It was late, how late he didn't know, he'd lost track a long time ago. He couldn't help it though, and how could he when he was talking to Hayley, Anthony, and Alex for quite some time? Well, he'd been more talking to Alex and Hayley, considering he and Anthony were were in the same place. Why, well that was for them to know, and everyone else to find out later...much later.
Anyway, Alex and Hayley had talked the two of them into watching Flicka at the loft, so here they were. The two of them arrived at the same time, considering they left the same place at the same time, and headed into the stable. The place was deserted and there wasn't a light on anywhere. After fumbling around in the dark for a moment or two, Anthony found the switch and flicked it on, illuminating the entry way to the loft. Alex and Hayley obviously weren't there yet, but they would be soon.
The two of them went into the loft and flicked on the light. It flickered for a moment, then came on, lighting up the room. Anthony shook his head at the pictures on the wall, They need to get rid of that. He said in reference to a picture of him astride Shadow of a Doubt that said that it was in the winner's circle of the Santa Anita. We never made it there. Charlie nodded, knowing what he meant. He knew Anthony hated the reminder of that accident, and that picture didn't help him forget.
He turned away from the picture, and towards the door, waiting gor Alex and Hayley to arrive. The things love did to a guy. Who would have imagined that two adult men would be meeting at the stable to watch a complete "girl" movie? Well, no matter what anyone thought, here they were.

“Mom, are we goin’ to see da da?” Chuck asked holding Hayley’s hand.
“Yea, and Auntie Alex.” Hayley replied, giggling at the litte boy. He was so cute.
Hayley’s attire wasn’t the best for a stable., she pleasantly came in her boxers (or Charlie’s) and a white tee shirt.
But of course the little boy came with a bag of toys, for him to keep occupied. The bag contained his monster trucks, star wars, and favorite blanket as well as bottles of milk and some chero’s. He was a little kid, he didn’t exactly know what cocaine was, or chances are he would have some in his bag. But he didn’t, and Hayley didn’t bring any. She wanted to get clean for Charlie, and she meant it.
Charlie pointed at the stable, and begged Hayley to show him Riot, and Broadway. Broadway was a new horse, who she bought a few days back. She was surprising her friends with the new equine, but no one seemed to notice. Hayley decided to take chuck to Broadway, first. The palomino nuzzled the toddlers hand, Hayley laughed and patted the horse on his head. “atta boy.” Riot was acting up, she could here the banging, and decided to just head to the loft.
Chuck Mathews beet her to it, wand was already trotting into the room. He looked at the two boys and giggled running back to Hayley. The mother picked him up, and set him on the couch. Ok, she it wasn’t Hayley normal wear, would he judge her? Hayley hoped not. Anyway, Hayley set out the blanket for him to play on and gave Charlie a kiss. “Chuck, this is daddy”. Chuck walked up to Charlie and hugged his leg.

Alex headed out the door of her house at who knows what hour. The dogs were passed out and didn't even notice she left... Some watch dogs. She wasn't exactly riding or going to the royal ball so a white tank top a black and grey sweat shirt and some comfy running work out sleeping type black and white shorts. She had just finished dieing her hair red and was feeling rather confident about it. Not to much but it felt nice to have a change of pace. She had been talking with Hayley Anthony and Charlie and they were randomly going to the stable loft to watch flicka. She hadn't ever done anything like this and it was exciting. When she was younger she was too busy riding to have a friend over and watch movies. Sure she knew she would wish she hadn't in the morning when she needed to get up possibly before she even went to bed so that she could work Loco. But it was all worth it to have fun with friends.. Friends? yes she would definatly call them friends. She had never met hayley but so far they seemed to be getting along great.. minus the rocky start. So she hoped into her porsche and drove with the quickness down to the stable. She got there and noticed everyone had already been there. She snatched the move from the passenger seat along with her keys and actually left the cell phone at home. She moved down the aisle to see 2 heads surprisingly pop out. King and Loco. She smiled and patted King on the nose. "My two favorite boys." She stepped further down and stroked Loco but then went up the stairs to the loft. Hayley was there with Chuck her son and immediatly Alex awed. He was such a cutie. She looked up and saw him hugging Charlies leg it was so adorable. She never met charlie either but Anthony and him were friends so she knew they would get along. And then beside them all Anthony stood. She walked over and to the odd group. "Lets get this party started." Had completely forgotten about her hair change and didn't realise that Anthony had never seen her hair red before. She had done it once before but that was a while ago. She looked to Hayley she had seen her once before not formerly but her band. Then moved her eyes over Charlie and the little guy hugging his leg. It made her want to have kids. But she knew she was no where near ready for that task. Loco was her kid and a handfull of one at that. That night was going to be a blast. Just the 5 of them. And then from what Hayley said they were sleeping over. That would be most interesting. Alex wasn't sure how comfortable that would be. But she wouldn't let it become awkward this was just friends haning out with each other. She smiled at Hayley "I brought the movie!" She could see how she was this excited for something so juvinial and at this hour. But she was and she couldn't believe it. It felt like she had known these people her whole life. She couldn't hold herself back and stepped up to Anthony kissing him on the cheek. She didn't say anything what could she say she was speechless. What an interesting turn the day had taken.

