Bridgette smiled at Kaine's comment, putting a finger to her chin as if pretending to think. Actually, no. But Gordon here-
she patted the blond taller boy's shoulder He's my cousin. I can do whatever I want with him. she said to him, and was quickly nudged in the side my Gordon. You may be my younger cousin, but I'm still older, and have full access to your phone. Which means. Do anything to me I don't like, I call Marco and tell him your cheating on him. Gordon said to the younger girl threateningly. Bridgette's jaw dropped in astonishment. You wouldn't dare! Marco knows I would NEVER cheat on him. I love him way to much. Plus, there are no others guys out there that I would possibly cheat on him with. Okay, well, maybe one, but I still would never do it. she said to her evil cousin. Gordon just grinned charmingly and laughed. Amanda smiled at Luke appeared behind her. She turned around to face him, wrapping her arms around his neck. I dunno, Lukeybear? she said giggling. she kissed him gently on the lips, loving every minute of it. Bridgette looked at Manda in astonishment. That was the first boy she ahd ever kissed. Or ever had the guts to. Gordon looked back at Kaine. Sorry you had to hear that threat there. I have to get her off my back some time. he said, wrapping his arms around Bridgette's head gently and smiling and not moving as the girl squirmed to get free. Gordon, being the nice man he was sometimes, turned to Sara and smiled at her, nodding his head in a way to say 'hi'. Suddenly, Gordon's gazed turn as a gril approached, ahnds locked with another boy's hands. Obviously, the girl knew Bridgette. SInce she said her name like they were friends. Bridgette smiled gently at the boy Gina had locked hands with. Hey Gina. And nice to meet you Andrew. she said to them. [ooc: Meh. It's okay. :] ][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Ezekiel pulled up to the party Kaine having mentioned something to him. He tugged on his new belt, the green leather embossed with Celtic knot work and dragons. He glanced in the mirror and smoothed out his hair. It lay down today but still flipped out at than ends he had tried to look good but he came out looking a bit confused and worried. Zeek had never been a partier but he felt the need to not be alone tonight. He slunk up the law, having to park a ways off because of the crowd, and slunk into the back. He stared around uneasily like a lost kid in the park.
Eyes focused on the crowd until he saw Kaine. He perked up instantly turning from lost kid into found puppy. He hurried over, dodging bodies. He smiled as he tapped his shoulder an nodded. ”Hay Kaine. I decided you were right I should show up. How’s the party?” he peered about in thought at all the faces feeling a bit over whelmed. His gray green eyes stopped on mikey however a bit taken aback by the attractive guy. He forced his eyes on and scratched his neck. He was a bit surprised at how many attractive people lived in one place, maybe they only invited attractive people to this sort of party. Then again in a horse town it was hard to not have most everyone in shape. Tugging at his shirt he glanced around again, ”want to introduce me to your friends?” he asked hopefully.

Liz smiled when she heard Shakira introduce herself. She was a little surprised that stars as big as Shakira were finding their way over to Pinewood. It really caught her off guard, but with any case Liz replied easily and happily. Nice to meet you too Shakira. Liz was thinking about commenting about her famousness, but she decided it might not be the best idea to retreat from the whole business and then get even more attention like that. It just didn't seem fair.
Liz looked over to the two that approached and then smiled again. The little girl looked extremely fun to be around. Liz wondered though if she only spoke spanish because the girl that was with her called her back over in spanish. She noted that in her head and then turned her attention to Aaron when he started speaking again. Liz smiled at Amelia and then said, Hi Amelia. She knew it wouldn't work, but she'd try anyway. She turned to Amelia and waved some. She soon turned back to the newer girl who joined the group. She smiled and then offered her hand. Hi, I'm Liz. (this is for Lexi if you didn't already guess) She obviously had her hands busy with Amelia, but she thought she'd try a quick gesture.
