Sebastian It appears That I’m okay That I moved on When I walked away Sebastian would've chuckled at her as she answered I don't know [/s] But the shakiness in Chey's voice was killing him. His thumb stroked her hand as he held it softly. Sebastian’s heart lurched against as he saw Chey fight back the tears. His jaw set and his body clenched. What had changed in him? Once he caused her to cry more tears than ever before and now he saw an inkling of hot tears and he became defensive… protective? Sebastian breathed deeply, trying to calm himself. Chey choked out some word sweet words. In the flesh he half-answered. He cursed himself silently. Why did he always do that? Why did he always have an answer?[/blockquote] But I’m… Invisibly shaken And quietly breakin’ Desperately takin’ one breath at a time Suddenly a pulse was in his hand, her squeeze traveled up his muscular arm and seemed to tug on his heart strings. Her lipssaid nothing, her tiny smile said everything. Finally Sebastian Kings didn’t have something witty to say. A lop sided grin was all he could manage. His eyes finally twinkled with that love they’d both known so long ago. A slight, almost unnoticeable squeeze was given back to Chey. She was deep in though and for once in his sad existence of a life Sebastian did not feel the need to break the silence, in fact he relished in it. [/blockquote] Beneath this composure I know it’s not over Sebastian sighed blissfully as Chey’s head rested softly on his chest. Her scent intoxicated him, surrounding him by memories of love and passion. His chest rose and fell softly with each breath. He looked down at Chey, an awestruck expression quickly disappeared and he smiled softly. She then spoke I don’t feel well [/s] Sebastian sighed softly and suprisingly didn’t reply. His free hand moved to her soft brown hair. Sebastian stroked her head softly. Poor Baby he murmured almost inaudibly. Seb kissed his thumb and brushed it across her forehead like he always used to do. He wondered if she’d remember. It was a bit of a odd gesture but he knew it had meant something to both of them.[/blockquote] Baby I’m dying cause you can’t be mine But I will never show the toll it’s taken Cause I’m invisibly shaken

Cheyenne The broken clock is a comfort, it helps me sleep tonight Maybe it can stop tomorrow from stealing all my time And I am here still waiting, though I still have my doubts I am damaged at best, like you've already figured out; - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Chey sighed as he stoked her head gently, lovingly. "Poor baby" She barely heard him murmur and the corner of her mouth upturned slightly. Just one of the reasons she had always loved him. She sighed again, just listening to the steady sound of his heartbeat. She could never tell him how comforting that sound was to her. Only a little while ago she thought he was dead. Well, she may have blown it out of proportion, but I suppose that's what love does to people. She found herself scared to loose him; terrified at the thought of him being gone forever. Suddenly the past tense term of 'loved' transformed into present tense. Maybe she could still love him. The thought intrigued her, and the decision that was so simple just a few moments earlier became that much more difficult.
After all this time, had she still not moved on? How could that be? Her brow clouded over at the thought. She was so sure that she loved Parker... Suddenly she felt Sebastian's thumb grace her forehead, just like he had always used to do. Her eyes misted suddenly. It was almost as if things had never changed. Chey turned her head up to look into his hazel optics, melting away her reasoning. In that moment, all was as it should be. Her heart beat pounded in her chest and he breathing quickened slightly. Repositioning herself, she leaned closer to his face, breathing in his scent; his being. All time seemed to stand still, and she was no longer the 19 year old Chey, but rather the young, innocent girl of 17 who had never felt fear nor heartbreak. In that moment, it didn't matter that she couldn't be with him. It didn't matter that Parker might find out. In that moment, Chey's brain shut down, and her heart took over.
She closed the gap between them, and her lips met his sweetly and lovingly, but firmly. It was a kiss of her own instigation; her own choice. Somewhere deep down she knew that that would be significant at some point, somehow. She made it last as long as she could, not wanting to break this sweet time barrier and back into her cold, complicated reality. Her hand stroked the side of his head, her other hand still resting on his chest. Then she pulled away gently, opening her eyes slowly in fear that she had dreamt it. But there he was, as sweet and handsome as ever. "I still love you, Sebastian" She whispered, barely hearing herself. It sounded far away, faint, almost as if she wasn't in her body anymore, but rather just a spectator. She was shocked that the words that had been bouncing around in her sub-conscious had finally made their way out.
