Liz
Baby you're all that I want. When you're lying here in my arms I'm finding it hard to believe We're in heaven.
They day was starting to grow cooler as the sun was starting to set. There was a redish orange color cast over the entire farm and it was absolutely beautiful. Liz had ridden just as the sun was starting to set. She hadn't ridden in a while due to all of the crazy things that had happened in her life, but everything seemed to turn out okay no matter what. Cherokee had been really good even though he hadn't been ridden in a while and her relationship with Logan had gotten stronger.
And love is all that I need And I found it there in your heart. It isn't too hard to see We're in heaven.
The first time she had seen him, was in the stable yard and it seemed to be love at first sight. They hit it off, hung out, and here they were unofficially boyfriend and girlfriend. They had gotten close when they hung out so much, but the ordeal with Sonny and being kidnapped really brought they closer. They had had their first true kiss and Liz will never forget it. Even though it was in the presence of Sonny and Hayley, it didn't loose one bit of meaning. Logan had been there to save Liz and that's what he did, but he had showed her that he truly loved her first.
Now, nothing could change what you mean to me. There's a lot that I could say But just hold me now, Cause our love will light the way.
Now, Logan had called her earlier that day and told her that he had a surprise for her. She really wanted him to tell her what it was exactly, but he wouldn't tell and give it away. Liz was slightly frustrated with this, but soon forgot her frustration while riding. Everything that had seemed to go wrong always seemed okay while riding. For Liz, it was truly theraputic and really did help to calm her down. She sat down on her tack box and ate a quick snack before heading for her car to drive home.
Now our dreams are coming true. Through the good times and the bad I'll be standing there by you.
Once she got back to her house, she took a shower and cleaned up. She didn't know where Logan was planning to take her or what he was going to do, but she wanted to look nice. She picked out some classy, but casual clothes and then got herself dressed. She put a few curls in her hair and then went downstairs to wait for Logan to arrive. They had planned for him to pick her up at her house. She was anxious and couldn't sit still...the waiting was the worst thing.

Logan } She's a Saturn with a sunroof With her brown hair a-blowin She's a soft place to land And a good feeling knowing;Liz. She seemed to be the only thing on Logan's mind lately. But really how could she not be? She was practically the girl of his dreams. Smart, caring, funny... not to mention beautiful, inside and out. She seemed to be just what Logan needed when he was down. It was odd really. He could be having the worst day ever, but hearing her voice or picturing her smile somehow made it all better. Logan thought through all they had been through already as he placed the keys into the ignition and started the truck. The image of her laying unconscious in the hospital bed made him stiffen slightly, and of course there was the whole ordeal with Sonny... but he decided not to think of that. What was amazing was that all that had brought them closer together.
She's a warm conversation That I wouldn't miss for nothing She's a fighter when she's mad And she's a lover when she's loving;
Logan let a small smile settle on his distinguished features as the old truck hummed down the darkening country road towards her house. He had planned a small surprise for her tonight, mostly just because he knew it would annoy her. He smirked to himself. It wasn't much, but he hoped she would like it anyway. He wondered what she would look like as he pulled into her street. Beautiful of course, as always. She would look good in anything really. Logan thumbed his fingers on the steering wheel in anticipation as he parked in her driveway and turned off the engine. Running his fingers through his hair, he stepped out and jogged up to the door. Knock, knock, knock. His knuckles rapped gently on the door. And now he waited, stuffing his hands halfway into his pockets casually as he waited.
And she's everything I ever wanted And everything I need I talk about her, I go on and on and on because she's everything to me; ((OOC: sorry tis a little short...))

Liz
I know there's something in the wake of your smile. I get a notion from the look in your eyes, yea. You've built a love but that love falls apart. Your little piece of heaven turns too dark.
Liz couldn't wait for Logan to get to her house. The fact that there was a surprise and he wouldn't tell her what it was was bugging her. She hated it when people told you that they had a surprise, but wouldn't tell you what it was. It seemed cruel to her and not fair, but I guess if he wanted to do something special for her, he could and he would. It would be nice despite the fact that she hated surprises. If it was coming from him she wouldn't mind as much. She would still mind, just not AS much.