Liz looked over her shoulder quickly and then saw Tyler. She smiled a little bit and then decided she would have to go over a little bit later. Liz had basically saved Tyler when Drake had beat him up. It was something she didn't normally do...save people, but she just happened to be out that night and found him in the dark alleyway that she had the "problem" with Sonny. She shook Sonny out of her mind and then focused on Tyler. She hadn't talked to him since seeing him at the hospital...just getting out. She wanted to catch up with him, but maybe when he was alone, just to make it a little less awkward. She returned her gaze at the rest of the group and then smiled some.
-------------------------------------------------------
Shakira looked over to see Lexi and Amelia swimming together. She smiled brightly and then heard what Lexi had said in Spanish. She was obviously bored of swimming already. As Lexi walked up, Shakira smiled brightly. They were mutually friends now since they had met for the first time at the concert. Shakira could see why Aaron had such a strong friendship with Lexi. She was an all around sweet and respectful person who was actually helping them out in a lot of ways. The biggest was helping them sneak around town without exposing any true identities. That was to protect Aaron and his 'daughter' Amelia. It was better this way, but it was still hard not wanting to kiss Aaron right now. Temptations were strong, but Shakira had to resist.
Shakira smiled back at Lexi's apparent warmth. Hey Lexi, It's nice to finally see you again too. She looked at Amelia and then waved to her happily. Hola Amelia. Shakira didn't want to exclude anyone who didn't speak her natural language out. So, she didn't go any more in depth with Amelia in conversation. She had met the joyful little girl once and even she couldn't tell what Amelia had said sometimes. It was normally all jumbled together, but she was a little girl learning, the pronunciation would come later. Shakira laughed a little as she saw that Lexi was so out of breath still. She smiled and then said, Well, I guess you have your hands full with this little girl! She smiled at Amelia again and then back at Lexi.
She looked over at Aaron and then sighed. She really wanted to just hold him and wrap her arms around him, like any couple would, but it just wasn't possible. It would look...too bad. She doubted anyone would tip the press, but with Lexi already seemingly in a "relationship" she just couldn't do it. The struggle to control herself was hard, but she did it and concealed it well, something most people probably wouldn't be able to do.
------------------------------------------------------------
Drake looked around the little group and when he heard another voice. He looked that way. He smiled pleasantly. Hi, Alessandra, nice to meet you. He wasn't sure what she had to do with Tyler, but he wasn't going to be nosy and ask about it. He could still sense some tension in the atmosphere, but it had lessened some and it seemed as if Tyler had actually calmed down a little bit. Drake was glad of that because he wouldn't want to be the one to lose his temper and start a fight. That would be the last thing that Drake wanted to do at a social gathering. He didn't want to make such a bad impression on so many people...so quickly. Drake sighed some and then some silence seemed to follow their interesting greetings.
Out of the corner of his eye, he could see that Tyler was still not totally comfortable with him around. Drake really didn't see anyone else he knew though, so it made no sense for him to really do anything else. Drake also saw that Tyler looked somewhat sad or even felt bad about what he did...guilt. Drake would forget about that for now. It wasn't the time to be grieving over something done in the past. The most recent night had gotten out of hand and Drake was truly sorry for it. He had been thinking a while and thought that he might have been able to control it. To control the urge to fight when he was upset and wanting revenge. Well, that obviously didn't turn out that way and this is what it got him.
Drake sighed some and then put on an unreadable emotion. He didn't want anyone seeing that he too was guilt ridden. Both guys made mistakes and both paid for it. Well, Drake not so much, but he'd get something somehow. It was really fair that Tyler got yet another hospital visit and Drake got away without being locked up or anything. Drake returned to the conversation, making all thoughts of his past leave his mind. It wasn't the right place or time to think about anything like that.

BLAIR i long for this mirrored perspective;
Her feet barely touched the forest floor as she ran, crashing nearly head on into her hero's arms. She had everything she'd ever dreamed of, a wonderful guy, a happy ending... a great escape? The music came on, making her feel like she was in a music video. The hero stood, a crowd of backup dancers appearing behind him. He declared in his strong voice as the dancers began their intricate ballet. "I feel like a hero and you are my heroine!"