Now she was back to her normal self and she pulled away abruptly, sitting back up in her chair almost in shock. What had she just let herself do? What about Parker? She buried her head in her hands. Why did this all have to be so damn complicated? How could she still love him? She told herself that she didn't, and that it was just a reaction to the memory of what they used to have; but even she didn't believe that. "Maybe I should go" She blurted out, her brain taking over again. Her heart screamed 'No, you can't leave him! What are you thinking?' But the words still came out wrong. This was so frustrating! She didn't move, but rather stared at her hands, not daring to look at his sweet face for a response; terrified that doing so would cause a total break down. Yes, she was falling apart at the seams.
- - - - - - - - - - - - I'm falling apart, I'm barely breathing With a broken heart that's still beating In the pain, there is healing And in your name I find meaning So I'm holding on, I'm barely holding on to you;

Sebastian A young mans dreams Wild as a mountain stream Rush all to the sea Well I was restless and I was reckless Trying to stay free
I swore that no one would hold me very long But in your arms I found the place where I belonged Thump-Thump, Thump-Thump. Sebastians heart was beating in his ears. He was sure she could hear it. He simply stared down at her. This was a dream, a beautiful, beautiful dream. Sebastian was sure. What had he done to deserve this punishment? Able to hold her, here and now, but not forever? Of course Sebastian knew what he had done... But maybe, maybe it wasn't a punishment, maybe Chey would stay, stay with him forever. I met someone.... A little voice in Sebastians head forced these words upon him over and over. His breathing was deep and shaky his lip trembled and his jaw clenched. He held her tightly to keep his hands from shaking involuntarily.He blinked and with in that half-second Chey had shifted. Sebastian braced himself for her departure but instead felt soft lips against his own. She took his lips possesivly, passionatly, just as he had taken hers before. It was like somebody set fire to Sebastians entire body. Her hand on his cheek was like silk, soft and smooth, it rubbed against Sebastians stubble gracefully, and then it was gone, her lips followed suit.
What soon followed left no time for shock, Sebastian heard soft vocals, they sounded so far away. I still love you, Sebastian [/s] There was a split-second where everyhing was right in the world, no war, no famine, no disease and suddenly no restrained love, Sebastian was on cloud nine. But of course as all good things come to an end, Chey stood. Her face was as shocked as his. I should go..[/s] her voiced trembled. Guns of war blasted, young children cried in hunger and millions died of an uncureable disease, Sebastian's dream slipped away... He had to do something. Anything. Anything to make her stay. He stood, muscles clenching as IV ubes wripped from his wrists. he felt no pain as he walked towards her. He gripped her arm and spun her into a firm embrace. His breath tickled her neck as he spoke huskily No, you should stay. And suddenly his lips owned hers as they pressed passionatly againt them. His hands owned her body as they roamed over her. And his heart fluttered frantically, gripping for hers, but unfortunatly he could not have that part of her, not wihout her permission.... [/blockquote] Now I’m not running anymore No more chasing down the sun The moment I looked in your eyes I knew you were the one Oh your velvet chains have taken my heart for sure And baby it’s a sweet surrender I’m not running anymore
Till you helped me I was never really free Wrapped here in your love is right where I want to be

Cheyenne You made me fall forever With no end in sight; - - - - - - - - - - - - -
It all happened in an instant, almost like a movie. A small gasp emitted from Chey's throat as she felt his strong hand grip her arm and spin her around into his firm embrace. "No, you should stay" She barely heard him say, his warm breath on her neck sending chills down her spine. Before she even had time to react, his lips met hers passionately, almost roughly. Chey stood in shock for a split instant before easily melting into his embrace, leaning against him and kissing back, desperately trying to get back to that sweet time barrier that had been so close only a few minutes ago.
