a dressage show to qualify for a fei junior rider qualifying show.
I am
danica is a sweet girl if you get on her good side. if you are one of th every few that gets on the bad, well, she may shun you from her life and possibly say a few hurtful words that she had learned from some american girl at a show in england once. hopefully that would never happen because she doesn't like to be mean and rude to people. danica actually enjoys being the bubbly young lady that she is.
when you first meet miss. danica, you might as well stereotype her like everyone else does. snobby little french girl that does dressage everyday in her thousand dollar saddle on a million dollar stallion. well, you'd be half right. she does have a thousand dollar saddle and her father owns a million dollar race horses in lexington, kentucky usa, but none of that matters. she isn't snobby at all. she is one of those down-to-earth honest people. a great type of person you'd want to talk to. she absolutely hates lying to people, so you could bet that she'd be a loyal friend of yours.
other than that, she can be brutally honest. mean sometimes if she tells you like it is. if you suck at life, she'd be the first person to let you know. if you can't ride a horse worth a penny, again, she'd tell you. so, that can be a little bad, but since when was telling the truth a bad thing? right?

I Came From
desiree voesy, former eventer, forty seven
albert voesy, dressage trainer, fifty three
I Share My DNA With none
I Come From PARIS, FRANCE
But I Live Here Now AMERICA !
This Is Who I was
danica was born and raised in paris, france. her parents, desiree and albert, had lived there all their lives as well. desiree was a rather famous eventer and albert a dressage trainer, a good one, at least that was his reputation in the area. so, danica grew up around horses. from riding little welsh ponies to tall, broad friesians, she had some time in her life done it and heres how the story goes.
around the ages of five, albert finally let danica ride a horse after fearing she would fall at younger ages. her first horses was a thirteen hand welsh pony she called beaux. the little mare was a decent mount for a small girl like herself and she did well as she began to learn the intro level dressage tests, both a and b. only a few years later, at the age of eight, she got to venture on to much more challenging horses like a seventeen hand tall thoroughbred gelding named dorvere. the eight year danica was now doing first level tests at home, but hadn't began to show just yet, desiree wouldn't allow it until her daughter was at least twelve.
at that age, danica did her first dressage show on dorvere, only to have the stallion and spook in result of danica falling off, breaking two fingers on her right hand.
after her barely accident, her parents suggested a a break from riding, but danica refused to stop. unfortunately, she couldn't ride dorvere anymore, since he proved to be a bit too challenging for her. so, albert looked into the purchase of a warmblood by the name of lurue. lurue was a dapple grey dutch warmblood gelding that seemed to be a fine fit for danica, or at least that was what the owner said. when albert took danica to observe th horse, she simply fell in love with the gelding. his movement was so elegant and smooth, he was like a dream. so, albert bought lurue and he lived at the voesy farm for six years until, he was shipped to america, where danica and her parents were moving too.
during those six years in france, danica and lurue accomplished many things. a dressage championship for first level rider and a three day event in bordeaux as well as many other small shows in england and ireland. the voesy's just couldn't let the horse go when they decided to move. even though it cost them a pretty penny, they got lurue shipped on the same plane as them when they moved to america, which is where they live now.
This Is Who I am "wonderfully content with it."

miss. danica voesy ,
this board is open.
everyday seemed to pass so quickly here in barcelona, well to danica at least. every morning she'd wake up and walk to a cafe to get a coffee and then go to the elle office. when she was off there, she would go back home and sit around. there was just never anything to do. not only did she not know a lot of people, she never never made an effort to meet anyone. no, she was no anti-social or anything of that sort, just a bit shy and timid. she was really just afraid of befriending a horrible person that would only make her do things she knew weren't right.
today, she felt like breaking out of that routine. after she had got off work, she made her way down to plaça del rei and sat down on one of the benches. her hazel eyes gazed around the area. there were children running around and couples romancing as well as families strolling down the sidewalk. she sighed as she watched the couples. how she wished that could be here one day. she knew that was a far fetched dream that would never come true, but thats why she wished it. she figured a guy would only distract her from her internship and she would loose it and have to move back to paris with her parents.
from where she was sitting, danica glanced up at the tower in the square. she had always wanted to go up in it. this would be her only time to be able to so she took advantage of the time she had. she quickly stood up and walked to wards the building and up the staircase to the top. the view was simply fantastic. you could see a lot of the city and the taller buildings. she smiled as it seemed to remind her of going to the eiffel tower and see the view there of paris. though the spanish sun was beating down instead of the cool paris breeze blowing in her hair, it was similar in some ways.
so, this is where she stood. leaning over the railing and staring around the area that she could see. she didn't say anything, but let her thoughts race though her head and think about things. that was one of her favorite things to do when she was alone. hopefully, someone could come by and chat. she really didn't like to be all by herself. it was like a quirk to her. you'd always spot her with a friend or a group even, but never by herself unless it was completely necessary. this moment just wasn't necessary.
Thanks Isa for helping =]