Charlie smiled when he Chuck came running into the room, laughed and ran back to Hayley. This was only the second time he had seen here free of drugs and/or alcohol. She looked better today, much better. Last time he'd seen her, she was a wreck. Her dealer had put PCP in her heroin and about killed her with it, then she was send to jail and nearly raped by some homicidal maniac, and she looked...well, like she had just walked through hell and been unfortunate enough to survive it all. Now though, without the drugs, without the alcohol, and without all the rest of that, she looked far better than she had before, and in fact, better than she looked most of the time when he was around her.
Charlie returned Hayley's kiss as she came up to him after setting out all of Chuck's toys on the blanket. He wasn't really sure what to think of the title "daddy." Chuck obviously wasn't his son, but then again, he was pretty darn close to being a step dad of sorts. He had to admit that it was a good thing though. If Hayley was willing to tell her son that he was his dad, then that must mean she was really earnest about their relationship and didn't plan on having another man in her life. However, he didn't think society would share his opinion. If they saw Hayley's kid with him calling him daddy, they would most likely automatically assume that he was just another of those guys who she was with, only this time, there were consequences for it...a child. Of course, Charlie had never been one to worry about what other people thought of him, so he wasn't too concerned about it.
Nice to meet you Chuck. He said with a bit of a laugh as the kid wrapped his arms around his leg. He had to admit, Chuck was one pretty darn cute kid. He still found it ironic that they had the same name. Three years ago, he didn't even know Hayley, and she'd given her son the name Charlie. Now here she was going out with him, who was also named Charlie. Maybe all of life's ironies weren't so bad.
He looked over towards Alex as she came in, a quick nod in greeting. He could tell she was excited about this whole thing, and he was guessing, from their conversation earlier, that she hadn't done this hardly at all as a kid. He hadn't either, but he was a guy, so it was normal. However, the other night with Hayley, he was pretty sure he'd seen more chick flicks and other love movies than most people ever did in their lifetime. He didn't mind though. She'd wanted to do it, and he wasn't going to just leave her alone down there. So he'd stayed up the whole night with her, watching stupid love movies.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Anthony also looked up as Chuck came running in then darted to Hayley. He'd never seen Hayley in person, only in pictures, and he would have introduced himself, but, from their conversation earlier and the way Charlie was always talking about her (and if he wasn't talking about her he was thinking about her), he knew better than to come between the two of them. Introductions could wait until after they'd finished expressing how much they loved each other. So as to not appear to be staring at them, he turned his attention elsewhere.
Then the door opened again, and Alex came in, looking quite ready for their little "party." He'd only ever seen her with blond hair before, but he thought she looked just as incredible being red. He stayed where he was though, waiting for her to come over to him. It was incredibly hard not to just run over there and throw his arms around her, but he managed. When finally she came over to him and kissed him, he smiled again. You look beautiful. He said, simply speaking his mind. You stopped by to see King I see. He added with a slight laugh. There were quite a few white hairs stuck to her black and gray sweatshirt, and he knew the culprit was his giant teddy bear of a horse, King's Last Stand.

Chuck giggled as he looked around. He was a spitting image of Hayley, as they all said. He had her distinguished mouth, and Hayley’s nose. Though he had Josh’s skin and everything else. Hayley tried not to mention Josh in front of him, because he didn’t need to know about Hayley’s past relationships. Josh was Hayley’s decoy, anyway. She didn’t want his son turning into a man whore, and using people for sex and nothing else. Even though Hayley did it, didn’t mean anyone else had too especially her own son. Hayley saw Alex, and waved. She just met her, and wasn’t to concerned about talking to her yet, she wanted to be with Charlie and then she would make some friends.
Hayley kissed his lips again, but was having a difficult time do to Chucks attention seeking. His real name was Charlie. Hayley had named Chuck that before they met, and sure it scared Hayley a little. For her own reasons she’d got used to calling him Chuck. Hayley wasn’t sure why the name chuck, but it was very cute to Hayley. Chuck looked up at Charlie. “Are you da-da”? He asked, looking confused. Hayley wasn’t planning on being with anyone else, and would go though hell if she did. Hayley hoped Charlie new this. She honestly did.
Hayley looked up at the ceiling before turning her attention back to the little boy and ‘her world’. Chuck clapped and nodded trying to pull Charlie into playing monster trucks. “Chuck’s going to watch a horsey movie with mommy. Can it wait?” Hayley asked him sweetly. Chuck gave Hayley a funny look, as Hayley broke out laughing. It looked like he said what the hell, and it was great. Charlie sat down on the blanket and picked up a toy. Hayley tried pulling Charlie to a couch.

