((OOC" omg sorry it's so short! I ish museless xD))
Logan tensed as the dog began to growl, but Charlie seemed to have him in control. He listened as he spoke, feeling his worry growing by the second. He nodded, feeling his eyes dart around restlessly. He couldn't help but worry, and he saw the worry on Charlie's face as well. It seemed as if they were both attempting to keep the other calm, and it wasn't working too well.
"Well that's strange" He said in response to his comment. He tried to stay casual, but anyone could see his brow clouded over in a deep thought. "Maybe we can help each other out and look together?" He suggested. He didn't really want to add "If they're both missing, it must be related"; he knew that they must have both been thinking it.
He didn't really want to call the cops, not yet. For all he knew she could just be taking a walk. But somewhere deep down he knew there was something bigger going on. Hayley and Liz, both missing on the same night? It didn't look good. Still, maybe he was just panicking he told himself. They should look around a bit first before taking drastic measures.

Charlie nodded, that outward calm still making him appear quite composed, though he was fairly certain that Logan could probably tell that he was actually quite concerned. That was one of the good things being a policeman had given him. Even when he was completely and utterly panicked, he could force himself to act rationally and keep himself calm outwardly. It wasn't always that easy to do, especially now that the problem was involving Hayley. Charlie had spoken a good friend of his about making the decision, taking the leap, committing to her, and he was planning on doing so. That was probably why he was so worried, if something happened to Hayley before he asked her, he'd never forgive himself for putting it off for so long.
Probably a good idea. He said in response, his voice still calm and reserved. Jigsaw had since given up on not trusting Logan. If this guy was a threat, Charlie wouldn't just be standing there talking to him. He was a smart dog, and Charlie was grateful of that. If he hadn't been a smart dog, he'd probably have mauled Logan by now, and that would not have been the ending to the night that Charlie was hoping for. He wanted to find Hayley, not send some guy to the hospital for trying to help.
He knew for certain that they weren't down any of the streets behind him, he'd already checked, thoroughly down each one. He knew they were out here though, this was where Hayley always seemed to go late at night whenever he found her to be not at home. It probably wasn't the best place to go for such a tiny little thing like Hayley when there were prowlers around, but he couldn't really stop her from doing what she wanted. She was an adult woman after all, and she was perfectly capable of doing anything her heart desired.

Hayley looked back at Liz. Why would Liz even be the slightest bit jealous of Hayley? Hayley was a mess, and to Hayley Liz simply was not. Hayley heard Liz call her a scumbag, but had a feeling she didn’t mean it? Hayley grinned and looked back at Sonny, as she continued to touch Hayley in inappropriate ways. Sonny laughed slightly. ”Because, well look at Hayley. She doesn’t look a damn kid. She’s a girl who knows how to have fun, or was, until you corrupted her. Parker corrupted her.” Sonny looked back at Liz, and watched Liz as he squeezed Hayley’s lower area. ”How doest it feel now, that I’m raping your rival. Do you like it? Doesn’t that show you I love you? I could do so much worse. And she hasn’t a clue.” Hayley always screamed when she realized he was sitting on her frail chest, caressing her. Hayley gave Liz a look of disapproval. Why wasn’t she running?
Sonny slapped Hayley when Liz took off, and jumped off of his cousin to run after Liz. Hayley was in so much pain, she had a hard time moving. As soon as Hayley had gotten up, she collapse. Her body couldn’t handle all the pressure, and Hayley began crying. Sonny saw Liz coming back, so he decided to go back to Hayley. She looked so helpless, and sonny loved it.
Hayley looked at Liz, as did Sonny slightly confused. Something was fishy, to the both of them. Sonny loved her cry’s of pain, but wasn’t sure if he loved Hayley’s suffering more. Even though they both where in his heart, they both hurt him in some way.
“Meth is hardcore. That’s why Hayley can’t handle it. The heroine made her anorexic, and her body would die in a second.” Sonny’s laugh echoed through the Ally way. Possibly loud enough to where anyone could hear it. “Hayley isn’t your friend. You hate her.” Sonny didn’t want to by into this. He was to smart. Hayley gave a slight smile. “I figured I would show Hayley her punishment. She had sex with nearly ever guy she saw, and this is her punishment.” Sonny tried to feel sorry, but felt no sorrow.
Sonny ignored what Liz had yelled. “But pain hurts.” Hayley giggled at Sonny’s whiny comment. Was Liz sticking up for her? Hayley almost started crying. She didn’t want to be here. “CHHHAARRRLLIIEEEEEE.” Her voiced echoed just as Sonny’s had. Little girl, big voice.

