Sandy turned herself slightly to face her sister. She wasn't at all surprised Tam had known what she was thinking. At first it was creepy but it was... their normal. She grinned at her twin and pushed back lightly as she joked with her. She shook her head still smiling. Yeah they were different but they were sisters. "Yeah just think of the laughs I'd get by calling him up" Then trying to put on a sincere face she spoke again "But of course it might not be worth it" Winking as she spoke.
Her facade once again held no expression. "What if I don't want to get used to it." She spoke her mind because other wise her twin would just go guessing what she was thinking again. Turning her head she watched the horses. The were still frolicking around but they were much closer than before. As her sister jumped of the fence and went to her horse she did the same. Springing up onto the mare like she was born there. Trotting up slowly to stand by Sun she patted her horse's name. Just like Sun, Singer turned around and glared at Sandy. Laughing she rubbed the horses neck.

Tam shrugged and sighed, “Then you’re going to be miserable for a long time. We’re not going home and you know it as well as I unless the coffee shop flops and then we will be flat broke and have to sell the horses.” She stroked Sun’s back soothingly. She would never let that happen so long as she had breath in her lungs. Sun was her life and she really had no other friends back home. There had been three or four from some of her classes that she had sat with at lunch, but outside her studies, reading, and training she really had no time for a social life, she lived vicariously through sandy.
“I just hate to be here but what can we do honestly? Just drink it in and get used to it. Otherwise you’re going to rub off on me and I will be miserable.” She nudged sun back into a walk holding her mane tightly still but slowly she unwound her fingers just letting sun amble contently her feathered feet rising and falling into the sand and her head drooped as she took her leisurely stroll. She had had her fun and now it was back to wandering about. Tam flipped over so she lay on her back on the mare not bothering to have her change gates or anything as she drapped her arms down for balance. ”Then again it should be nice to be in a place where the cops don’t know you by first name.” she remarked and looked over trying to tease her twin.

Grudgingly she nodded her agreement. If she could get used to being here she would be miserable. Of course she was 18 and could always move whenever she wanted to... No, that was just running away. Sandy's eyes widened at the thought of selling her horse. She'd get several jobs just to keep her horse! She didn't even want Tam to have to get rid of her horse! Gripping the reins fiercely as if someone was going to grab them away from her.
Despite the fact that she manipulated her sister often she never wanted to make her bad moods rub off on her. Contrary to some beliefs she actually loved her family. Using slight leg pressure she let Singer go into a slow walk. Strolling along side Sun. Glancing over she smirked at her twins last statement. "Now where is the fun in that?" She joked.

Tamara winced at the very obvious pain she brought her sister. She fidgeted with her tight fitting tank top, not used to such warm weather as she pondered everything. She wanted to just let sun run. To hang on and where ever they ended up. However sun was no steeplechase horse and was stuck when it came to that sort of behavior. Sun would just as much love to run about the arena in circles as she did to gallop about the pasture, odd horse but a good one tam thought. She sat up slowly, now sitting backwards on sun. Sun didn’t even seem to care as she continued to wander.
Sun was used to stranger things, and for that tam was happy she liked having a horse so relaxed, after a lot of training, that she could do almost anything on her back and never bother her. When Sandy finally spoke she chuckled and looked over contently. ”Why don’t you ride your horse down Main Street and block traffic again, that will get their attention pretty quick. Or run singer in the mall another way to meet the cops of town. Orrr….” she trailed off grinning at her sister as she swung one leg over to sit side saddle looking at her sister. One hand instinctively tangled into the mares mane but years of riding like this gave her wonderful balance on the back of a horse and any slight slip would be quickly corrected.
A puzzled look ran over her features though as she observed her sisters hands on the reins, ”Honestly Sandra if that were a living thing you could have killed it three times by now.” she said calmly and nodded to her hands, ”Don’t you ever get tired of being so hostile to inanimate objects. One day they might gain consciousness and come back for you.” her tease was light and care free as she tried to settle the tense air. No need flustering the already heated air. Their father and this place were two subjects to never approach and she had touched both in the last few minutes, Sandy seemed to be coping alright though and that made it easier.

