» There Goes my Hero;
The birth certificate reads Michael Lynn Sekondry
But Everyone Calls Me Mike, Mikey, Mike 'n Ike, and Baby Blue [for his eyes]
Ive Been Breaking Hearts for 18 years
The say I Am a horse trainer [dressage anyone?]
Ive Been Told I Look Like Alex Evans
» Rock and Roll, Baby.;
I am so tall 5 foot, 7 inches
And I Weigh 136 pounds
Ive Bee Ninked And Pierced snakebites.
They always say I look like a punk. since Mike was in high school he's been cast in to the "rebel" crowd, for several reasons. of course, unlike his appearance suggests, he's never really been loud or rebellious. being a quarter asian, his skin is tanned and practically flawless. he has light freckles on his cheeks and nose, but they're only visible if he's been out in the sun too long. deep, piercing blue eyes from his mothers side cause girls to fawn over him, so he likes to wear sunglasses to avoid the attention. his hair is styled "emo", if you will; black, mid-length, clean, and highly layered. it's one of the one things he likes about his appearance.
his build is very lean, not because he doesn't eat or anything, but because of his high metabolism. his isn't necessarily "muscled", but if you can catch a glimpse at his torso you can see the outlines of abs. his arms don't look too amazing either, until you see him use them. still though, light muscle, nothing too serious. his forearms are quite thin, and scarless, in case you were wondering; and his hands are often called "girly" because of his long, thin fingers. legs are long, but otherwise normal, on the thin side if anything; and he's got a cute butt. ;33
he likes clothes, especially random acessories, and he occasionally goes overboard with them. he sometimes makes his own, but only in the winter, when horseback riding is more occasional. almost never seen without a hat of somekind, or other crazy addition to his wardrobe, like a random tie or multiple belts. he's also a fan of sleeves, so people aren't oogling his arms or something strange. loves wearing bright, sometimes neon, colors; and tends to stick to a color theme when dressing each day. otherwise, he's normally out and about in pajama bottoms.
This Is What Makes Me Stand Out his bright, freaking eyes. because of his rather shadowy appearance, they stick out even more and are normally what people are caught staring at. otherwise, he's shy and blushes a lot, which for some reason draws people to him?
» Chances Taken, Hope Embraced;
I Adore stripes, tophats, skater shoes, wearing more than one belt, bagels, anime, manga, coca cola, scary movies, internet, sketching, writing, the color blue, his cellphone, smart-ass retorts, fuzzy rugs, photography, and outgoing people [although he'd never admit it.]
I Abhor vain people, swimming pools, old music, old people, old styles, teachers, glaring, people who treat him like a four year old, and mustard.
I Rock at writing different kinds of literature, holding in laughter, baking, puzzle-solving, organizing, typing, almost all school subjects, keeping a straight face, matching colors, drawing, dressage, and saving money.
I Suck at giving speeches, explaining things, being spontaneous, sports [other than horseback riding], and staying calm in situations he's not accustomed to.
I Do he can't stand things being uneven or out of place, unless he's wearing them. he's been caught fiddling with other people's appearances more than a few times because of this. friends call it "fidgeting", and love to point it out.
I Want to start a good business and make somekind of name for himself.
I Fear unfinished basements, and he's partially gynophobic.
I Shut up about most of his past, and he doesn't like telling anyone his birthday [he doesn't want a surprise party or anything stupid.]
I am unique. Mike is easily flustered, and blushes often. of course this throws him into the "cute" category, and gets him more attention than he wants. he's normally quiet, his edgy appearance being the only thing that sets him from the crowd, and needless to say he likes the attention, as long as it's silent. making conversation with people he doesn't know well isn't his forte, and he's constantly trying not to say something stupid. for people who know him, it's an entirely different story, he's louder and more confident, not afraid to laugh at himself or his friends in the least. he's the definition of submissive, until you can break past that outer shell. it's getting him to that point which is difficult.
placed in a situation he isn't familiar with, he can do one of two things. one, become totally confused and adorable and have no idea what to do with himself except fumble around awkwardly, or two, get a little more frustrated and fiery and end up doing something he will probably regret, like sounding a bit more mean than he should. the first is normally his reaction to pretty girls talking to him, the second is more towards guys hitting on him. either way, he'll probably start backpedaling as quickly as possible. in this situation, it's best to just keep following him around and refuse to leave him alone until he talks to [or goes out with] you.