As she stood there with him, suspended in time, she saw everything. Ever single moment that they had shared, every emotion that had washed through her, every sweet word that was exchanged. She re-lived it all, feeling him next to her again; back when everything seemed so right... But then she saw him drive away, slowly disappearing. Then there was nothing, until Parker's face became visible through the darkness. Chey felt herself pull back, placing her hands on his chest, slightly out of breath. What was she doing? "God, I can't do this Sebastian" She whispered, her voice still shaky and threatening to break at any moment.
She turned away, looking at the ground. She felt like collapsing. This was all just too much to handle. She closed her eyes and focused on breathing, on standing. She felt herself sway, but surprisingly remained standing. "I just can't" She whispered again, her mouth barely able to make the words form. She felt like she was choking, suffocating. A whole new wave of tears washed through her and spilt down her flushed cheeks. Her fist clenched in frustration; she was so sick of the tears. As much as she hated it, they still came, making her want to run away. She had to get away, but she couldn't move. God, this was so frustrating.
- - - - - - - - - - - - When everything around is broken Could you say that this felt right?

Sebastian We can save this love of ours the choice is yours and mine Or let it just go up in smoke it happens all the time Sebastian's heart leapt feeling her melt into the kiss. Chey was leaning against him kissing passionatly back. His hands rested softly on her hips, his neck bent to touch his lips to hers, his tongue brush her lips softly and his breathing quickened. All of a sudden he felt it. Her heart. Finally he held it. Sebastian felt like locking it away and throwing away the key, but he couldn't. As long as she was willing he would hold her and protect her and... love her. I swear he said softly, going back to her lips I'll never and back into that deep kiss Leave you... he said pausing a little to look into her eyes before rejoining their lips a thrid time.
Tense. Her body just froze up. Her face a blur as her hand pushed softly against Sebastian's pounding chest. God, I can't do this Sebastian [/s] Gone. Her heart flew from his. Building a barrier as Chey turned from him. Something in Sebastian cracked, his entire being trembled, his lip wavered, his hands shook, his heart trembled violently. I just can't and there they were again, those hot tears stained her face again. Relentlessly they poured, torturing Sebastian. He closed his eyes for a moment to recoupriate. A sudden flash of light brought his black eyelids to life before him. A kiss, a car, a tear, a career, a chance, another kiss, an accident, and a fuck up. A fuck up. That's all his life had ever been. He had to console her he had to stop the tears, stop the mess he had caused by coming back into her life. He approached her cautiosly afriad to do more damage. Shhh he said softly stroking her hair. It's okay he cooed, maybe more to himself than her. I'm gonna go now.... It's the only way I know how to fix this he said before turning and exiting the hospital room. It wasn;t until this point Sbeastian had even realized they were still at the hospital. His fists clenched and his jaw was set. Sebastians hand delved into his pockets. There was something there. He pulled out that little diamond ring.... "I swear... I'll never... Leave you...." The word rang in his head making him dizzy. he ground his teeth together and turned around, sprinting in the direction of his room, of her. He stopped in the door way and saw her. Realizing he still held the ring he clamped his hand so tight around it, it hurt. She couldn't ever see this ring. Chey... he began cautiously. I swore I'd never leave you.... again his voice was shaky So I won't. Not unless you want me to[/blockquote] In a world thats full of desparados Out there driftin' anytwhere the wind blows Haunted by a memory of thinkin' I've grown I don't know about you babe but I dont want To be one of those hearts on the run

Cheyenne I dont know how to let you go you are so deep down in my soul I feel helpless so hopeless its a door that never closes no I don't know how to do this; - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Suddenly Chey felt his strong arms wrap around her once again, and she didn't pull back this time. His soothing words floated to her ears and almost instantly calmed her as he stroked her hair. “Shhh... It's okay” She heard him say. But was it going to be? She wanted to believe him, but couldn‘t. No matter what she did someone was going to get hurt. How could she live with that? How could that make everything okay? Just then his earlier words registered in her head. ”I swear I‘ll never leave you“. Was that really true? Would he be there for her no matter what, or who, she choose? Did he really love her that much?
