Hayley pulled out the cocaine out of her pocket. She smiled, as she spread it on a cutting board. Ok, so maybe a jumping ring wasn’t the best place to get high at or the smartest but if this is were the drug party was taking place, she would sure as hell make it. They sat around a area in the arena, that felt as if they were sitting on sand. Wait, weren’t they? The area was near a small jump, one Hayley remembered trying with her old pony Misery Business. Hayley smirked as her friends took out there drug, and a certain dealer was selling harder core stuff. Who in the world would want to take meth, anyway.
She smiled as she rolled up the dollar bill, and suck it into the cocaine. Hayley snorted, and chocked back as she felt the sensation of being high roll in over her. Life was taking it’s toll on the seventeen year old. She smiled again, and gazed over to her one night stands man.
“Yo, Chuck what do you got”? She yelled watching him hit his high.
“Black tar heroin. Want some”? He asked her slightly grinning as she was.
“I’m sorry, I don’t have much use for needles.”

The night wasn't too deep, well, not in the opinion of the two officers out riding the streets that night. It was about midnight, and they still had six more hours to go before they got off. They rode side by side down the street in silence, both watching the streets to the side and in front of them for anything that looked out of place. It was a dull night, and as of yet, nothing of interest had happened. They'd left about five parking tickets so far, but that was it. A lot of nights were like this, quiet and boring. It seemed crime had picked up and moved out of the streets to avoid police attention.
The radio suddenly squawked out a call, asking if there were any officers not currently preoccupied who could respond to a tip on a drug party. Several officers called in saying they were busy, a few called in to say that they weren't busy but were too far out. Finally, Charlie called in to say that he and the other officer could head in to check it out. Headquarters was slightly reluctant to send the mounted police in, but since there was no one else, they gave them the go ahead. Charlie and the other officer turned their horses towards Pinewood stable. It would take them about 20 minutes to get there, considering they were on horses and not in a car, but they could do it.
When they arrived, they could almost instantly see the group of about 20 in one of the riding arenas. Charlie shook his head and called in to report that the tip had been correct and for them to send a few squad cars. HQ responded with a 10-4 and about ten minutes later, the cars all pulled up, lights off, and the officers got out. Charlie and the other mounted officer moved their horses around to the other side of the arena silently, in case anyone was still in their right mind enough to run. When they were positioned where they wanted to, the ground officers moved in. They turned on their flashlights, and pulled out their guns, keeping them leveled at the people. All in all they had about 25 officers there, so the arrests wouldn't be too difficult to make...or at least, Charlie hoped not.

Hayley looked up at the sky. Was it pretty? Most certainly was. She leaned on her friend Sara’s back, as she mingled with her hair as well. Sara only came here to make sure everyone was sober, including the very new druggies. Hayley Williams (who would later change her last name, but that was a different story). Hayley had been addicted for about what, five weeks? Wasn’t that a month? Hayley rubbed her head, and looked at the sane person. Her eyes began growing wider, before she took of running. Wait, why was she running?
Hayley watched Sara run and starched her head. Before she knew it, the cops were crashing their party. What the hell? Where they going to take drugs too? Hayley was about the only one who started screaming, and attempting to run away. She left her cocaine, and starting taking off toward the right of the barn, before she bumped into a cop [Charlie]. Hayley found herself on the ground, rubbing off the dirt on her clothing before she attempted to get up. But why was the world spinning? Hayley had a look on her face like, ‘I’m innocent please don’t take me’ and looked at the officer with sad eyes. Sure, she was trying to get up and run, but she just looked like a dead fish falling every which way.

Charlie's attention sort of drifted off for a few minutes when he was interrupted by the sound of someone running. Go figure. There was always at least one that tried to run away. He swung down off the back of his big Belgian horse, and the other officer turned on his light from the back of his horse. This was the way their teams worked. One guy was the ground officer, and the other was the one who stood back unless he was needed and kept the light trained on the "suspect." Charlie just happened to have been the ground officer that night, which was fine with him, he preferred the action to just standing aside.
Before his partner could even find the person with his light, she burst out towards them and ran right into Charlie. Yep, this one was definitely high. Charlie caught her innocent look, and had a brief moment of pity for the girl. How did someone get their life so screwed up that they would be getting into this stuff? Nevertheless, he had a job to do. The light fell on her as she fell to the ground, and he knelt beside her, quickly catching each hand behind her back and fastening her into handcuffs. She didn't seem very steady, so unlike with most people, he didn't jerk her roughly to her feet. Instead, he put his arm around her back, and with his other hand pulled her to her feet.
He was doing an arrest sure, but that didn't mean he had to hurt the person. What's your name? He asked, as a matter of protocol, after he learned her name, he had to explain her rights. She probably wouldn't be able to understand what she was saying, but he had to do it for everyone, even the people who were trying to kill him. He couldn't put anyone into a car until after he'd read their rights. You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in court. You have the right to a lawyer, if you cannot afford one, an attorney will be provided for you...and blah blah blah. He hated reading them off, but as soon as she replied with her name, he'd read them anyway.