Liz sat where she had returned and tried not to look at Sonny messing with Hayley. On so many levels, it just wasn't right, especially since they were cousins. Liz rolled her eyes and looked at stuff the other way just listening to the random banter that Sonny was making. Yea, but having fun doesn't always mean going out and getting drunk or high to get laid, genius. Of course Liz was being sarcastic about the genius part...she'd never in her life say that Sonny was ever smart. Liz sighed in torture as she pretty much had to watch the two. It wasn't torture because due to the fact that Liz was "jealous" it was just sick and wrong.
Liz looked at him in disbelief, her brows up and eyes rolling. Why would this show me that you love me? She continued to roll her eyes, something she did often when around stupid guys, such as Sonny. Liz started to think, what if she had gotten away? What if she had left Hayley behind and she did actually die because of drugs or something. Liz thought for a while before putting her hands wearily on her knees that were up in her chest. Liz felt bad for Hayley as she started to cry out. It was so sad to see the both of them like this, but they couldn't do much, with Liz's hands tied up and Hayley... too weak to even try anything.
Liz looked at him evily once again. How could he laugh at a time like this? He truly had no heart and no mind too. This wasn't normal and neither was he. If he even lived through this whole thing, he'd need some help. She glared at him as he mentioned meth. You wouldn't. Her voice was unsure and slightly quivering as she let the words roll off of her tongue. She watched Sonny more than she did Hayley to see what he would do next and predict his next moves. In turn, it might help her get both of them out of there. Liz smirked to herself as his next comment rolled out. She had to play it off and make sure she didn't slip up again. Oh yea, I forgot...I hate that stupid b*tch. Liz looked down before trying to make contact with Hayley once again, letting her know that nothing Liz was saying was true. It was nothing obvious and Liz wanted it that way. Wow, so you actually thinks that she needs punishment from her cousin this way? Liz rolled her eyes and shook her head in total disapproval. Liz laughed, Of course it does, that's why when you resist it and the temptation, you've done more than any other druggie could ever do. Liz shook her head again and soon got up. Her legs were weak and were about to give up, but she ran for dear life again. She winked at Hayley before she left. She ran as far as she could, but her legs gave up near where Hayley and Sonny were. She started crying not know what Sonny would do to her for trying to get away again. Tears flooded her face and she was soon trying to get up again, but her legs felt like jelly. Why wouldn't her stupid body work?

[Hope you guys don't mind if I make up some stuff here Logan hasn't posted since my last post, so I've got nothin to go off of there.] Charlie and Logan started on down the streets, the dim and flickering street lights failing miserably to doing their job of illuminating the night. He was accustomed to the darkness though. As a cop, he'd always been the one to work the night shifts, which he preferred because there was generally more going on at night. After that, he'd basically been one of those night owl people...though he was still up and active during the day. He took Brig out regularly at night, and if he didn't take the horse out, then he took Jigsaw out. That was actually how he'd met Hayley, he'd been walking Jigsaw in the park and he'd found her out there. She'd been cutting herself, but hey, he'd only seen her twice not high or drunk before now, so that didn't seem significant to him. Funny how everything he thought about brought him to some memory about Hayley. He'd only known her a year, but still, it was nearly impossible for him to not think about her. He just loved her that much. He stopped suddenly, noticing that Jigsaw had stopped a few feet back and had taken up that aggressive stance again. He was crouched low to the ground and the hair on his back stood up in a crest. His white teeth were again making an appearance as he raised his hackles and snarled, a deep growl rumbling from within his throat. Charlie knew it wasn't Logan that was making him that way, he'd already figured out that Logan wasn't a bad guy. That was when he heard it. The faint sound of someone sobbing followed by that scream that he knew all too well. The alleyway just ahead that they were nearing, that was where it had come from. For a moment, he stood frozen, unmoving. It was like that scream had stopped his brain from functioning, it no longer sent signals to his body, no longer received them. Finally, he forced himself to move. He would have liked to just take off running towards her, but he was having a hard enough time just walking. He came to the corner that would turn into the alleyway, and stopped short. Liz was there, crying, then there was a man on top of someone...on top of Hayley. His breath caught in his throat, his heart stopped, but his brain started functioning again...too quickly. Ten million thoughts rushed through his head at an incredible rate, so much so that he could hardly decipher a single one. For the first time in his life, he didn't know what to do in a potentially harmful situation. The one thought that he could make out was the one that said "kill him, just shoot him now." Luckily for that guy, Charlie still didn't have a gun, otherwise he would have just planted a bullet in the back of his head right then and there.