“I'm gonna go now.... It's the only way I know how to fix this” His words cut her thoughts like a knife. Chey blinked in shock, but she really shouldn’t have surprised. He had to leave. She had already decided; right? She clung to him for one last moment before dropping her arms and bracing herself for him to walk away. She was letting him go. Then he was gone, and she was alone again. Her throat caught, but then she felt a strange numbness wash over her. It felt so familiar, yet so wrong.
She felt like crumpling to the floor and crying, but she knew she had to be strong. She settled for leaning against the wall for support, closing her eyes shut tight to block out the tears that burned her eyes again. What had she done? She had just sent away the love of her life. Then, almost like a dream he was standing before her again. She blinked, not believing her own eyes. His words echoed faintly from the distance. ”Chey...“ He said slowly. He sounded cautious, unsure. She tried to focus on what he was saying, zeroing in and blocking out everything out.
“I swore I'd never leave you.... again” Chey winced.. He continued, his voice threatening to break at any minute. “So I won't. Not unless you want me to” Chey closed her eyes, breathing deep. ”Oh Sebastian” She murmured, shaking her head and trying to remember how to breathe. Her throat caught again and her heart thudded two times faster. One more chance. That’s all she had. It was now or never. How could she do this? Dropping her head, she nodded. ”You have to go” she whispered, barely able to even hear herself. Her heart screamed ’You can‘t let him go! You love him; you can do this!’ But of course, her mind was stronger. She felt like she was going to fall over, but surprisingly she stayed standing for the time being, bracing herself for her life to walk away... again.

Sebastian Cause goodbyes are like a roulette wheel You never know where they're gonna land Sebastian watched her there, watching the love of his life struggle agains the hot tears. He trembled all over, his clenched fists uncontrollably shaking. Oh Sebastian She sobbed. The young man was about to rush to her side. Ready to comfort her. To wrap her in his protective embrace and hold her until everything was alright. Would everything ever be alright? It had to be alright.... Sebastian's feet planted roots, he couldn't move, couldn't talk... Couldn't breathe. He just stood, trembling.
Her words broke his painful silence You have to go [/s] Hazel eyes grew wide. He blinked them twice in utter shock. She told him... She told him to... go... Sebastian breathed a deep, ragged, painful breath. Before he could think his feet were moving, within a few huge strides they were face to face. Lips to lips. Heart to heart. Sebastian took one deep, possesive, passionate kiss and slipped something into her hand. Something small, metal and shiny. It was only right for her to have it. He pulled from her lips, dragging her lower lip against his. And with that he turned on his heel. The old Sebastian would've had somehing witty to add to the last conversation he'd ever have with his love. But not the new Sebastian... New and Improved? Some may say. Only one thing hadn't improved and that was the condition of his broken heart. And now Sebastian didn't know what he would do with it. There was always suicide... He thought to himself as he exited the hospital. No, he was too scared of death... It frightened him to the bones. The next best thing? Vodka of course. Vodka... Luckily for him there were flashing neon lights ahead. He walked briskly towards the club. He raised his eyebrows at the thought of a strip club next to a hospital but entered anyway. The bar was smoky and dim. Two scantily clad women wink at him from behind the bar. Grey Goose he muttered. [/blockquote] First you're spinning, then you're standing still Left holding a losing hand Better as a memory, than as your man....

((OOC: eh, sorry it's so long and a little 'everywhere' xD got a little carried away)) Cheyenne I am finding out that maybe I was wrong That I've fallen down and I can't do this alone Stay with me, this is what I need, please? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Somewhere in the haze of her mind she felt his lips against hers, but she didn’t kiss back. She couldn’t. She saw nothing, she felt nothing. Nothing but numbness. She faintly recognized something being slipped into her hand, but then there was nothing. Only when she realized he was gone did the panic set in. Her eyes slowly focused in and she glanced around quickly as things began to take shape. He was no where. Her throat closed up, unable to breathe. She wanted to scream, to run after him, but instead she crumpled against the wall. Every ragged breathe was a struggle and her lungs gasped for air.
