» There Goes my Hero;
The birth certificate reads Shawna Faith Redwood
But Everyone Calls Me Shawnee
Ive Been Breaking Hearts for 17 years
The say I Am a Groom/Stablehand, Rider
Ive Been Told I Look Like random model
» Rock and Roll, Baby.;
I am so tall 5 foot and 4 inches
And I Weigh 108 pounds
Ive Bee Ninked And Pierced Ears and stud in her nose
They always say I look like Shawna has that look that sends off the voice of a teenage girl. Her face it covered with several small freckles around her nose. Ears are shaped like the average American which fits her earrings nicely. When smiling her lips are beautiful and perfect, as if fit for a model. However when she frowns it makes the whole earth shed in a storm of tears. When she is angry it seems like all the volcanoes in the world just errupted. Her scowl is cute but serious, and her serious face it funny.
Eyes twinkle when she is being serious, which some people think it hilarious. Lips are curved in a small smile that she doesn't even realize that she is doing. Lastly her ears are twitching, her body is shivering a bit. Which is why most people laugh when she is being serious.Her curves aren't very full. Hips don't jab out like most teenagers who want a hot date, hers are very narrow like a boy. Her mother raised her in pink dresses and tried to take the boy out of her but it never helped. Her breasts aren't at all full so she wears padded bras when going out in public. At horseshows she'll leave them behind and just wear her regular show outfit.
Legs are nice and muscular, ecspecially her thighs which she needs to control her horse. Other than that she is double jointed and did gymnastics since she was five years old which has put her in such good shape. Shawna's hair is a nice brunette color, with some blond strips in the summer and spring. Eyes twinkle in their beautiful tinting, and her cheeks are usually full and somewhat flushed in a pink coloring. Her hair is brunette which is far different from her parents and her brother, so she thinks she was adopted. Other than that she wears a size seven boot and shoe.
No other facts in her physical appearance are noticed, but on the inside diabetes has been eating out of her hands. Her mother was diagnosed with cancer but doesn't really affect Shawna. She has diabetes and is one beautiful teenage girl.
This Is What Makes Me Stand Out She has a cute birthmark on her back left shoulder, a tan mark, that looks like a odd shaped heart. Her mother called it the love mark and called her the soon to be girl in school that will get the guys. Also, she has a scar down her right arm that starts near the elbow. It is about four inches long and is from a car accident.
» Chances Taken, Hope Embraced;
I Adore horses, boys, reading, running, gymnastics, games, friends, writing, playing games, swimming, eating, people, kissing, touching.
I Abhor big cities, obnoxious people, jerks, preps, girls who think they aren't skinny enough, being unconfortable
I Rock running, riding, reading, gymnastics, making enemies
I Suck swimming, card games, eating vegetables, making friends
I Do twitch my eye at horse shows, talking to Juniper and Rocky before a horse show [like a pep talk], also i try to avoide kissing a boy unless i super dooper like him
I Want to make it to the Olympics when i get older, calm Juniper down, make Rocky a super star
I Fear heights in jumping
I Shut up having diabetes and also about Juniper's past
I am Spunky, is one way Shawna's parents always described her as. Her hair was always put up in some design, rarely ever down to show boredom. Spunky because she runs out into her parents apple orchards and eats the apples while singing with her dog, Scooby. Energetic because she finds the energy to play at least four sports in her school years and two during her summer time. She takes her dog and her horse jogging for an hour each down down and up down and up and repetively down her parent's long driveway every day. Just to keep them all in shape, however Scooby drops out half way down the driveway. Juniper always wants to gallop the entire thing.
Sadness isn't something that Shawna likes to do but recently she had been crying when at home. Her mother diagnosed with cancer put her in her room and out of school for two weeks. After that her heart learned to with stand it and she became a tough cookie and helped her mom more than before. Shawna usually has a really sad face and you can tell she's going to cry about an hour before it really happens. Being mad also is something that is rare to occur yet it does and it defidently isn't something she likes. So no matter what she always tries to hold it back and release it in her work later on, usually her riding where she has to have a strong hold of her horse.
Normal, is a word that no one has ever used to describe this young lady. Usually other words like enthusiastic or crazy fit her personality. Yet recently she has been pretty down to earth and quiet which is very abnormal. Adding another horse to her training schedule out of the ten she already had each day has been pulling her down lately. Yet going to a new place for a while with one horse will probably rise her entire attitude all over again. Being happy is well, what Shawna does best at.

I Share My Dna With Derek Redwood turned twenty-one this year and began drinking, with no problem. He works at a local pet shop and on weekdays he works at a crime lab as a full time student.
I Come From Lexington, Kentucky
But I Live Here Now West Virginia
This Is Who I was Born at a Lexington hospital to a twenty-five year old Ida Redwood. Who had a four year old son with her husband, Jack Redwood. Bringing home the baby girl, whom was wrapped in a beautiful pink blanket was introduced to horses the next day. Her family had settled on a four hundred acre barn that was divided into four seperate placed. One was the main barn where their house was and so were horses in training. Another was about twenty miles away for broodmares and stallion, lastly he other who were for lease and they both had fifty acres each. Shawna had a miniature horse when she was born, the little horse wasn't the first thing she had rode. Her father had her in the saddle with him on top of a five year old thoroughbred that had just come off the track. A stupid idea? Well yes it was but that was how Shawna fell in love with the racehorses and such.