Listen to your heart when he's calling for you. Listen to your heart there's nothing else you can do. I don't know where you're going and I don't know why, but listen to your heart before you tell him goodbye.
Her love for Logan and his love for her were mutual. They loved each other and had already been through a lot together. First, it was being clobbered by Santi's horse and then it was the ordeal with Sonny. There was probably more to come, but they would have to deal with it as it came. That was one thing about their relationship. Liz seemed to always be in trouble and no matter how much it was, Logan was always there for her. Even if he was mad at her, he was still somewhat understanding. This was another thing that she liked about him. He was always there for her and he always would be.
Sometimes you wonder if this fight is worthwhile. The precious moments are all lost in the tide, yea. They're swept away and nothing is what is seems, the feeling of belonging to your dreams.
She soon heard the rolling down the driveway of his truck engine. She smiled as she looked out the blinds of her window. She could see his truck steadily coming towards the house. She hurried downstairs and then looked at herself in the mirror quickly. She smiled and then walked towards the door as she heard him knocking. He opened the door and then embrace him in a big hug. Hey Logan. She locked the door and then walked out. She looked at him and then sighed, So, going to tell me where we're going? She was dying to know. He knew she didn't like the waiting part of surprises. She looked at him truthfully, waiting for a reply.
And there are voices that want to be heard. So much to mention but you can't find the words. The scent of magic, the beauty that's been when love was wilder than the wind.

Logan } Looking at you, holding my breath For once in my life I'm scared to death I'm taking a chance letting you inside; Logan couldn’t help but smile as the door opened and Liz almost instantly enveloped him in a warm hug. He chuckled quietly and hugged her back, touching his lips to her hair lovingly. ”Hey” He said back, pulling her away just enough to see her. It was amazing how she seemed to get more beautiful every time he saw her. ”So, going to tell me where we're going?” She asked with a sigh, giving him a sort of puppy-dog look. Logan smirked, obviously amused. ”Nope. Besides, if I told you it wouldn’t be a surprise” He said mysteriously, giving her another smile as he wrapped his arm around her waits and walked with her to the truck. Opening the door, he helped her in and closed it behind her.
I'm feeling alive all over again As deep as the sky, under my skin Like being in love, she says, for the first time; A moment later he was climbing in the drivers seat and starting the engine. ”You ready?” He asked, giving a sideways glance and grin as he placed the truck in drive and started down the road. ”You look great by the way” He said honestly. He didn’t have enough guts to say it aloud, but actually she was breathtaking. A hint of a smile still played on his lips as he kept his eyes on the road, watching her from the corner of his eye. A few minutes later they were pulling into the park. He checked the clock. 7:52. Perfect. The sun was already set and long shadows were forming over the ground. He was glad the sky was clear; that would be needed to accomplish this surprise.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm feeling right Where I belong with you tonight Like being in love can feel for the first time; ”Alright here we are” He said, stepping out of the truck and rushing around to the back to pull out two blankets and a cooler. Closing the tailgate, he moved to he passenger door to help Liz out. Closing the door behind her a smile spread across his face as he took her hand. ”Come on” He said, beginning to jog with her through the small parking lot and into the park. He slowed his pace as they made it to a small path leading to the lake. The pale moon could faintly be seen in the pink and blue sky as the couple slowly walked along the path. Logan shot Liz a sideways glance, wondering how she was going to react. He knew she hated surprises, but she looked so cute when she was curious...
The world that I see inside you Waiting to come to life Waking me up to dreaming Reality in your eyes; ((OOC: eh))

Liz
There used to be a graying tower alone on the sea. You became the light on the dark side of me. Love remained a drug that's the high and not the pill. But did you know, That when it snows, My eyes become large and The light that you shine can be seen.