Tears wouldn’t come. The numbness went away now and she felt nothing but pain. She winced, closing her eyes shut tight as if doing so would somehow make everything alright. But it wouldn’t be. He was gone. Even worse, she had made him leave. Her stomach lurched and another stab of anguish stabbed at her heart. What had she done? She blew it, and now she didn’t have any more chances. She bit her lip hard until it bled, wanting desperately to cry, but meeting only frustration when nothing came. The lump in her throat hurt now, and it was getting harder to breathe. Her chest heaved with the effort and the walls began to spin.
Only then did she realized that her hand clutched something. Her fingers seemed to be locked in place, her hand still shaking. But she was finally able to pry them open; and then there it was. Her heart heaved and then sputtered to a sudden stop. It took her a long moment before the realization of it hit. And then it tore through her. A gasp escaped her already raw throat and the small ring slipped through her suddenly limp fingers and fell to the floor with a tiny echo.
A sob escaped her throat, and then another as she slowly reached out to pick up the ring with shaky fingers. She clutched it tight and brought her hands to her chest, closing her eyes and curling up tighter as if she was about to literally fall apart. “Sebastian, I’m so sorry” She whispered, literally choking on the words. She needed him now more than ever, every fiber of her being longing for him to come back. But she knew she couldn’t have him now. Her own selfish stupidity has pushed him to the limit, and there was no way he would take her back now.
She clenched her teeth she cursed herself, crying dry tears. It was too late. The damage had been done. A few more strangled sobs ripped through her throat as she clutched the ring tighter, her nails digging deep into her palm. But she didn’t feel it. All she felt was grief. But then there was something else. Anger. She was furious at herself. She had to do something. She had to find him. She forced her shaky legs to work as she pushed herself to her feet. The walls spun again and made her dizzy, but somehow she managed to stumble out of the hospital.
A chilly evening breeze hit her face as she practically fell into the empty street. Her heart ached, feeling more than just lonely. ”Sebastian!” She called. She couldn’t think straight, but she knew she had to find him. ”Sebastian!” She screamed again, more urgently, as her words echoing through the empty night street and give her a strange deja-vue. “Sebasitan, wait! Please! Sebastian, I love you!" She choked, falling to her knees again. "Please don't go. Stay with me" She whispered as the tears finally slipped down her cheeks. It wasn’t the first time she had said those words, but now it was her fault and not his.
She wasn’t sure how long she stayed there, just sitting on the sidewalk and staring blankly, letting a few small tears roll down her cheek every once in a while. But it was dark now, and she pulled herself to her feet again, slowly dragging herself towards where her truck waited in the parking lot. Somewhere in the corner of her mind she noted that someone from Pinewood must have dropped it off there for her, but none of that mattered right now. Before she knew it she was flying carelessly down an empty country road, not even knowing where she was going. She just had to get away from here. Maybe the faster she drove, she could just leave the pain behind.
Tears blurred her vision as she accelerated faster and faster into the darkness, gripping the steering wheel until her knuckles begged for mercy. The small ring in her pocket felt like a hundred pounds and she closed her eyes to block out the pain. It all happened in a second, but she opened her eyes just in time. A flash of lights blinded her before she swerved severely away from the oncoming car and ran into the ditch. Slamming the breaks, her whole body flew forward, almost slamming into the steering wheel. Still in a daze, she sat blankly for a moment before dropping her head to the steering wheel and leaving it there. Now she let the tears come. She cried silently for a minute, her entire frame shaking. But soon her throat cracked and she was sobbing.
