Alex A small bell rang as Alex walked through the door and stepped into the small Old Fashioned Soda Shoppe. It was the only one of the many places he hadn't visited yet in this small town. He thought he might as well give it a try, and who knew; maybe he would meet some new people. Alex rang his hand through his dirty blonde hair as he sat down on a seat at the counter, his hazel optics scanning the chalk-board menu.
After ordering a small root beer float, he thumbed his fingers lightly on the counter and looked around the room. It was a cute little shop he had to admit. He was really beginning to like this small town. It reminded him slightly on his home town back in Kentucky before they moved to California. His drink came soon and he turned back to the counter. "Thanks" He said, taking it and beginning to sip it down.
The bell rang again and made Alex turn his head towards the door. A light smile, almost smirk, played across his features as a cute girl walked in. He watched her for only a short moment before turning back to his float. If she wanted to talk then it was up to her, so he decided to keep to himself and wait for something interesting to happen. Demi Lovato Demi took a deep breath as she focused her mind, her eyes glued to the road in front of her. She was a bundle of nerves inside of her small, petite, and pretty frame. Demi had just gotten her driver's license two weeks ago, and she was still uptight while driving alone. Her parents were still cautious and often rode with her, but they were on vacation right now and Demi was trusted by them. She gripped the steering wheel tightly, not willing to glance away from the road to turn on some music on the radio built into her red mustang-cobra convertible. It was her sweet sixteen present, and she loved it. But she didn't love it nearly as much as her gorgeous and gentle seven year old white arabian mare Moonlight Minuet, who went by Minnie for short. Demi absolutely adored her beloved horse. She smiled at the rememberance of Minnie grazing in the pasture this morning when she went in the feed her and give her a short warmup workout.
The traffic light changed from red to green and Demi slowly stepped on the gas petal, then sped down the street, her glossy brunette hair flying in the wind behind her. Demi smiled, for once while driving, and turned around the curb. She pulled into the parking lot at the large multiplex which included the hotspots in town such as the mall and the pleasant yet quaint Old Fashioned Soda Shoppe. She parked in an empty slot and rolled up the roof of her car so no one would steal it, then cut the ignition and slid her keys into her black coach purse, sliding out of the car and shutting the door behind her. Hmm the Soda Shoppe sounded like a really good option right now, so Demi strolled towards the shoppe with a smile on her flawless face.
Demi opened the door to the Parlour and heard the entrance bell chime. She stepped in and was instantly hit with the welcoming aroma of ginger, cinnamon, and creme. She smiled and slung her purse over her arm, then scanned the room around her, her optrics settling on a really cute boy who appeared to be smiling, almost smirking, at her. She blushed and looked down, smoothing over her dress which was a strange abstruct and almost leopard-like pattern, with long black and white striped sleeves. It was tight and flattering on her thin body. Her hair was slightly wavy, and large gold heart earrings dangled from her lobes. On her feet was a pair of black flats with little bows at the ends. When she looked back up her warm brown eyes were twinkling, and she admired the cute boy's gorgeous blue eyes. He was very good looking, and Demi was still blushing slightly. She walked over to the counter and smiled at him, then ordered a coke float with vanilla ice cream. She smiled and sipped on the straw, then sat down on the booth seat next to the boy. "Mind if I join you?" she asked hopefully. "I'm Demi" she smiled and held out her hand, her eyes sparking.

x Alex } && lace up your shoes here's how we do; - - - - - - - - - - - Alex smirked again as he noticed her blush slightly, obviously pleased with himself. Still, he was a bit surprised when she sat down next to him, and even more when she spoke. "Mind if I join you?" He smiled politely this time. "Be my guest" he said, keeping his tone casual yet inviting as he turned halfway in his seat to face her. "I'm Demi" She said next, holding her hand out to him. He was glad she outgoing anyway; he liked that in a girl.
He smiled and shook her hand, his blue eyes baring pleasantly into her brown ones. He secretly admired how they seemed to shine in the light... or was it something else? He smiled again. "Nice to meet you Demi, I'm Alex. That's a nice name by the way" He threw in, turning back to his float and shooting her a sideways glance. He decided to play it cool and leave her alone for a moment or so, sitting idly and passing his eyes over the few people who were in the small shoppe before bringing his gaze back to her. "So are you new around here?" He asked, deciding to continue the conversation.
((OOC: ugh, sorry it's so short and crappy... I'm ashamed to post this xD but ah well, at least it's something ^^ hehe))