Blair awoke, Hero/Heroine blasting out of her alarm clock. She smiled toward her fish, Lennon, who was sitting across the room from her in his roomy fish tank. Lennon had some personal issues with her other pet, Paul. Paul hadn't taken that too lightly and had committed fishy suicide by jumping out the tank, his body found by a disappointed Blair. It wasn't like she missed poor Paul, but she had faith in Lennon. Her fishy friend should have had better judgment. She had forgiven the bright orange goldfish a week later, his puckering mouth too hard to resist.
She had recently fought with Mrs. Loveless's cat, Missy, after getting home from a day of trail riding. It seemed the fluffy white cat had it out for her, somehow slipping into her room while she was away. Poor Lennon was gasping on the floor, saved just in time by his owner. Blair had sprayed the cat with water and taken her catnip toy. At least the stupid feline wouldn't be high the next time she was in her room. She chuckled now, seeing the little toy sitting next to Lennon's tank.
She reached behind her, having the feel of the 'off' button on her alarm clock memorized. Blair flicked it off, stopping Martin Johnson in the middle of a word. Sitting up in bed, Blair rubbed her eyes with the backs of her hands, climbing out of bed and throwing on some clothes to go to the barn. She planned to just care for Indie today, maybe walk her around, but no riding. It would be a quick day.
Blair drove quickly back to her house, running inside and almost tripping over her foster mom's cat. At he stables, she had heard a couple talking about a barbecue near Pinewood. After a small moment of contemplation, she had decided to go, despite her eating habits. She had finished up brushing Indie's shiny black coat, running out the barn door to her shiny new red Beetle.
The teenager hurried up to her room, taking a quick shower because of the horsey smell that lingered on her. She dried her hair, straightened it and slipped on a short, silk, orange dress that fit her well. She was looking rather tan lately, and she was glad of it. The casual, sherbet-like orange dress her foster mother had gotten her for her birthday looked good on her. The dress had a v-neck that was sensible in Blair's mind. The front was crossed, a seam circling her at the waist. Above that seam, the dress fit snuggly, but below that seam, the skirt flowed smoothly. It tied comfortably at the back of her neck. She still hadn't brushed her hair, and it hung long and straight, killed by the straightener. Now, she curled the front pieces of her black hair and pulled them back into a bun, letting her bangs hang loosely around her face. She smiled at herself in the mirror, putting the smallest bit of make-up on and placing strings of pearls around her neck. She slipped on white ballet flats and headed out of her room.
She stopped at the kitchen, pulling a white dish out of the fridge and stirring it with a dull, old s p o o n. She had made potato salad at nine o'clock that night and never eaten it. It was vegan, so she didn't worry about it too much. She left the s p o o n in the mixture, covering it up with tinfoil and jogging to her car.
Blair pulled up to where she guessed everyone was supposed to park. There were a lot of cars there, and apparently some people were a little more fortunate than her, money wise at least. She hopped out of her Beetle, grabbing the dish of potato salad. The over-dressed teen walked to what she guessed was the party area thing, seeing all the people mingling there. Blood automatically rushed to her cheeks, pooling below her skin as she walked to the table where all the food was. She looked around, guessing no one else had made potato salad at nine o'clock the previous night and sat it down, far away from the hideous animal carcasses.
Blair looked around, suddenly realizing that she didn't know anyone there. She frowned a bit, still attempting to keep her joyful face on. She stood near the food, turning her back to the crowd, suddenly award of the low v-neck of her dress. She made a low whining noise in her throat, knowing that no one could hear her over the loud music that was forcing her heart the beat along with it's rhythm.

The taller male smiled at the antics of the cousins. It reminded him of how he acted with Tessa. They were kinda related. Well, kinda. He chuckled, Naw, Tess 'n I are exactly the same way.
He lifted his hand to muss up Tessa's hair, not bothering to glance at her. Tessa glared at him for a moment, but when he didn't stop she grabbed his wrist and bit into the side of his hand. Kaine's mouth opened limply, Ahh- ha ha ha... good one there, Cash. Wouldn't want to be civil in public or anything... he muttered, nursing his hand when the black haired female released it. Tessa made a isgusted face, sticking her tongue out, Oh please, it's not like I enjoyed that. I don't know where you're hands have been, when Kaine opened his mouth Tessa slapped his stomach again, and no I don't want to know!