Five years past and her brother had been in school a while, he rode western with his father every day on his Quarter Horse mare. Snowflake was an albino Quarter Horse and purebred, she had been born on the ranch from what everyone knew about twenty years ago. Shawna had begun lessons with her aunt Jill on her miniature horse and was on the longe line. On her seventh birthday she was diagnoised with diabetes when she lost twenty pounds in less than a month, her parents thought a large deal of it. She had grown out of the little pinto mare who was in her thirties and retired to the pasture. Her next horse was a crossbred, named Popsicle. Bought for a cheap price at an auction he was chestnut with white flakes on his rump and his belly, with four white stockings, a blaze, and a NHR brand on his side. He was the perfect gelding for her next few years.
Beginning jumping and hunters at age eight she was flying over the fences with a green horse but it didn't make her scared. She took several good falls on the cross-country once and even in the jumping course with the gelding. In a horseshow at age nine she had taken a spill and almost was crushed by the gelding, if he had even dared jumped the jump he would have killed her but he stood still. Looked at her and nudged her to see if she was okay, Shawna had blamed herself and got back on the gelding that night for a lead line lesson.
Again two years passed and she and Popsicle were flying over fences, they just seemed to grow and grow. She remembered how one day the fences were about an inch off the ground and how now they were at almost three feet. Suddenly the week after Christmas, Popsicle was found dead in his paddock from colic. It had just came up on him, his feed and such had been watched very strictly. Shawna had cried for two whole months even while taking lessons still she cried when in her lesson.
Age thirteen she began training horses both on the track and off. Yet she still couldn't get the hold of owning her own horse yet, it had been two years but it was always hard. Riding retired horses on the track was practice until she receieved the task to ride a green three year old colt. He was a dream ride but hard to handle so she began to train herself in weights. Other than that she had gained permission to be the colt's full excercise rider, one day was embarassing when she took a hard fall off the horse the week after his third race.
That was also the year she had bought her brother concert tickets, they went immediately by sneaking out on a school night. On their way home a truck hit the passenger side, almost killing Shawna. Wounds covered her face, and well the rest of her body. One was deep from a piece of glass that cut her arm badly. Over six months and also through her birthday she recovered and then took eight months of physical therapy before she began riding. By then she was fourteen, and that dream colt of hers had been injured, retired, and sold. He was gone and so was her dream.
Riding, training, going through school she graduated early as a sixteen year old in high school. Well that was the year she receieved her birthday present, a five year old thoroughbred morgan mare named Juniper. The mare was a reck when Shawna had gotten her, trained in dressage her abusive owner had entered her in eventing. No jumping training at all, he whipped her all the way through jumping classes. She tossed him so he beat her up until she wasn't good at anything so he sold her. Shawna's brother picked out the mare and told their parents and the mare was her new project. By lucky seventeen the mare was finished and jumping about three feet but was quick. Around the same time that year her father had collected a gelding named Rocky the week before she left, and he was her new horse as well.
By then her parents had decided to send her to a new barn called Pinewood.
This Is Who I am Shawna's brother bought a thoroughbred morgan mare about a year ago and has made steady progress with her. In the past four months she has been working over twenty horses a day and helping her father and mother sell them for a profit. The week before she came to West Virginia her father gave her a quarter horse gelding named Rocky.

I Am Awesome Double checking the brown leather saddle she made sure that it was deficiently the right fit. New tack had been purchased for the Dutch Warmblood gelding because it was his first horse show in the United States. The week before she had bought a close contact saddle along with a bridle and a martingale, she already had a saddle pad. Her name was called for the course and she took off the rope halter and tossed it in the trailer. Putting her foot in the stirrup she swung herself into the seat and smiled. Decorated in a fitted white saddle pad, a snaffle bit in his mouth, matching brown saddle and bridle and then his standing martingale. He looks ready to be a champion in the arena. Alex's mane had been pulled and braided, as well as his tail which made him look handsome.
Lucy was dressed in a pair of beige breeches, a white show shirt, and a hunter green hunt coat, with her black hard hat to seal the deal. Rubbing the golden horseshoe that was on the side of her trailer she shifted her weight and walked to the arena. As they opened the gate she kept a happy smile on her face. She had dropped out of the walk, trot, canter class because there were to many horses entered and she didn't want Alex spooked. "Let's show them how good you are boy." Stroking his neck she set off at a trot past the first jump. Giving a short half halt she rounded the corner and moved her leg slightly behind the girth and he picked up a smooth right lead canter.
Approaching the first fence his ears were fully alert and Lucy shoved her heels down farther and pushed them forward so they wouldn't slide backward. Hands inched up his neck and they made it smoothly over the first fence. Giving a half halt after the jump she managed to count five even strides before they glided over the second fence. At the corner she asked the gelding for a smooth right lead transition and and with that guidance he did a smooth flying lead change. Approaching the third jump at a even pacing she whispered that he was being good. Counting down the strides to the fence she gave a half halt two strides before and they slide over the third obstacle.
Going all the way into the corner she decided not to rush things with the gelding in his first show. His ears still alert he kept his eyes straight which was a good thing. Rounding around the first fence they moved slowly for the fourth fence. Giving a small half halt before the jump they glided once more and he got an even four strides, without hesitation, in between the jumps. Giving a little more power in his take off he landed farther from the jump and gave a little over jump on it. However, it was a pre-green hunter course so he was learning while he competed. As they rounded the turn he gave an automatic flying left lead change.
Lucy gave him a little more slack into the firm reins and felt him take it as a good sign. As they headed for the first line, but backward, he noticed they were the same and his muscles let go. Instead of her feeling him tense she stroked his neck a few strides before the jump. As he took off she lost her right stirrup but kept her leg in perfect place, her foot found its place right after the landing. In five steady strides they were flying over the seventh fence and headed deep into the corners. Making perfect turns the pair approached the last jump, the third jump which was now the eight jump. On the landing side she patted his neck and spoke to him. "Good boy." Leaning down she gave him a kiss on his mane and trotted to the exit of the arena.