”Sebastian. I‘m so sorry”
- - - - - - - - - - - - - This heart, it beats, beats for only you My heart is yours Please don't go now, Please don't fade away;

Sebastian Well me and my lady had our first big fight So I drove around until I saw the neon lights Of a corner bar. It just seemed right, so I pulled up. Not a soul around but the old barkeep Down at the end lookin' half asleep. And he walked up and and said, "What'll it be?" I said, "The good stuff." Sebastian sat. Sat drinking vodka. The good stuff. He sighed and began thinking abou where he would go from here. He could always go back to Kentucky. Sebastian was sure his old clients woudl gladly take him back. Suddenly his eyes narrowed in on a pickup truck passing by. It was Chey. Sebastian shuddered as he saw the first large drops begin to fall. And then it poured. The sheet of falling rain was so thick the outside world became a blur. Sebastian breathed deeply. He couldn't go back, he was misrable there. He couldn't stay, he had no way of making a living. Of course he could always open his own stable... that would show her. Who was he kidding? He couldn't do that to Chey.
The rain kept coming, harder and harder, faster and faster. Sebastian finished off his second glass of the strong liqour. He let the alcohol take over his system, flooding his brain, hazing his thoughts, masking the pain. Red and blue lights blinded him through the window. It was an ambulance, followed by a police car. It sent shivers up Sebastians spine, his jaw clenched. No. He couldn't. He wouldn't. He wanted to. He had to. No. And yet suddenly he was reaching for the door. He was. The cold rain hit him like a brick wall. It soaked through his open dress shirt to his under shirt and soon to his beating chest. He saw the ambluance pull into the emergency wing.
He began to run. Running faster and faster into oblivion. Chey. Chey. Chey. Chey... was all he was thinking. His heart beat faster and his head spun. Sebastian reached the ambulance and saw a suprising sight. The godess that was his obsession walked from the ambulance. She had a scrape across her beautiful face, but that was all. He stopped dead. His hair plastered to his face, water running down his face, soaking his five o'clock shadow. He trembled. How had he known? How? He couldn't move. He just stood in front of her as the paramedic dismissed her. Her hand was still clutched tigh, around her ring, no doubt. The sky was black now, the rain dumped buckets on them, Sebastian was soaked to the bone and all he could do is stand there, dumbstruck. He didn't reach around for the whiskey; He didn't pour me a beer. His blue eyes kinda went misty, He said, "You can't find that here."
"'Cause it's the first long kiss on a second date. Momma's all worried when you get home late And droppin' the ring in the spagetti plate, 'Cause your hands are shakin' so much. And it's the way she looks with the rice in her hair. Eating burnt suppers the whole first year, And askin' for seconds to keep her from tearin' up. Yeah, man, that's The Good Stuff."

Cheyenne && with these broken wings I'm fallin' And all I see is you; - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
It wasn’t long before the ambulance and police came to where Chey sat in her truck, still sobbing and calling his name. Yes, she must have looked rather shaken up. And that wasn’t too far from the truth; of course, it wasn’t really about the near-accident she had just avoided either. It all seemed so trivial right now, even the small stream of blood that trickled down her cheek, mingling with the tears. She was able to pull herself together enough to answer the paramedic’s carefully asked questions, no doubt questioning her sanity. ”Are you hurt?” She barely heard someone call through the thick haze that clouded her mind. The question confused her for a second and she almost nodded; of course she was, but then she realized that they meant physical. She shook her head slowly, numbly, still unable to make herself speak. In fact, it took all her energy just to stop the tears that burned behind her eyes.
She must not have convinced them, for she felt them pull her carefully from he truck cab and into the ambulance. She continued to nod and shake her head to their questions, just wanting they would go away. She almost wished she would have flipped the truck and hit that tree. Then it would be over, right? She shuddered at the thought. Since when was she suicidal? She didn’t even notice the rain until now, stepping out of the ambulance as they released her. They really had no choice, as she refused any treatment. As far as she saw it, she deserved whatever pain came to her. The cold rain pelted her now, soaking her to the bone and causing her hair and clothing to stick to her skin. But suddenly she didn’t care, because he was there. For a second she didn’t believe her eyes... how hard had she hit her head? She shook her head furiously, trying to clear the vision, but yet there he stood, just like a perfect dream.