Mikey stood quietly just behind Kaine, his side comfortably resting against the other's back as some silent form of comfort. At least it kept him from having an anxiety attack about all the girls around at the time. His gaze turned away from their group as he tried to further level out his breathing. Blue eyes scanning the crowd as a figure moved through it irregularly. He looked way taller than Mikey, himself; not as tall as Kaine - few were - but definitely less lanky than his dark haired companion. He certainly was attractive, but that wasn't strange in ths town. Attractive people seemed to gravitate here. What he found strange was that said guy was making his way directly towards him. His blue eyes widening at each step the man took towards him until finally he was just a staring, wide eyed mass standing behind Kaine. It took him a moment to realize his gaping and he blushed deeply, turning his confused expression to Kaine when he was adressed.
The misfit turned around as his name was called and his expression brightened at the sight of his friend, Zeek! I'm glad you came, the party's kinda slow but picking up fast. This, he gently pulled Michael out from his hiding place, gentle in his movements. Mikey was still blushing but he stepped forward uncertainly as he was pulled, is Mikey, I do believe I told you about him. Mikey, this is Zeek. He's new here, so he needs some new friends. Kaine treated Michael like a fragile artifact. He was very special to him, and was gently with him, very aware and careful of who he introduced him to. Kaine lifted his gaze to smile at Zeek, gesturing vaguely with his eyebrows. Mikey's cheeks were still stained with a deep blush and he blinked up uncertainly at Zeek, the innocent look totally unintentional as he held out his hand, uhm, Mike, nice to meet you.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Ezekiel blinked as Kaine shoved another guy at him and he smiled trying to behave relaxed. He was ok with big groups but not the best. His ranch had been his home and only on event days, or auction days, had there been more than the day to day staff. His eyes turned down to Mikey and he nodded slowly, “hullo.” He said with a little glance up to Kaine then he looked back to the guy. He was defiantly attractive and it bothered him a bit. He couldn’t stop looking him over at first. His attractive face, cute hair cut, pierced lip. Zeek took a small breath. He had noticed Mikey’s gaping and figured he was not alone in the focus but he felt awkward, old insecurities died hard after all.
He finally seemed to collect himself and held out a hand with a lopsided grin. He needed to be friendly either way. ”Kaine told me a little bit about you. Nice to meet you. All good things I swear.” He nodded a bit as if to emphasize the point. Mikey’s blush did not help his attitude and he shifted a bit trying to think of what to say, ”As he said I am Zeek. Ezekiel Rudner, actually.” He was far from being smooth right now. It was like trying to achieve suave after running it through a cheese grater. He shifted a little again feeling suddenly out of place. He considered bolting for the refreshment table and pretending to be fascinated in the punch so he could sulk but he kept his feet rooted to the floor.
Once mikey either took his hand or declined it he let it fall and looped it into his belt, a nervous habbit and then glanced from Kaine to mikey, ”Um… you like parties?” He smiled trying to hold conversation while on the verge of running away. The guy was pathetic but couldn’t help it. He was a bit afraid of his own thoughts and emotions. He glanced to the girls hoping to find something to spark his interest, as usual, nothing did so his gaze returned to Mikey.

It had taken a minute, but Mike finally managed to reign himself back into the that nearly-emotionless facade what he was oh so good at keeping up and around him at all times. He hardly noticed the few appreciative glances Zeek threw his way, used to them already from girls and guys alike. The only different being that when girls looked at him with lingering glances he started shivering or, lucky to be in the presence of Kaine, would quickly step behind his older companion. He was ashamed of his phobia, so hardly anyone knew about it, which in some cases was bad - the girls were deterred. In the case of Zeek, though, he didn't really mind as much as he normally did.