» I Know I Won't Be Home At All;
I Came From Jennifer and Bill Sekondry. both are insurance agents for Farmers Insurance back in California.
I Share My DNA With one younger brother, Kyle, who is 13; and a younger sister, Stormy, who is 15.
I Come From San Francisco, California.
But I Live Here Now Pinewood, West Virginia.
This Is Who I was growing up in California he was a very conventional child. he played a number of sports, his parents sure he would try everything until he found what he wanted. he played soccer and baseball, and even tried figure skating and swimming, but nothing really appealed to him. he eventually contented himself with quietly pursuing a career in literature, although he had no desire to teach such a subject. When he turned twelve, his mother met a lady who owned horses. he went out to visit said place and fell in love with the gentle beasts. ever since he's been with them.
specifically, he had an interest in larger horses, especially friesians and gypsy vanners. when he had no luck in the racing area, he moved to more calm competitions, like dressage and show. here he excelled with his stallion, Wesson, a beautiful, high pedigree friesian stallion. after a while he started to, not only train Wesson, but other horses to create a living.
in school he was always a very good student. he got good grades in almost all his classes, but still excelled in english. he even managed to get a record score on his ninth grade english csap. around eleventh grade, he began using cocaine. luckily he broke the addiction quickly and quietly, although occasionally he is hit hard with bouts of depression. despite the, still rather small, dip in his GPA during this short time, he passed high school with flying colors, but decided not to go to college and rather to pursue the career he already had, doing something he loved. he did not, however, lose his love for writing, and he is currently working on several fantasy novels.
after graduating high school and breaking the facts to his parents that he was leaving to a place more suited for his dreams, he moved to Pinewood. hearing of a city full of equine lovers was like a wish come true for Mike, and although his parents didn't like it at first, they helped him to move and get up on his feet in West Virginia. here he's managed to make a content living for a year or so and isn't planning on stopping it any time soon.
This Is Who I am he's in a good place, with a good job, and a good horse. what more could he ask for?

[/i][/color] things suddenly went silent as the words hung in the air. Mike's chest heaving from the yelling he'd been doing. Once again he was being pushed into something he didn't want, the only difference being he had actually spoken up this time. His mother could only stand wide-eyed on the opposite side of the room, half surprised that her little Mike-Mike was disagreeing with her and half surprised that he had gotten this riled up without her even noticing it. They'd been argueing sometime now, but it hadn't gotten this bad until the last outburst. Bill stood a few feet away from his wife, looking her over, Well alright then. How're you getting there?[/i]Mom! You can yell at me all you want, but I'm leaving and it's not your decision!
Jennifer looked exasperatingly at her husband, Are you- seriously...[/i] Bill held her gaze for a moment before she started again, Okay fine. Whatever, don't listen to your mother.[/i] she muttered as she turned around, hands up and left the room. Michael looked sadly after her before turning back towards his father, eyes darting around in a nervous manner. He wasn't sure how his mom was going to react to such a rebellion, but he knew it wouldn't be good. A friend of mine got a truck reserved for next week, and with the money you were planning to use to send me to college I could buy myself a condo or something. I probably wouldn't even have to spend all of it, I could- No, no. They money was meant to be for you, and if this is really how you want to use it, then it's yours.[/i] his father cut in. Mike took a moment to stand and gape at his father before his eyes started to tear lightly. He sniffed, realizing what was happening and wiped at his eyes hastily, Thanks, dad... it's means a lot to me.[/i][/color]
Well what are you still doing in here? You better get packing if you're going to be leaving.[/i] Mike jerked his eyes towards the hallway leading out of the kitchen, where his mother stood leaning in the doorway, a slightly agitated but knowing expression on her face. He smiled again, arms falling hopelessly to his sides as he beamed at her, I'm not going to let you down, mom. I'm going to make a living for myself.[/i][/color] Jennifer nodded slowly, stepping forward to embrace her son, You have to promise to bring me grandchildren though.[/i] she muttered, before stepping back and turning away. Mike hugged her back before she moved away, a rarely seen smirk coming to his face, But what if I- Then you'll adopt![/i] Mike could do little more than turn towards his father and laugh.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
Thanks Isa for helping =]
