EVAN MCKINNON
Evan's eighteen and just come over from Scotland. He's a perfectly nice young man making his living as a groom. He doesn't live extraveggantly and spends a lot of time playing his guitar at the stables and he's always got his dog with him. He has two horses, a colt called Serratte who he's trying to break in and Serattes mother, Zyay. He doesn't do a great deal as it goes, he's just Evan, although he does tend to spend his time with his dog as well, always has his puppy with him.
ROBBIE O'MARA
Robbie's a local mounted policeman, even if he is from Ireland, at twenty-four. He's an ex-marine, but you wouldn't really think it to look at him. He's seen a lot around the stables, but usually at strange hours of the morning and evening when he's coming off shift. He's amiable as policemen go, he's not withdrawn, he's talkative, cheerful, easy-going. He's laid back and spends his time doing his job or around the stable yard with his police horse, Ash.
MEREDITH FFOARDE
Meri is actually Robbie's younger sister, being only twenty-one. She was married and took her husband's name but they were divorced because he was more or less just a douche. She's moved in with Robbie for a while and is more or less living off her husbands divorce money, which there's quite a lot of. She has a Paso stallion who she rides out, he's a show off and a general all-rounder. She spends a lot of time at the stable or at home cooking, she's a budding chef. She's can seem, at first, a little forward but he's just been brought up to be confident.