Her heart raced and she swallowed hard, trying to stop the tears that now twisted down her face along with the rain. Now nothing else mattered, not Parker, not the fact that she couldn’t have him... Her decision was made, whether he wanted her or not. She had to get to him, to apologize, before he left again. That’s the least she could give him. She couldn’t live without herself if she didn’t, and she couldn’t live without him; now she was sure of it. He had to know. She moved a few steps towards him, almost afraid that he would disappear if she moved to quickly. ”Sebastian” She murmured, the rain echoing in her ears and almost drowning her own voice out. She struggled for her next breathe, her lungs screaming as the impact of hitting the steering wheel finally took effect. Her head still throbbed and things were beginning to slowly fade. She blinked, struggling on keeping her eyes on Sebastian as she took another desperate step forward and reached her hands out to him. But it was finally too much for her. Before she knew what was happening, she felt the impact of the slick road against her skin, then everything slipped into darkness. ”I’m so sorry”

Sebastian When you're driving with the brakes on When you're swimming with your boots on It’s hard to say you love someone And it’s hard to say you don't
He blinked once. Blinked twice. He kept his eyes closed for a few seconds. But when he opened them there she was. Sebastian's lungs gasped for air. He took deeper, ragged breaths. Sebastian [/s] He had to tell her. But he couldn't move. He needed to tell her he loved her, he couldn't live without her. He wanted to spend the rest of his god forsaken life with her. he wanted to wipe away her tears. He wanted to pick her up when she was down. He wanted to kiss her until nothing in thw world mattered. He wanted to hold her until everything made sense. He wanted to catch her when she fell... And she did. Sebastian gasped as Chey fell to the concrete. I'm sorry Ping-ping-ping. The ring bounced across the sidewalk. Sebastian trembled and dropped to his knees. Her soaking wet body lay on the pavement. Her head must've hit the asphalt hard because she was out cold. Sleeping there on the ground, she looked like she just landed there, from heaven. She was an angel. Her soaked brown hair splayed out around her head. Chey he whispered in audibly. His throat burned with her name. Sebastian reached his arm under her graceful neck, the other under her bent knees. He lifted her head to his lips and kissed her forehead gently. Standing he began to walk. The ambulance was gone but they were already at the hospital. He walked towards the swinging doors that read: emergency. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. This was the only sound, apart from her slow, soft breathing. It was the only thing keeping Sebastian alive. For each beep assured him she was alive. His love was alive. Her eyes fluttered. Sebastian lurched forward. His hand, which already held hers, gave it a soft squeeze. He felt a ficker of a squeeze back. Chey he spoke softly Chey, baby. Can you hear me? another squeeze was delivered to Sebastian's hand. He knew she could hear him. Well if you can, you should know this... I love you... I always have... And I'm not going to sit back and watch you slip away from me. his voice cracked a little but he regained his composure. A-and I want to be with you... forever... I know I can take care of you... I want to hold you every night... I want to wake up to you every morning... I want to be with you... I want to marry you... Cheyenne Kingery, will you marry me? [/blockquote] Unless the moon falls tonight. Unless continents collide Nothings gonna make me Break from her sight

Cheyenne I don’t want this moment to ever end everything’s nothing without you I wait here forever just to see you smile cause it’s true; I’m nothing without you - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
The next thing Chey knew, she was trying to open her eyes, but the bright light made her winced and close them again. What had happened? Suddenly it all came back to her, and she felt her throat close up again. But then she heard his voice, clear above all the other noises around her, and her heart skipped a beat. It was faint at first, but she focused in on it, feeling his warm hands in hers. She heard him say her name, and she wanted to respond, but couldn’t find her voice, so she squeezed his hand ever so lightly to let him know she had heard him. Then he was speaking again, calming her racing mind as she lay there, feeling quite helpless. ”Chey, baby. Can you hear me?” She squeezed his hand again, hopping he would feel the subtle movement.