Sandra wasn't usually emotional. Ever since they moved though she got upset a lot quicker. She felt like kicking herself. Couldn't you at least try to hide your emotions? She yelled at herself in her mind. She didn't like bringing her sisters mood down. Though when she got in trouble that usually did bring her twins mood lower. Solemnly she stared down at the reins in her hands. Trying to keep her mind of the things that she knew would make her angry.
Quizzically Sandy looked over at her twin. She shook her head with amusement. "Honestly is there anything you can't do on that horse?" I mean who heard of sitting backwards while a horse was actually moving!? Sandy wouldn't try it with Singer that's for sure. Her eyes sparkled with liveliness as her sister "suggested" some ways to get peoples attention. Of course she knew her sister was joking around but the thought of riding into the mall on Singer. It was just hilarious! Laughter bubbled from her mouth in a steady stream as if she could actually see Singer "window shopping" in the mall. Wouldn't that spice of this little town.
Grinning she looked over at her sister. Strangely she was sitting side saddle on Sun. What that horse put up with simply amazed Sandy. Loosening her grip on the reins she relaxed. The sun beat down on her back causing her to start sweating though she wasn't working hard at all. "Somehow I doubt they mind" She answered her sister with a playful wink.
Taking one hand of Singer's reins she stretched her arm. Settling quickly back into the saddle before grabbing the other rein with her unoccupied hand. Something she did not need was Singer to go bursting into a run when she didn't have both hands on the reins. Reaching out with one hand she pat the horse's sturdy neck.

Tamara tugged at her own hair with her free hand. It had taken the entire time tam had had the mare to get her too this point and she was glad she had taken the time. It meant she could perform too if she wanted to. It meant that sun wouldn’t spook if she randomly stood up on her back to announce something or just to ride like that for a few moments. Things like that were why she had a special trick saddle sitting in the barn with the circus trainer and the common place English. It was why most of her money growing up had gone into buying the two special saddles.
She chuckled and shook her head. ”Fly. But if sun had wings I am sure we could do that to isn’t that right girl?” she grinned at the grunt from sun as if to say she was uninterested in the prospect and continued trudging along. Most horses didn’t have the correct temperament for this sort of thing but she had gotten lucky with sun. Sun was laid back and had hardly a high strung bone in her body. Oh she was playful alright but not enough to cause problems when she was being ridden. It made for a nice smooth ride most of the time besides the jostling trot the mare had.
As she glanced over her sister’s face she bit her lower lip. ”Oh god I gave her ideas. How can I ever be forgiven? You know I can’t cover that up right? No amount of sweet talk is going to make mom and dad forget you wandered through Pinewood mall on singer.” she tipped her head hopeing to see some change in her sisters attitude. She watched her sister stretch and snickered. ”Now that’s impressive I remember that filly taking off every time you stretched when you first got her. Seems your making progress too.”

Sometimes Sandy envied her sisters skill with Sun. Sure they were both good riders but Tam knew how to train a horse to be, well, calm... Looking down at Singer she noted that Singer was hardly ever calm. However if someone saw her right now they would think she was the calmest horse in the world, next to Sun of course. Glancing down at her horse again she reaching back with one hand and rubbed her mounts withers. Though she'd love if Singer was calm sometimes she wouldn't trade her for any other horse. Pulling her hand back up to grasp the other reins she switched her gaze to watch her sister.
Laughing she responded to her sisters comment "Is that what everybody dreams of doing?" Of course on a race horse Sandy had to admit sometimes it felt like you were flying. A race horses long ground eating stride sometimes made it feel like you were suspended in the air for seconds at a time, there for resembling flight. There was nothing like that feeling. Not a roller coaster, or even a plane could express how that felt. Only a jockey would know that feeling, which is why it was one of the things she couldn't really talk with her sister about. Well she could tell her about it but she wouldn't fully understand.
A fake evil smile crossed Sandy's features "Yes you did" She said with a mischievous look. Trying to manipulate her face to look like she was thinking really hard she spoke "But don't you think it would be worth it?" She said trying desperately to keep a innocent straight face. At her next comment a smile tugged at her lips. "Yeah some progress, but I still don't trust her fully" Leaning down she gave her horse a firm pat on the neck.
