Holding the lead with some slack Shawna admirred the stunning young filly. Registered with the Jockey Club she'd officially become two on January. All though she was born somewhere in late March she was a silly little filly. Long strangly legs she stood at almost sixteen and two hands, the vet said her bones were still growing. At any guess the mare could actually become a good racer that is with the right training. Her family raced several horses down in Kentucky and several become average stakes horses, or were sold in claiming races. Either way Shawna knew the ropes around some racehorses.
Azalea grazed and was focused deeply into the task of eating. The little filly was in the paddock next to the bigger pasture meant for Rocky and Juniper. The three horses were hopefully gonna be in the pasture together that was if they all took a liking to each other. So far the other two hadn't met the mare, stroking her neck she smiled as the filly lifted her head and nudged her shoulder. After a six hour journey the filly was now her own and that bid was only a penny to what she was worth.
With a nice leather halter that had her registered name printed on the side. Lead line with a chain at the end because it was the only extra she had since Juniper and Rocky had taken the other ones when they went to the vet. Opening the paddock gate she unclipped the lead line from the filly's halter and she sprinted into the grass filled field. Azalea took a look around as she stood a few yards from the gate and nickered to see if there were another other horses, no reply.
Sulking the mare walked with her head low and trimmed the grass quickly with her teeth. Shawna leaned against the gate and day dreamed about the filly winning the Triple Crown. IT was then again just a silly dream. Trotting towards her new own the mare nudged her elbow before walking away and laying down to bask in the sun.

Chey quickly ran her fingers through her hair before throwing it up into a messy bun and jogging through the parking lot. Today had been pretty hectic... alright, so this month had been pretty hectic. What with the wedding, and taking care of little Caiden, then the whole thing with Vivian... it had been so long since she had been down to the stable for more than five minutes. Poor Shadow was probably feeling neglected. But today she had dropped Caiden off at Alex's house for the day, so maybe today she could actually get some work done.
Of course she was late for feeding, and then she needed to take care of that cut on Twilight's hock, and Patches needed her joint supplement, and Shadow and Sterling needed exercise... She let out a breath of air as she walked into the cool stable hall, tucking a loose strand of hair back behind her ear. First things first she had to bring Patches in from the pastures. After a quick detour to Shadow's stall to say hello, she started off towards the pasture. She wasn't too surprised that she wasn't the only one out there. After all, it was gorgeous out today.
A young female was leaning on the fence, watching a beautiful mare basking in the sun. Chey smiled as she approached and leaned on the fence next to her. "Beautiful mare you got there, a Thoroughbred I'm assuming..." She said in a friendly tone. She figured she might as well stay and talk for a bit. Maybe slowing down for a bit would help her relax and get rid of this killer headache she had... "So are you one of the new borders?" Chey asked. "I don't think I've seen you around before. But I might be wrong... I haven't been around too much myself" She chuckled a little and ran her eyes over the beautiful mare in front of them as she waited for her reply.
((OOC: ugh, so I have like nooo muse... this is bad. I apologize for the crappy post xD))