She smiled and looked up innocently as Anthony accused her of stopping to see King. It was true she had. She couldn't help it they both just looked at her with puppy dog eyes. Well King did anyway Loco didn't know the meaning of puppy dog eyes. His eyes were always so deep and meaningful holding a little secret behind them. But that inticed her even more. She was attracted to him mainly because of that little glint of susicious horse in him. She loved that of course it made him even more of a handful then anyone else would enjoy but she put up with him nontheless. And King well he was a completely different story he was her teddy bear she loved him for totally different reasons then she loved Loco. He, since the accident, was a little love bug. She felt they had really bonded since she had taken care of him while Anthony was in the hospital. She loved his big white face and his precious eyes. She took every chance she could to visit with him. She missed feeding him and grooming him everyday. Plus walking him around to keep him fit for the track when Anthony got back.
"yeah i did, I couldn't help myself." She smiled bashfully as a few strands of her newly red hair fell in her face. She loved being around Anthony sure he was pretty much the only one she knew besides Alessandra, who was staying with her, but now she knew Charlie and Hayley and Chuck. Sort of. She smiled at how cute Chuck was a let out a small giggle as he looked up at Hayley you could tell she was his mom there was no doubt about it. Alex always loved kids she was usually found around one. Escpecially little boys. She was very much a little boy at heart. She could be found playing in the mud with a dinasaur in hand with a little boy beside her. But not lately, lately she was with Anthony or Loco or both. They were her life now and forever.
She dreamed of having a house full of boys but was planning an adopting that way she didn't have to take the chance of getting a girl. She couldn't stand the prissyness of girls. She was definatly a mom to a boy. But she didn't think of starting a family hardly ever. Her whole life all she thought about was making something of herself in the business world. She did that and was now going after her second dream...Racing. Once she has that down maybe just maybe marrage but it definatly wasn't in the planning book. Looking at Hayley being a mom at such a young age made her happy she waited not that she judged hayley. From what she was seeing Hayley was a great mom she was taking good care of her son. She laughed as Chuck asumed Charlie was dad. It was so cute and innocent it tugged at Alex's heart.
The evening was a change of pace. It was a nice get away from work. She hadn't done anything like this before and any chance to get away from working all night long she was gunna take. Plus it was a chance to meet Hayley and to be with Anthony. And anything that had to do with him she would do. She loved him and loved to be with him as much as she could wether it seemed clingy or not. She hugged Anthony close as she watched how Hayley was around Charlie and chuck. But then she moved over to the sofa and sat down. She was a bit tired from the long days events and needed to sit. She was sleepy just sore her shoulder was acting up again and she felt it would be better for it it sit and chill. She loved the movie Flicka and it had been a while since she had seen it. She felt like just in watching it with them and the whole idea that she had bonded with Hayley already. A start to a long lasting friendship? she only hoped.

Charlie smiled, and laughed slightly at the look Chuck gave Hayley. God he just loved Hayley so much, he couldn't be around her and think about anything else. He just always wanted to throw his arms around her and hold her close to him, he always wanted her to be at his side, he always wanted to be able to turn his head, have her there, and kiss her. He restrained himself though, he had to for their sake, he had to. He knew Hayley's habit of luring men into her bed just for the sake of having sex with them. He had to keep himself restrained so that their relationship wouldn't become another one of those. He let her lead the way to a couch, completely in her control. Having been a cop, he was used to being the one to take the lead, being in control, but with Hayley, things were different. He was fine with her taking the initiative and deciding where they would go. He settled himself down onto the couch with Hayley beside him. He could honestly say he'd never seen this movie before...and he wasn't exactly looking forward to it. He wasn't upset about it though, he would take any excuse he could get to spend time with Hayley, even if it meant he had to watch some chick flick movie. In their conversation earlier...the two girls had sort of put together a sleep over type thing, and Charlie wasn't really sure if that was at his house or here...he wasn't even sure if it was "legal" for them to stay here overnight. Still, which ever it was, it worked for him. Sure it could be a bit awkward if it was here, considering there were two couples and a kid, and the only two who really knew each other were Charlie and Anthony. Still though, they could enjoy it if that was what they were doing. Like I said, either location, Charlie was fine with. As the two of them settled onto the couch, Charlie put his arm around Hayley's slim shoulders, holding her body close to his. He wasn't really sure what to say, so he just kept silent. Besides, sometimes silence said more than words ever could. He was slightly nervous for what seemed like an unknown reason, though he and Anthony knew exactly what it was. Charlie had it planned to propose to Hayley in a few days, and that was more than enough to rattle him a bit. There wasn't a whole lot that could, but he was honestly afraid that Hayley wouldn't want that sort of commitment and would say no. Then he'd lose her, and that would kill him. -------------------------------------------------------------- Anthony smiled and shook his head at Alex, she was so into horses, her life revolved around them. You're hopeless. He said, though he knew he was too. He and Alex were so alike it was quite interesting. The odds of the two of them meeting and hitting it off as quickly as they did weren't very high, but he didn't care...he knew he loved Alex and that was all that mattered. He moved over and settled himself onto the couch beside Alex, putting the two girls in the middle of the seat, and the two guys on the end. Girls were more into the whole cuddling and lets sit by each other thing, and he figured that Hayley and Alex would want to do so as well. Besides, it would probably be a bit awkward if he sat next to Hayley, considering he didn't even know her really. Besides, Hayley and Alex were the ones who wanted to do this, so they probably would like to get to know each other a bit better tonight. So he and Charlie would be the "bookends" for the night. [Finally done...sorry so long ]