Liz smiled deeply when she found herself randomly hugging Logan as soon as he greeted her. Couldn't she be a little more, discreet? She shrugged off the thought and then locked the door behind her as she walked closer to Logan. The same smile while she hugged him, made it's appearance again when she found him kissing her hair. Little shocks of excitement rushed through her. Nothing could stop her from smiling brightly. She looked away for a moment as she saw him take a step back and then looked into his eyes. They were so pure and seemed to hold just as much excitement as she felt in her body. It was amazing what love could do to you. One minute you were completely in control of everything and the next you felt like you could be a big pile of jelly, your body willing and ready to give out at any moment.
Baby, I compare you to a kiss from a rose on the grave. Ooh, The more I get of you,
Liz sighed and pouted when she heard his response. Ughhh! You know I hate surprises! She whined at him with another pouty face. The sound of her voice almost surprised her. It sounded so convincing yet so fake. She wanted to break out laughing at the less the convincing attempt to whine and keep it up. She kept a pouty face on and pretended to not make any eye contact with him. She sighed and followed him to the truck. She continued to ignore him for the moment while he got in the driver's side and pulled out of the driveway.
The stranger it feels, yeah. And now that your rose is in bloom. A light hits the gloom on the grave. There is so much a man can tell you, So much he can say.
Liz heard his words before he started to drive off. At the moment, this face was really playing off well. She laughed at herself inside her head and then held the pout as she looked at him and glared somewhat. It was all a game and she was hoping that it came off that way. She thought about something that she could reply with, but everything seemed too, superficial for her liking. A small smiled started to pull at the edges of her lips, but she looked down quickly before pouting back at Logan again. I'm ready for you to tell me what we're doing! She whined with a little bit more conviction this time. Another small smiled played with her lips, but she tried to keep composed. Her focus was every now and then diverted to Logan, but otherwise it was focused on the passing trees and road lines.
I compare you to a kiss from a rose on the grave. Ooh, the more I get of you The stranger it feels, yeah Now that your rose is in bloom. A light hits the gloom on the grave,
As Logan pulled up to the park she looked around curiously. This wasn't exactly what she had in mind, but who knows. A quiet walk in the park would be nice...if that's what they were doing. She sighed with relief and then said, So, you're going to tell me now? A slight hint of excitement was in her voice. She looked around as Logan got somethings from the back of the truck. She looked at him curiously and quite interested. She soon felt him helping her out. His fast pace was a little quick for her, but she caught up easily.
I've been kissed by a rose on the grave, I've been kissed by a rose I've been kissed by a rose on the grave, ...And if I should fall along the way I've been kissed by a rose ...been kissed by a rose on the grave.
Liz continued to follow him and then she soon stopped when they slowed down. She looked up around the sky and noticed the amazing colors of pink from the sun and closing darkness from the moon. It was perfect and seemed that Logan had planned it just right, but he hadn't obviously settled down. So, she was waiting for him to do something next with what he had in his hands. She looked at the lake as the colors were reflected flawlessly and she looked up at him with a wide smile. All whining seemed to have been washed away and she couldn't do anything except stare at the sky for a few moments, just taking the scenery in. She looked up at him again and then leaned against his body, resting her head on his shoulder. As much as I don't want to admit it... she paused to let the words sink it. Thanks for bringing me here. She smiled genuinely at him and then waited once again for him to do something with what he had in his hands...what looked to be some blankets.

Logan }} You're a falling star, You're the get away car. You're the line in the sand when I go too far. You're the swimming pool, on an August day. And you're the perfect thing to say.
Logan was trying his best not to laugh as she played her little pouty game, but every once in a while a small chuckle would escape. She was so adorable when she was pretending to be upset. But there was no way he was giving up any of his surprise. Really it wasn't much, maybe even a little cheesy, but he thought she might like it. So, you're going to tell me now?" He heard her ask and a smile pulled at his lips. He knew she was excited. "Nope" He laughed, continuing down the path.
And you play it coy, but it's kinda cute. Ah, When you smile at me you know exactly what you do. Baby don't pretend, that you don't know it's true. Cause you can see it when I look at you.
