This first thing most notice about Alex is his bright hazel eyes, although some call them blue and others call them green. His light brown hair resembles a honey blond color, hanging loosely just above his eyes and curling at the tips. If you look closely, you'll see light freckles sprinkled lightly over his nose, but they are more visible when he's been out in the sun.
He is quite strong, mostly from surfing, as he was born in California. His muscles are well toned and his skin is fairly tanned. His smile is quite charming, and certainly has a boyish appeal, stretching across his face and making his cheeks flush with color. Most people don't believe he is 17, as he sometimes looks younger than he really is. Altogether, Alex is considered both cute as well as handsome.

Alex was born in northern California but grew up in a small town in Kentucky where his family had moved when he was very young. There, he picked up his hobby of playing baseball and was quite good, being the star of his little league team. Along with this, he also found an interest in horses, taking riding lessons at a small private stable near the family home. When he was 13, Alex's family moved back to California due to the death of his Aunt and Uncle and he took a break from riding.
Alex began surfing, as well as playing baseball again. His father was recently transferred to Virginia however, and so Alex found himself in the small town where Pinewood is located. Being the new kid in town, Alex knows no one, however is willing to make new friends, even though he does miss California. The up side of this long move is that Alex's parents have decided to let him take riding lessons again at a small stable they found; Pinewood.
Persona;
Personality (2 paragraphs minimum);
Alex is a fun and interesting guy with many hobbies and interests. He is almost always courteous and respectful even though he can be a little immature at times; but who isn't? Alex likes to have fun, but can also be serious if given a responsibility or task. He's quite the typical guy, but at the same time he can be very unique; it's a nice balance.
Alex hates to judge people, and makes many friends wherever he goes; although one would not consider him popular by any means. This teen almost always has a smile on his face and strives to make people happy. He is a great listener, and finds himself consoling others, even if he's feeling down himself. Alex is quite the sweet and understanding guy.
Despite being sweet and caring, Alex will never back down from a fight, and will stand up for his friends in a heartbeat. He can remain level headed if you insult him, but if you threaten one of his buddies, you know you're in for a fight of some sort. This attitude has gotten him into some trouble, but he doesn't like to talk about it. Altogether, Alex is a great guy, hardworking and always willing to please.

Petpeeves; Alex hates snobs and know-it alls, as well as people who blame their horses when in fact the flaw is at their end. One thing Alex can't stand is horse slaughter and animal abuse.