Hayley shook her head. Why did he need to know her name? If he was a fan of Paramore, her career was done for. She had already seen media flash pictures, and begin to gather around the bust. Hayley didn’t like the handcuffs and began crying, tears falling from her eyes. “THEY FUCKING HURT, GET THESE THINGS OF OFF ME.” Hayley screamed trying to roll over and struggle. “I fucking hate you, I fucking wish you would die and burn in hell.” Hayley slurred her words heavily, and continued to struggle.
“I’m Hayley Williams. I’m from A band. Please don’t arrest me.” Hayley had said in her innocent tone. She then tried screaming at the top of her lungs and trying to kick Charlie in his ‘nuts’ as some would call it. “Let me go you sun of a …. I’m only seventeen have you any heart? I didn’t even take no mother ……. Drugs. I’m clean, test me.” She assured him that she was clean. Although, it was obvious she wasn’t.

None of what the girl said or did was working for her. He knew they didn't hurt. They were uncomfortable and inconvenient yes, but he knew they didn't hurt. They were probably even a bit loose on her. Not loose enough to come off, but certainly anything but too tight. I'm sure you do. he muttered under his breath as she said she wished he would burn in hell. He'd heard that one about ten thousand times. She was crying and screaming all at the same time, and he wasn't sure if he should feel bad for her or if he should be incredibly annoyed with all of the screaming or yelling.
Finally, she gave her name. Alright ms. Mathews, He said, despite her screaming and attempting to kick him You are under arrest for possession and use of illegal drugs. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be held against you. You have the right to legal counsel and that if you cannot afford a lawyer, one will be appointed for you. If you choose, you may have a lawyer present during interrogation. While saying this she was now trying the guilt/pity factor. It wasn't working. He did, however, hear the part about her being in a band, and understood that the media would never let her hear the end of it if they saw her.
Still holding onto her, he made a deft motion with his hand which brought his horse up on the other side of her. Even if she tried doing something to the horse, he wasn't going anywhere either. He was too well trained. Cover us Wade. He said to his partner, who knew what he meant, dismounted, and positioned his horse so that Hayley couldn't be seen by the photographers and other media. As they walked, Wade radioed up to the awaiting cars that they needed one off to the side, away from any and all cameras. They returned that one would be waiting. However, they weren't sure they could get away from the cameras. They were everywhere.

“That’s an ugly ass horse. Who would ever want to have a horse like that? Ha-Ha, mine is better.” Hayley honestly thought that horse was beautiful, and Hayley was more than jealous. The horse she owned was a fourteen hand terror, ok maybe he was fifteen hands, she couldn’t really tell. Riot was a pain in her ass, and she didn’t like him at all the time. She wasn’t really sure if anyone liked Riot either, due to the fact he wasn’t allowed to be near all the other horses. Hayley shook horses out of he head, and again nearly fell over. She caught herself with her feet, however.
Hayley screamed again, cursing under her breath. “You would be lucky, if I ever glanced at a god damn police officer. You guys are fucking worthless. We, don’t need this country to have goons running around torturing CLEAN teenagers. GOD. I would never think about liking or loving one of you freaks.” Hayley said winking at him in a flirtatious way. She then tried to scream, and spook the horse somehow. She tried kicking it, which was a bad idea. Whatever. Hayley rolled her eyes at the law thing or whatever. ”Like I’m going to listen to a word you liars say.” Did have a lawyer? Probably. She didn’t know his name. “My lawyer is Michael Jackson. He’s to busy raping little boys.” She hard other druggies giggle slightly at her comment.