"Just a little farther" He said, intertwining his fingers with Liz's and stealing a glance at her as she leaned his head on his shoulder. Man was she beautiful. "As much as I don't want to admit it... Thanks for bringing me here" Logan smiled genuinely. "You're welcome" He said simply, planting another soft kiss on her head. He switched his gaze from Liz to the path in front of them just as they reached the clearing. The sky was glistening off the lake like a mirror and the faint sounds of evening nature floated through the air like music. He smiled.
You're a carousel, you're a wishing well, And you light me up, when you ring my bell. You're a mystery, you're from outer space, You're every minute of my everyday.
"Alright, here we are, but you still have to be patient." He said with a small smirk, dropping her hand and walking over to a flat spot in the grass. Setting down the cooler he spread the large blanket out on the ground and sat down, patting the place next to him and giving Liz a grin. "First we have a pic-nic." He said, opening the cooler and pulling out a few sandwiches, some fruit salad, and some cans of soda. He looked to Liz with a shrug. "It's not much, but hey; I made it all myself if that helps" He chuckled, setting them down and waiting for Liz to join him.
And in this crazy life, and through these crazy times It's you, it's you, You make me sing. You're every line, you're every word, you're everything.

Liz
Liz had started to laugh herself as she hear him laugh. Her game and attempts at that game were somewhat poor. She shrugged and then knew she at least tried to do something and make it work. She felt his fingers wrap around her and then she smiled even more. She continued to follow him down the path. She didn't know what they were doing or where they were going, but now it didn't matter besides that fact that it was a surprise and it bothered her. She was with Logan and that all that mattered, no matter how playfully mad she was at him. She sighed happily and continued to lean against him slightly.
Liz smiled as she looked up to the sky and the pond again. It was more beautiful than anything she had ever seen. She sighed happily and then said, I love you. It was simple, but her voice held a lot of conviction and sincerity. She noticed the sounds around her that made a song of the night, or dusk for that matter. It was very quiet and barely anyone seemed to be roaming around the beautiful park at this time. She was quite surprised that more people weren't out enjoying the beautiful weather and the amazing sunset.
Liz watched him quietly and then finally got what they were doing before he actually said it. When he did say it, she smiled brightly and then sat next to him excitedly. She smiled at him and then wrapped her fingers around his. She laughed a little before saying, I've got to have more patience?! She laughed again and then added, I guess I can do that...for you. She smirked some and then grabbed at one of the sandwiches with her other hand. She opened it and then soon started to eat it. She smiled at his comment and then said, Well, I guess that counts for something or makes up for making this a surprise. She smirked again and then looked out to the sunset again.
The sun was now halfway in the sky and it cast bright red and orange shadows over everything. It was amazing how different everything looked with the red color covering on it. The water looked even more beautiful than it had before. She ate in silence for a few moments before looking back to Logan and smiling deeply. This was definitely the perfect date.

Logan } Girl you got me going Yea I think you know it Oh I’m ready for this ride So come on take my hand Cuz only you, you understand How to kick this feeling into...
Logan looked down at Liz as she said those three simple little words. The only words that could actually make Logan's heart flutter. A small smiled played across his expression. "I love you too" He said softly, his smooth tones pulling a slight drawl as he brought her hand, which he was still holding in his, up to his lips. He would have kissed her, but he just waiting for the right moment...
... Drive all night with me Sing my favorite song and sleep Under the stars on the hood of our car It’s all I’ve ever wanted All I ever wanted was to See you in the pale moon light Just the way ya look tonight;
Logan laughed at her next comment. "Yes more patience" He stated with a chuckle. He was obviously having as much fun with this as she was. "I guess I can do that...for you" Logan smiled. "Why thank you." He stated, taking his own sandwich and slowly beginning to eat. He laughed at her next comment. "You know you love my sandwiches" He joked with a grin.