He swallowed thickly as he took the other's hand, finding it pleasantly warm compared to his chilly skin, before quickly retracting his hand and fiddling with the bracelet on his other arm. He hated having nothing to do with his hands; it made awkward moments even more awkward. The other's nervous attitude didn't go unnoticed, and they comforted him somewhat to know that he wasn't the only one feeling out of place at the moment. So he just glanced around politely, not wanting to end up staring or anything, and took the moment to glance back at Kaine who gave him a warm smile and sidestepped so his side could just barely brush against Mike's back. The motion was more soothing than anyone could have imagined. Mikey took a deep breath before looking back at Zeek, bright eyes watching intently as he listened to every syllable he pronounced.
He tucked his thumbs into his belt loops and rocked back on his heels for lack of anything else to do, To tell the truth, no. The amount of people here is making he nervous.
He stopped himself quickly after that, surprised that he'd told him something like that. He expecially didn't want to blabber on, so he bit his lip instead. He'd have to remember to punch Kaine later and ask him just what he'd told this guy.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Emma stood nervously at the edge of the crowd. She hated parties, absolutely hated them. She had her hair down, she had been trying to put it up, but shortly gave up. She was wearing a knee-length skirt and a tank top. Over the maroon tank, she was wearing her favorite belt- black braided leather with fakish red jewels. She hoped that she looked okay. "Maybe it's not too late to leave..." She thought out loud. She couldn't see anyone that she recognised. That brought her to an important thought. She had hardly met anyone at Pinewood- why would she recognize anybody. She walked into the crowd, her head held high. She had only been to a few parties before- and all of those were birthday parties. Emma had no idea what to do at a party party. There was music booming, but she didn't think once to dance. The only kind of dance that she knew was ballet, and if she did that in the middle of a party, she would be the laugh of the year. She looked down at her feet. Maybe it was time to give up already. Everyone at the party was busy talking with their friends. Emma looked around, her vision blurred by tears, and headed back through the crowd.

BLAIR i long for this mirrored perspective;
Blair frowned, looking around the party. She grabbed a handful of chips. She only saw a few she knew, and those were just people she had seen around. The couple she heard talking weren't there, and apparently neither was Evan. She was about to give up on him, and the party, and leave. As she was walking toward the exit, she noticed the most gorgeous skirt she had ever seen.
The teen pushed through the crowd toward the blond girl who seemed to be leaving. She stopped just behind her and tapped her shoulder, attempting to stop her. Blair moved to stand in front of the girl, Emma Woods, and extended a pale hand toward her. "Hi, I'm Blair Aldridge. You seem to be as bored as I am here." she chuckled a bit and then continued. "Anyway, I noticed your skirt. It's really pretty. Where'd ya get it?"
Blair barely noticed that the girl was rather upset, and her eyes were completely focused on Emma's skirt. Really, she was just bored. She had just realized that she still had a bunch of chips in her hand and popped one into her mouth. She smiled as she chewed, knowing how rude she was being but not really caring too much. She shifted her weight to her left foot and popped another chip into her mouth, making loud crunching noises.
Now that she was talking, something Blair liked to do often, she began to relax. She popped yet another chip, and as the seconds passed by she found herself snack-less. She rubbed her hands together and shifted her weight again. She found her body swaying to the loud music subtly.

Emma jumped when she was tapped on the shoulder. "Hi, I'm Blair Aldridge. You seem to be as bored as I am here. Anyway, I noticed your skirt. It's really pretty. Where'd ya get it?" Emma shook the girl's hand. "I got this when I was living in New York. I just moved here from there. Before that, I lived in Montana." Emma was secretly pleased. She was happy to be meeting someone new. Maybe she wouldn't have to leave the party after all.

Alex ran her fingers through her hair shaking it to get the extra water out and listen to him carefully. She rolled her eyes and shook her head. This had to be one of the stupidest most risky things he'd done. But simple fact was. He wouldn't get caught. They hired a guy who hacked. What else did they expect. Especially if they didn't set boundries. "Good God Austin." But she had to give him props i mean he did manage to do it all without getting caught and now he knew where his family was. Funny what a coincidence that his family just happened to be here. But that was a matter no one could control. He was good at what he did that was for sure. She just wasn't sure she liked the idea of him hacking the goverments info. Course like he always said they didn't tell him not to. So why not? He did have a point but there was sometimes when you had to use your commen sense and this was one of them.