As they neared the cars, the reporters and cameras started pressing in. They knew the officers were hiding someone between their horses, and they were determined to find a way to see through the barricade and get a picture of whoever it was. Charlie winced inwardly and as they pressed closer and closer, a few crossing the barricade. This was going to be harder than he had previously thought. Not to mention the fact that Hayley was making things much more difficult than need be by fighting him. She probably didn't realize it though, because of the drugs, and so he said nothing about it for the time being.
He completely ignored her comment about the horse. Brigadier was a good looking animal, and he knew it. At 17 hands of pure muscle, he was a sight to behold, and a dream to ride. Plus, he was completely ignoring Hayley's kicking. A few times her foot actually connected with him, usually on the leg, but he continued patiently on the other side of her. Charlie reached over suddenly and pulled Brigadier's head towards him so that the horse's shoulder was now in front of Hayley and himself to block the photographers coming from that direction. Wade moved in behind Brigadier, doing his best to block her as well.
It wasn't working out all that well, and Charlie needed to do something about those who had crossed the line. Hold onto her Wade. He said, his partner coming over and taking his place. Stand Brig. He said to the horse, and then stepped around the animal. The camera men and reporters paused when they saw him coming towards them. He did not look pleased at all with any of them. A few darted back behind the line while others still tried to get pictures. He walked up to one man and grabbed hold of his arm. Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to step back behind the barricade. He said, obviously not joking around. He may have been a few inches shorter than most men, but he was just as strong and if the need came, he could use force.
The man reluctantly backed away, and the few others who remained did the same. They still weren't totally protected from the cameras, but it was better. He walked back over to Brig, Hayley, and Wade, and retook his place holding onto Hayley. They were getting nearer to the car now, and Charlie would be more than glad when they got there. He heard her comment about Michael Jackson and just shook his head. Clean teenagers, He said with a bit of a laugh, If there are any here I'd sure like to see them.

Hayley didn’t like all the media, in fact she didn’t like this at all. “YOU FUCKING RUNINED OUR PARTY YOU DIPSHIT.” Hayley screamed, probably to the best of her ability which wasn’t very good, now. She nearly fell into the horse and looked up at the equine. ”Hi pretty horsey.” Hayley had bi polar mania, which meant she’d be happy and with a snap of a figure she would be cutting herself. Hayley patted him on the head, and looked at Charlie still glaring at him in disgust.
"Hey officer? Do you mind giving me a ride home? I don’t want my mother to find out that I’m an addict." Hayley pointed to the house near by. "I live there."

Charlie's grip on her tightened as she about fell into Brigadier, who just kept walking and ignored the girl. He tipped his head towards her though as she patted him. He really loved people, and it was nothing short of a miracle that he could be so forceful when Charlie asked him to. He was great for crowd control because he would take pains to avoid hurting anyone, yet at the same time he could force them to go where he wanted to. People were generally afraid of such a large animal coming towards them, so that helped quite a bit as well.
Hayley seemed to change suddenly and started acting a bit more...normal almost. Unfortunately, he couldn't let her go home, the arrest had been made, she had to go to jail. Plus, she did commit the offense, and justice had to be served. I'm sorry ms. Mathews. He said, in his ever calm and reserved tone, They're going to have to take you down to the station tonight. He was starting to sort of feel bad about all of this, but the law was the law, and the law said he had to take her in. Plus, he wasn't the only officer here, there were others, and if he let her go, he'd probably get himself into huge trouble for it, lose his job, and become a social reject for the rest of his life.

Hayley screamed slightly when his grib tightened. “Are you gonna tell my mom”? She was worriedly, with fear in her eyes. Hayley’s mom wasn’t the nicest person, but she never did anything practically bad to Hayley. She never hit or beat her, but didn’t always treat Hayley like she loved her. This could crush her mother more than anything, and that’s all she needed right now. “Please don’t….” Is A Hayley asked. Hayley kissed to horsey, unable to pet him. “Horsey, are you are pretty.” Her words were slightly slurred, and her speech was difficult to understand. But was high, and trying to act like she was clean. Honestly, she wanted to die right now. Die.
Hayley tried to kick Charlie again, and wasn’t sure if she had kicked him successfully. Hayley tried kicking him again, but again wasn’t sure if it had hit him yet. She didn’t want to go to jail. She heard bad stories about murders and gags, Hayley didn’t think she was bad enough to there. ”DON’T FUCKING APPOLGZIE TO ME, BASTERD.” She yelled him, tying to keep her balance as the world was spinning. She almost fell again, and squeaked when she did. “Oh no your not, I’m not going down there. I don’t anyone that could bail me, and I have a concert tomorrow.” muse

