Dear Rainey-

Its been moderate this past
week at pinewood. I still don't have any friends and I
haven't got up the courage to ride yet. What if I fall and
someone laughs at me? I wish I had a friend. It would
help alot. Hoku seems to like it here. There are more
horses than at Shadowfax. I miss chincoteague so much.
It's loud here. I could never possibly know everyone.
People look at me weird alot. They seem to think I
shouldnt be here or something. Hoku's been amazing.
I had to have Nana come and help me pick her feet a
time or two though and I hate to do that. She's so
afraid of horses. Hoku was a perfect lady though.
I need to ride her soon- she's getting stiff. There
are corrals here but she's still not used to being
corraled with other horses. She's a bit skittish. I
don't like keeping her stalled up all the time. I'll
write again soon.