Wow had she really changed that much. She used to be the rebel too the one that would follow him and get into all the trouble back in New York she was the cause of most the trouble. And now she was acting like some old mom who didn't want anything to do with getting introuble. Maybe Austin could bring back her old self. Help her become a little looser. Bring back the good old days. But still keep that adult part. I mean they were getting older and needed to take responsibilities for there actions. She had a house and cars and a job and such that she had to maintain. But it made it easier to have fun and get into trouble seeing how she didn't have kids. or a husband or a family of any sort. But that meant more on her shoulders. If she got into trouble she had no one but herself to blame or cast the blame on. Before her parents took responsibility now it was all her.
And Besides she had a man that wouldn't be to pleased with her if she did something stupid. Though she was sure he would bail her out if she needed it. But she did want to settle down with him. No kids she already had enough kids practically five if you counted Anthony's horses. She had Cadricane, Loco, Yellow Brick road, King, And Doubt. And that was all she needed. Plus she didn't want to become a stay at home mom she liked working. She liked making a living and supporting herself. it was nice. So getting into trouble and being a rebel wasn't exactly something she could affored to do. Though she did miss those days.
She stepped closer to Austin and rubbed her hand in his hair. "It sure is good to have you around again. Even if its because you did something possible illegal that could get you thrown in jail." She pushed his head slightly at the end. But laughed a smiled. "But you know i always have your back." It was true she had his back if anything went south even if she wasn't involved. Friends had to stick up for one another. And it wasn't as if she could be mad at him. He was to likable and always got along with her. And they were close friends. Used to be more but that was in the past. But other then the kissing not much had changed between them. They treated each other just the same. it was good to have him back.
--------------------------------------------------
Lexi smiled at the group she now stood in. Liz introduced her self and she smiled and repeated the name in her head. She had to do that or she would forget... she always forgot. She met far to many people and it was hard to remember names that went with the faces. She reached out her hand. "Hi Liz i'm Lexi." After shaking her hand Aaron slide behind her and placed his arm around her shoulders. She smiled placing her free arm around his waist and kissed him on the cheek. Now she had no feelings for Aaron like that but... In England and spain that what you did kiss on the cheek or at least thats how she was raised. Besides she had to make it look like they were dating. Which was hard considering she saw him like a brother not a boyfriend. But for him and Shakira's sakes she would retend.
Speaking of Shakira. She smiled at the other woman and nodded at her comment of Amelia. "Yes she is quite the handful. But i'm managing." Lexi loved Kids and Amelia was the cutest little girl ever. Infact she would probably spend most the party with Amelia instead of anyone else. Which infact she just got a great idea for Aaron and Shakira. She would offer to babysit so they could go out more. She and Amelia could have some fun with that for sure. And she could take her out and have a good fun time. While the adults get to get away and hae a romantic time. It was funny how it didn't bug Lexi at all that she wasn't seeing anyone. She never felt the need for a relationship. And being in the Olympics... Which speaking of she was pretty sure she hadn't told Aaron that she would be gone for nearly a month to Bejing for the Olympics. She wasn't sure how that would work. But they would figure that out when the time came.
She released Aaron and turned her head to wisper in Amelia's ear. "Tienen usted Hambre?" She asked. Swimming had taken a lot out of her and she knew she was hungry so food sounded good right now. And sitting at a table and just taking it easy for a little while. She was now at the point of training every day and was in the best shape of her whole entire life. But she was exhausted. This was her first day off in months. And she wanted to enjoy it. And hanging out with friends was one heck of a way to enjoy it.