If life is what you make it Here’s my chance ill take it You know I wanna make you mine I have this picture in my mind You were in it all the time So baby hold on tight
He soon finished and looked up to the sky again. It was a little darker now, a hint of blue instead of red. The sun was completely gone from the horizon, it's faint light beginning to fade and let the moon take over. A few stars were beginning to show up, scattered here and there. Logan smiled to himself. Perfect. He switched his gaze back to Liz. "It's perfect isn't it?" He said quietly, not wanting to disturb the peacefulness of the evening around them.
And drive all night with me Sing my favorite song and sleep Under the stars on the hood of our car It’s all I’ve ever wanted All I ever wanted was to See you in the pale moon light Just the way ya look tonight ((OOC: gah; sorry it's so short! I don't have much muse))

"Excuse me for this, I just want a kiss I just wanna know what it feels like to touch Something so pure, something I'm so sure of What it feels like to stand outside your door. I'm unworthy, I can see you're above me, but I can be lovely, if given the chance.
Liz smiled deeply as Logan had too. She was really and truly in love with Logan. She'd never want to be separated from him and she could never wait to see him. It obviously was a mutual feeling and Liz was happy about that. She really hadn't been in a long relationship before and this wasn't necessarily something she was used to, but it seemed so natural to her. Everything about the evening seemed to be perfect. When she felt him kiss her cheek, she smiled more, but a little blush came on this time. She sighed happily and then kissed his cheek quickly.
Don't move, I wanna remember you just like this, Don't move, it's only a breath or two between our lips.
She looked out over the water. It was no longer glistening in the orange blanket of the sun. It was now a blueish color and accented the color of the water well. As she continued to watch the sky, interested, she saw that a few stars here and there were emerging. Off in the distance, the moon was rising as the soon eventually disappeared into nothingness. She smiled and a grin pulled at the corners of her mouth. You think I love your sandwiches...you don't know that for sure. She laughed a little bit and then looked into his eyes for a moment before taking a bite of her food.
I know why you left, I can't blame you myself, Must be hard living with ghosts in such an empty shell. I tried to warn you, been a mess since you've known me, I can't promise forever, but I'm working on it. If I can't hold you, can I give you a kiss? Can I have a kiss?
She smiled and looked back at the sky as he did. Even more stars had found their way out and started to shine brightly. She heard his words and then smiled. Yes, it's perfect...just like you. She smirked some and then scooted closer to him. She cuddled in his arms and soon turned to face him. She smiled as she looked up into his eyes and then she found her lips trailing along his tenderly. She laughed a little bit when she pulled back and then she kissed him more meaningfully this time. Her lips seemed to have a mind of their own...doing more than she wanted them to, but she was too wrapped up in the moment that she didn't care. This night was perfect just like he had said.

Logan }}
It's undeniable, that we should be together It's unbelievable, how I used to say that I'd fall never It's basis you need to know you know just how I feel And let me show you now that I'm for real If all things in time, time will reveal;
Logan smiled, feeling her gently peck his cheek. Even the little things made Logan fall more and more in love with her. The way she smiled, that little laugh of hers... it all meant everything to him. It was a rather new feeling to him actually. He had only had one other girlfriend in middle school, but it was never like this. Was this what love was? It had to be. He words momentarily broke him from his thoughts. "You think I love your sandwiches...you don't know that for sure" Logan laughed. "Who are you kidding? Their a work of art and you know it" He joked with another chuckle.
One: you're like a dream come true Two: just wanna be with you Three: girl, it's plain to see that you're the only one for me and Four: repeat steps 1 thru 3 Five: make you fall in love with me If ever I believe my work is done Then I start back at one
He watched her now as the ate, taking in her tranquil features as she studied the sky and meeting her eyes as she looked at him to speak. Yes, it's perfect...just like you" Logan chuckled. "I think you got it backwards" He stated quietly, a smile playing across his lips. His arms readily welcomed her as she scooted closer, wrapping themselves around her warmly. He returned her smile as she twisted her position to face him. Chocolate eyes bared intently into hers as he felt her soft lips gently against his. His hand found the back of her head as he kissed back, gently moving his lips with hers. It was perfect, almost like a movie.
