Hayley grabbed Chuck and closed her laptop. She thanked Charlie for the ride, as Hayley and the kid headed out of the death trap. She wasn’t sure why Hayley hadn’t moved yet, but she was going to after this. Hayley couldn’t live in this piece of trash anymore, not with a kid. Hayley offered to get his booster seat, but she decided just to hold him. And it was ok, just this once. Hayley looked like a mess, with her hair left un combed and nothing but a white T-Shit and blue plaid boxers [Stolen from Charlie]. She didn’t care, and hoped into the car willingly with her son.
The last time she had been in a police are, was couple of weeks ago. Hayley let the flashback run through her mind.
Hayley was another drugs get together down town. There were maybe, seven people here? Hayley didn’t really know any of the but her dealer, who had been all over Hayley. Hayley told him to stop and she had a boyfriend, he congratulated her. You know what, drug dealers who so respectful these days. Hayley patted him on the back, and let him inject the heroine in her thigh. “Last drug party you told a man you weren’t fond of needles.” He said cuorisly as he watched her fall to the floor. Hayley rubbed her eyes. That wasn’t heroin. She felt a different spring to it. Hayley immediately snapped. “What the hell was it?” She said trying to stand up. “PCP and heroine.” He laughed. She was going to be the psycho one again, oh lovely.
Then everybody started to scatter, and suddenly she saw flashes of blue and red. Hayley tried to run, but before she could scream a police had had her handcuffed. “What’s your name”? He asked harshly. “Hayley Mathews.” He laughed, remembering the girl. “Still at it?” He threw her into the cop car. Hayley was of course balling and screaming. “I love you Charlie, please let me go. I have a boyfriend, I have a son.. “ He begged. When they finally got to the jail, she heard few inmates snicker. “Look how short she is.” One said. “Oh my god, it’s carrot top” they teased. She was thrown into a cell, with that looked like a gorilla. The girl pushed Hayley up against the bench, and smacked her in the face. “Your sleeping on the floor, I want both beds” Hayley ran up to the bar screaming. She was high, she wanted Charlie.
She hoped out of the car, with chuck in hand. The officer suggested they wait for the others, and that’s just what they did.

Marco parked the black corvette, jumping out after he turned the beautiful machine off. His bright green catlike eyes spotted hayley almost instantly, and she was holding the baby. It was comforting. He was glad his friend was away from that lunatic, and relieved he didnt ever have to talk to that psycho again. He walked up to her, breathing a sigh of relief, sweeping his black, shortly cut hair from his rather tan face. But you couldnt tell how tan he was, as it was night. he smiled warmly as he was near her. Aw, Hay, im glad youre alright... He said, probably speaking for the both of them. He wanted to give her a comforting hug, but he hesitated, as that would probably lead to problems. Better to let her hug him first.
SO he just stood there next to her, watching for anyone else, and waiting for someone in particular. Cat eyes wandered to the baby, and he let out a beaming grin at the boy, before the eyes wandered up and down hailey. She was a girl, of course Marco's eyes would be wandering. He sighed. Rough night...

Rubber tires jerked to a stop in the parking lot, and Mike rolled up his window. He wasn't fond of driving at night, but if there was one thing he did enjoy, it was the silence of the world, even with the windows down. He climbed hastily from the car, the silver pontiac solstice he had always secretly lusted for, eyes flitting around the parking lot for something, anything really, as his paranoia got the best of him. He turned and walked, rather briskly mind you, into the station, hoping it wouldn't be too hard to find the people he was looking for.
He rubbed his eyes tiredly as he paused in the doorway before looking up and around. Bingo. That hair couldn't be mistaken; and if the child in her hands and... Marco? Mike paused for a second, surprised that the man had gotten here before him, before stepping towards them. He wanted to hug Hayley, but barely felt comfortable in this situation, his hands finding the edges of his gray, plaid pajama pants and fiddling with them. Nice to finally meet you, Hayley.
[/color][/b] he greeted rather quietly, before eyes flickered over to the other, giving him a curt nod, Marco.[/color] he added simply - politely. After that, he was basically lost. He stepped closer to the wall, to get out of a officer's way and let out a breath he hadn't realized he had been holding.[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

It hadn't taken Charlie long to get to the station, about 15 minutes at the most. And if you were wondering, no, he didn't speed. He was an ex-cop, there was no way he would be speeding. His house was just close to the station. When he'd worked there, he'd been a full time as well as on call officer, meaning that they could call him out at any time of day when he wasn't working and he would have to get down there quickly. This being true, he'd chosen a house close by so as to avoid having to drive a long ways when he was needed. It was a smart plan really, and had worked out quite well for him, even though he was pretty young to be owning a full house. But what could he say? The government pays well.
Anyway, none of the others had been there, so he'd parked the black pickup, and gone in. The look on the face of that kid he'd about killed last week was priceless. At first it was a bit of shock, but then returned to that smug little smirk that practically shouted to the world, I'm going to say something that I think is smart! Unfortunately for him, Charlie was in a really bad mood at the moment. Fortunately for him though, all of Charlie's negative energy was focused on the man would would be walking through that door shortly in handcuffs.
Back for another druggie girlfriend? The young officer very foolishly asked, What happened to the last one? Charlie heard each and every word he said, and it was more of an embarrassment for the kid. If he thought that was a clever insult...well...someone needed to go back to grade school. He said nothing in reply, but continued waiting patiently, for the arrival of his future wife, the other guys from the conversation, and the man he was very seriously considering killing. Charlie wasn't one to hand out idle threats like a grandma on Halloween hands out candy. When he told someone he was going to kill them, he was pretty darn serious about it.

Hayley spotted a boy, as did Chuck. Hayley set Chuck down and held his hand as she smiled up at Marco. She scanned him down, smirking slightly. “I’m guessing, Marco?’ She asked. Ok, the Tennessee girl had a heavy accent, but it was cute right? Charlie looked at Marco and gave out a happy squeal. Hayley laughed a bit as Chuck smiled, and pointed at Marco’s jeans. Chuck wasn’t wearing anything to “emo” or punk rock, but he’d just been sleeping, and for a kid who came from a druggie mother and had a psycho on him, he seemed alright.. “Awww, thank you. I was so flippin scared man.” Hayley said with a worried looked on her face She couldn’t help put glance at the ring, and smile back at Chuck. Hayley gave him a friendly hug, smiling up at him.
Chuck laughed when Marco grinned. “Of course” Hayley replied to him, sighing. It was a bit awkward, Hayley had to admit. Hayley hugged Mike. She didn’t think Charlie would mind, it was just a friendly hug. Hayley slipped off of him quickly, in case Charlie did mind. Hayley nodded at mike, “Thanks. You too.” Hayley said blushing. They both were really cute, and Hyaley wanted to contain herself from flirting, which was hard to do. When Hayley spotted Charlie, she called over to him, and then ran to give him a kiss practically jumping onto him. She didn’t think he would be in to good of a mood, but anything was worth a shot.