----------------------------------------
Alessandra felt slightly uncomfortable at the silence that surrounded her. Tyler wasn't saying anything so she knew there must be something wrong. And This guy whom just introduced himself as Drake seemed rather well uncomfortable as well. She wasn't sure what to do if she should talk or go somewhere and let them clear it out. She wanted to ask Tyler what had happened between him and drake because obviously there was something there. But she wasn't going to say anything with Drake standing right there. That would be plain rude. So she sat insilence and turned her head to look down at alex. "Oh My Gosh it can't be!" She exclaimed. Why of course it was. It was Austin. She smiled as she watch Alex and him together.
Nope they hadn't changed. Well sure they had but they were still the same friends that they were... Even when they were dating. She wasn't going to say anything because she didn't feel like yelling at him or walking all the way down there so she would wait till they came up to attack him. She turned her attention back to Tyler and Drake. Some party this was. Good grief what did she have to do to get them to loosen up. "Ok Guys. I'm not sure what happened between you two. But this is a party supposed to be fun you know? So for today just forget what happened and have fun. Its the 4th of July day of celebration ok?" She looked back and forth between the two and smiled. She leaned over to Tyler and kissed him on the cheek. "Please?"
Hopefully that would do the trick. And if it didn't... she had nothing. She would get them to loosed up by the time the fireworks went off. Course by then she was hoping to have her time with Tyler. She surprised herself at how she had fallen for him. And Boy did she fall hard. She had herself convinced that she didn't need any boyfriends or husband of anything. But now she was sure she couldn't do it with out his help. With out his support. With out his Love.

The young girl closed the door of her Ford F-450, the boom not quite loud, but still loud enough to be heard from a distance. She strolled along the concrete path, and her eyes gazed upon many unknown faces. She wasn't big on huge crowds, but she could handle them. Even though she wanted to stay away as much as possible. There were so many unknown faces in the place. Way to many for her to even attempt to count. There had to be atleast fifty or seventy-five people at the party, if not more.
The girl wearily took her hance at not being noticed and stepped forward in the crowd of people. Her blond hair fell over her shoulders, and her dark brown eyes scanned the faces. Maybe she could socialize with atleast one group of people. She tried to find a group to atleast visit, catch some names. But none caught her eye. Plus, she didn't want to get caught up in a group of poeple she didn't know.
She looked for possible girlfriends or boyfriends, but she figured there were no girls that would even date her. Most look like attractive girls with a boyfriend. She shook her head. No, no. Remember last party.. she reminded herself. Back when she was 16. When she actually got drunk, and got in to a fight. But also met a nice girl that night. Of course, she didn't remember her. She was drunk for christs sakes.
She went to get her a drink, and got a water from the cooler. She shook the ice off of it, and opened it. She took a sip of the ice cold beverage, and it felt quite refreshing after a long day. The cold water dripped down upon her leg, and she whiped it off quickly, letting out a quiet squeal in the process when the water hit.
She grabbed a couple paper towels, and wrapped it around the bottle to soak up the sweat that dripped from the bottle. She walked away from the area of food and drinks, and watched as everyone chatted once more. She decided to join the group that consisted of a tall black haired boy, a shorter brown ahired boy, a average height black haired girl. Two other girls, one blonde with black streaks and the other black, with a boy beside them with blond hair. It also contained other people, but their features were different.
She walked over to the group, a friendly smile upon her place and fragile fascade. Um. Hi. I-I'm Jamie. the young girl studdered. She wasn't good around crowds, and she kept her distance from them. Or, atleast she tried. it was merely impossible at this party, or any party for that matter.
Words: 473 Comment: Ah.. I'm happy with it. :] Character: Jamie Venuaz. Status: Finished!