It's so incredible the way things work themselves out And unemotional once you know what it's all about And undesirable for us to be apart I never would have made it very far 'Cause you know you hold the keys to me heart 'cause
Logan kept the kiss going for as long as he could, but he didn't want to push her. His thumb stroked her cheek softly as he gently pulled away before kissing her lips softly, once, twice, three quick times more. "I love you" He said quietly, lifting her chin gently with his thumb. "Are you ready for your surprise now?" He asked with a small smirk, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a piece of paper. Unfolding it, he peered up at the sky, scanning across the field of stars before smiling "See that star right there?" He asked finally, pointing it out as he handed her the paper. "I had it named for you" He said, switching his gaze to her to gauge her reaction.
One: you're like a dream come true Two: just wanna be with you Three: girl, it's plain to see that you're the only one for me and Four: repeat steps 1 thru 3 Five: make you fall in love with me If ever I believe my work is done Then I start back at one
"It's all official from the International Star Registry and everything" He said with a little grin, handing her the little certificate. Another smile played on his features as he watched her closely, wondering how she would react. Sure, it wasn't much, but he hoped she liked it...
Say farewell to the darkened night I see the coming of the sun I feel like a little child whose life has just begun You came and breathed new life Into this lonely heart of mine You threw out the lifeline just in the nick of time

Liz
Liz smirked as she thought about the little things that showed affection. Another smile pulled at the edge of her lips when she heard his reply. Her eyes sparkled in the little bit of light left in the night. Her thoughts trailed and soon she was thinking about how perfect Logan was. It was funny though because no one is ever really perfect in the world, but in Liz's world, Logan was the definition of being perfect. They were perfect for each other. They had both been together through the hard times more Liz's dealings than that of Logan's. His voice lingered back into her thoughts again and she was instantly brought back to reality. She laughed a long with him, they were being so playful with each other and definitely not in a bad way. Eh, you never know whether I like works of art or not. She continued to laugh at her somewhat funny comments. The laughter soon subsided into a small grin on her beautiful features.
She flushed slightly as she saw his eyes on her. She knew it wasn't a bad thing that he was practically starting at each other, but she wasn't the most comfortable with it. Her eyes had made contact with his before glancing quickly at the food and then back at him again. His comment once again made her laugh. This time it was more slight, but she still laughed some. Oh you do, do you? I think you're wrong about that, except for the perfect part. She smirked and then took another bite of her sandwich. His opened arms comforted more when she had finally gotten in them. His lips were even more comforting.
She soon felt that his warm hand made it behind her neck. It was just at the base of her neck. She could feel it move position every now and then, but for the most part it just supported her neck as they both got wrapped up in the kiss. Their lips moved in unison once he returned her playful and gentle first kisses. A small smiled played at the corners of her lips as they continued to kiss. Their kissing seemed to go on forever until Logan pulled away slightly. Even then, he seemed reluctant to stop. Her lips moved with his as they stroked her lips once, twice, three times in a row...as if to gradually slow himself and stop kissing her. She didn't want that to happen, but she knew it would eventually.
As she felt his thumb play around her face, she smiled and tried to look down, but couldn't resist not keeping an even, but sincere gaze on him. Her attention soon was shifted as his velvety words broke her concentration. She smiled and then nodded excitedly. She watched curiously as he pulled out some paper. She waited for him to explain what exactly what it was. When his direction turned to the night sky, she also looked up that way. She smiled sincerely when she heard what exactly it was. Awww, thanks. She leaned into him and wrapped her arms around his waist. It wasn't much, but it was perfect. Another question struck her mind. What'd you name it? She tooks the papers from him and stored them in the basket for now. She looked up at the star, gazing at it for a few moments. She then looked back at him and smiled. I love it and I love you. Her lips touched his quickly, but lovingly again. This night couldn't seem to get any better.