Logan [/size] This time, this place Misused, mistakes Too long, too late Who was I to make you wait? Just one chance, just one breath Just in case there's just one left 'Cause you know, you know, you know... - - - - - - - - - - - -
Logan nodded in agreement to Charlie’s comment and they started off. It didn’t take too long for his chocolate optics to adjust to the dim lighting of the empty streets as they slowly made their way through the small town. He restlessly scanned the ominous black streets for any sign of life, feeling the panic well up in him again. It was too quiet and he didn’t like it. Then suddenly there was something being carried on the sharp night air. A familiar sobbing, followed by a shrill scream that sent shivers down his spine. But then his heart skipped a beat as it sank in. It was Liz. Before he knew what he was doing he was running towards the muffled sound of the sobs, or was he? It seemed like the cement turned to quicksand under his feet and he couldn’t run fast enough. The cries seemed to grow louder in his ears, almost to the point where they seemed too loud. He didn’t even stop to see if Charlie had followed him. He didn't care; he just had to get there.
He finally came up on a dark allyway and stopped dead in his tracks as he rounded the small corner. There, crumpled on the cold asphalt sat Liz, sobbing. His heart stopped. He was faintly aware of something happening deeper into the ally, but all else faded in that small instant where he stood there, dumbstruck. He couldn't move. Suddenly his heart lurched to a start once more, hammering in his ears and blocking out all other noise. He forced his legs to work again and in a flash he was on his knees next to her, taking her shaking frame in his arms and desperately trying to sooth her sobs. ”Shhh, shhhh” was all he managed at first, protectively holding her against him with strong arms, unwilling to let her go. ”Liz,” He choked finally, beginning to find his voice again. Then the words poured from his mouth, almost running together. ”I’m here, I’m here. Shhh... are you okay? Tell me you’re okay” He almost pleaded, feeling his throat close up as he began to loose his carefully collected self for once.
He pulled her away just enough to gaze frantically into her scared eyes, gently holding her tear stained face in his hands. In that moment nothing else mattered. For all he knew this could be his last chance to show her how he felt. He let that desperate emotion take over him, and suddenly his lips crashed down against hers, giving it all away. The kiss wasn’t rough, but if it didn’t say what he needed it to say, nothing would. His lips moved against hers with deep emotion, still holding her face in his hands. After a long moment he pulled away, staring into her eyes again. ”I love you Liz” He breathed, brushing the tangled hair from her face. ”God, I love you” He repeated in a whisper as he brought her against his chest again in a tight embrace, breathing her in. Just then his other senses slowly began to come back to him, and he became aware of his surroundings again. He looked confused. Where was Charlie? In fact, where was Hayley? He tore his eyes away from Liz for a moment to look around quickly, searching for any sign of the two... and was there someone else too? What had happened anyway? His mind raced with questions as he tried to que in to what had happened.
- - - - - - - - - - - - I love you, I've loved you all along And I miss you; been far away for far too long I keep dreaming you'll be with me and you'll never go Stop breathing if I don't see you anymore; - - - - - - - - - - - - -