Liam ran a hand through his hair, the usual nervous habit. He looked in the rearview mirror. He looked okay. He was wearing his beat up hiking boots, faded and torn jeans, and a T-shirt that was so worn and faded that it looked vintage. He hoped that people wouldn't see that he was poor. Weren't torn clothes "in" after all? He looked at the crowd of people. Through the car, he could he the loud music blaring. He was never much of a party person, but there was food there, and boy, was he hungry. Liam looked in the mirror again. His Irish accent worried him. What would they think of it? Would they find it cute, stupid, funny? He tried to talk in an American accent. Hello there, it's nice to meet you. This music is pretty cool. Liam sounded drunk when he was trying to sound American. He angrily hit his fist against the dashboard. He would have to risk talking to people as the Celt that he was. Just get some food, pretend to like the music, and get out. That's all I have to do. He stepped out of the truck, slamming the door behind him. God, there were so many people there. He walked straight toward the coolers, walking confidently. Don't talk to anyone. He told himself. He pulled a can of cola out of the cooler and drank it thirstily. It hit the spot. Liam sighed happily. Liam looked around, deciding to head into the crowd. He didn't want it to look as if he were just there for the food, even if he was. He shoved his hands in his pockets, trying to look like he were having a good time. Maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to talk to a few people. He didn't know many people at Pinewood, and he was craving the chance to talk to someone again. It seemed, so often, that he was a lone wolf. He ran his fingers thorough his hair again, trying to see if there was anyone that he knew there.

Tessa licked her finger unhappily. Food was gone, must get more. No, not really hungry anymore. Soda. Ah, coke sounded really good right about now. She lifted a brow at her somewhat jerked thought pattern before throwing her hand at Kaine again, who surprisingly caught it and turned his attention to her, yes, madmoselle?
Tessa just looked away distractedly, used to the routine of telling her friend where she was headed so he didn't flip out - which he tended to do when people randomly disappeared from his side. Thirsty. Coke. Be back. Short, to the point; she turned the rest of the way and trudged off through the crowd, pushing random people who stepped into her path gently out of the way before finally reaching the large cooler filled with beverages.
She eyed a few other drinks before settling on the coke she had originally decided on getting and picked it up, paying no mind to the fact that it was freezing. She couldn't feel the temperature anyways. She cracked it open, brilliant blue eyes drifting around as she looked for something to do with her spare time before heading back to the oh-so-entertaining Kaine. It was funny to hear him flirt aimlessly with people, but when they reciprocated she kindly fled the scene. She didn't much like thinking about love, which obviously lead to commitment and settling down and- ugh. She didn't like the thought of being tied down. So as she pondered the fleeting bits of nothing that ran across her mind she looked blindly out at the crowd. It took another moment of sipping her drink to realize that there was a guy standing only a few feet from where she was. She glanced over, finding him more interesting to assess than the huge mob she had been.
He looked older than she did - although that wasn't a surprise, seeing as she was younger than a good portion of her friends - and had blue eyes as well. Not as blue as hers, more like a lighter, dusty blue. His hair was shaggy and slipshod, a common look these days, as was the dark brown color. His chin was pronounced, but not abnormally so, and she blinked as she noticed that his face was utterly foreign to her. The town of Pinewood was generally small, and she knew the faces of a lot of the people here, just not the names. The words came without second thought, You new here? I don't recognise you.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Liam almost jumped at the girl's words. He looked over to see a girl, maybe his age, standing there. Yeah, I'm new here. He said, answering her question almost absentmindedly. He didn't bother trying to use an American accent. He took a moment to study her face, as he usually did with new people. Dark haired, blue eyed, very pretty. He stuck his hands in his pockets, his eyes meeting hers for a moment. Recently moved from Ireland. He said, looking out at the crowd. He ran his hand through his messy hair again. Too many people. His eardrums were going to burst, he thought, the loud music filling his ears. The name's Liam O'Conner. You could call me Will if you're feeling daring, but I usually just prefer Liam. He bit his lower lip. She would probably think that he were weird. He sighed, giving the usual speech that he gave to people he met. I'm not a leprechaun, I don't do jigs, I won't steal your Lucky Charms. A rare smile came to his face, which suprised him. He laughed softly and shook his head, his hair falling over his eyes. He was starting to feel a little more comfortable with the party. If he really managed to make a fool of himself, he could always leave. I don't suppose that you have a name? He asked, raising his eyebrows and taking a sip of Coke. The can was freezing, and he wiped his fingers on his shirt to warm them up.