Charlie continued to ignore her as they came nearer and nearer to the car. He was really hoping they wouldn't have too much more incident getting there, though Hayley seemed to be only getting worse. She stumbled again, once more forcing him to aid her in catching her balance. The hand cuffs always made everyone's balance off, and they were intended to do so in case who ever was wearing them tried to run away. However, for Hayley, the ruined balance probably wasn't helpful considering she was already quite...tipsy due to the drugs. He still found it difficult to believe that someone would submit themselves to this sort of thing.
I'm afraid I can't help you there Ms. Mathews. He replied to her comment about her concert and about her mom. He wouldn't be telling anyone anything about any of this, but he wasn't stopping HQ from doing so, and he was pretty sure they would be calling her mom. Hayley's attempts had landed a few on his legs, but nothing he couldn't handle. It wasn't the first time he'd been "battered" in this way by someone he was arresting. Policemen had to have a high pain tolerance, and in comparison to some pain he'd been in, this was nothing. Unless she shot him with a shotgun at point blank range, he was pretty sure she couldn't put him in more pain than he'd been in before.

Hayley shook her head, and couldn’t believe she was actually going to jail. ”I thought in all those anti drug commercials and movies I watched in Highschool, I thought they were lying. In a way they where, because I shouldn’t e going to jail. For the fucken seventh time I’m sober. Can’t you just test me?” Hayley asked, pouting her lip. That had worked with pervious officers she had run into, and if it didn’t Hayley would always offer to sleep with them. Maybe that would work. Hayley tried to stay where she was, and stomp her feet, but it was difficult.
“Hey sexy, why don’t we go back to my place? I’ll let you meet the girls.” Hayley licked her lips, flirtatiously trying to turn him on. She’d gotten away with that trick from few druggies, obviously because she wasn’t really sure if she looked like she was taking drugs. Hardly anyone noticed, and her body seemed to handle the after effect pretty well. “Your not even trying.” She said, starting to struggle. Hayley tossed her head from left to right. Just because she was short, didn’t really mean she couldn’t put up with crap.

Charlie was half tempted to laugh, but he refrained from doing so. Testing her would be pointless. She was so obviously high off drugs that anyone could tell. No, he wouldn't be testing her before putting her in that awaiting car. He was considering not saying anything in response to her since she would probably just respond with another burst of totally cussing him out. He decided against it though, and replied. That won't be necessary Ms. Mathews. He said, We'd only be wasting our time trying to figure out something we already know.
He heard a slight laugh from his partner behind him at Hayley's request to go to her house, and her attempt to seduce him into it by promising to let him "meet the girls." He knew Charlie was a far cry away from being like that. A lot of guys, if a girl like Hayley asked them to do that wouldn't hesitate to go with her, but not Charlie. Oh no, he wasn't like most guys...he wasn't easy to get like that. He said nothing to her though, knowing that saying nothing was just the best route to go when a question like that was asked. She started to fight him again, and he was really starting to want to just get her in that car and not have to deal with her anymore. They were almost there though, so he wasn't going to have to put up with this for too much longer.
He wasn't really sure what she meant by saying "your not even trying." but then again, she was high, so it was only normal that not much of what she said make sense. Although he was getting slightly annoyed by her he still felt sorry for her. He couldn't imagine what could drive her into doing all of this, though he knew she probably had her reasons, everyone did, though more and more people were starting to say "peer pressure drove me too it." Well that was no excuse. If your peers jumped off a cliff and told you that the clouds would catch you like a soft fluffy pillow would you believe them and jump off too? Kids these days had no idea what that even meant, and just thought it sounded smart.

Hayley looked at Charlie with a glare in her eyes, as if she were saying she hated him. Hayley new testing her would be idiotic, but it would waste time. Hayley didn’t want to go in the car, at all. She was so scared of Jail, and she knew they weren’t going to wonderland, or Disney Land in that car. Hayley felt like cussing anybody out to no one’s business, saying fuck you, about ten times to him but tried to refrain. Hayley listened to him speak, and roll her eyes. “I’ll make sure to tell the judge you never tested me. You have no proof that I’m high as the sky right now.” Hayley winked at him laughing as she said so.
Hayley thought she heard a laugh, and looked at Charlie. “See, he’s up for it I think. You won’t even come in my bed? Damn boy, you sure are different. Are you even a dude? Do you even have a thingy?” Hayley’s drugs made her laugh uncontrollably. She thingyed her head, and felt sick. Oh no. Hayley started ganging, and through up in front of her. ”See what you did you good for nothing useless taste of air.” Hayley said attempting not to look at the puke.