”Well if you can, you should know this... I love you... I always have... And I'm not going to sit back and watch you slip away from me” Chey’s slow breathing picked up a notch. She wished she could comfort him as his voice broke slightly, but was only able to lay there, praying her head would stop throbbing. ”A-and I want to be with you... forever...” Chey’s heart skipped another beat. ” I know I can take care of you... I want to hold you every night... I want to wake up to you every morning... I want to be with you... I want to marry you...” Shock. That’s the only word to describe it. She forced her eyes open, forgetting about the pain that lay behind them. Things slowly came in focus again and she watched him as he continued. ”Cheyenne Kingery, will you marry me?”
Her throat caught in a quiet gasp, not believing what she heard. Her heart seemed to stop dead for a minute. Had he just asked her to... marry him? If it weren’t for her throbbing head, she would have swore it was a dream. But it wasn’t a dream, this was reality. Her eyes misted suddenly as it sunk in, and she reached a shaky hand out to take his face in her hand. She wanted to tell him everything; tell him that she had loved him all along, that she had never gotten over him, that she was wrong to tell him to leave, that she couldn’t live without him. ”Yes” Was all she managed, her shaky voice in a whisper. She didn’t have time to think, all she knew was that she couldn’t let him slip away again. She loved him, more than life it’s self; and she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. She wanted to be his everything; and she never wanted to leave his side. A smile flickered on her tired expression before her heavy eyes slowly closed again, a single tear of emotion rolling down her cheek. ”I love you Sebastian” She breathed. And suddenly everything was alright.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - through it all, I’ve made my mistakes, I’ve stumbled and fallen but I mean these words all these street where I’ve walked alone with nowhere to go, have come to an end && I want you to know that with everything I won’t let this go these words are my heart and soul I’ll hold onto this moment you know cause I’ll bleed my heart out to show that I won’t let you go;

Sebastian I think about the years I spent just passing through I'd like to have the time I lost and give it back to you But you just smile and take my hand You've been there you understand It's all part of a grander plan that is coming true Sebastian watched as she stirred. The her eyes opened as he finished his proposal. He saw the tears welling. God, how he hoped they were the good kind. He sat trembling, watching Chey muster up teh courage, to either shut him down or... well... say; "Yes" Yes What about that ther guy? Did she love him, would he be the one to stop Seb? Wait a minute Yes.? Sebastian's heart lurched in his throat. Yes... The back of his eyes burned as he looked down at her. His lip trembled. I love you Sebastian she said soflty, A tear rolled down her cheek and suddenly he felt something hot and wet trickle down his cheek.
Sebastian was so close that when the tear fell, it landed on Chey. With a tiny splash it landed next to her tear. The two tears joined to one and continued down her cheek. Sebastian watched closely as the single tear navigated her soft face. He braced himself, his hands on both sides of her and kissed the tear softly. His lips kissed across her cheek to her lips, but he hesitated over them, so close to Chey that he could hear her breathing. You have no idea how long I've been waiting for this. He whispered, slipping the ring over her finger deftly. I love you, more than anythign in the world And with that he touched his lips to hers. Now one would expect another passionate, possesive kiss between the two, just like all of the ones before. but there was somehing different. It was still every bit as passionate and electrifying as every kiss they'd shared. But that possesvie, owning feeling was gone. It was replaced by a submissive understandingness that gave Sebastian a shiver up his spine. He had never experienced such a thing. it was magical. He braced himself over her body, but he was completly on the hospital bed. Over top of her. His tongue swiped over his lips, waiting for permission, this time, to enter. Holding himself wih one arm he gently carressed her face. This was the perfect kiss.
He broke away and looked down at her. His hazel eyes stared ino hers of the same color. She was beautiful, more beauiful than anything he'd ever seen. Chey was his sun, his moon, his love, his life. She was his everything. He pulled her left hand to his mouth and kissed it softly, admiring the way her ring fit perfectly around that slender finger. Softly placing it back where it was Sebastian leaned in, kissing her neck softly. His lips were delicate and soft on her perfect skin. He broke away; I love you kissed jst below her ear I love you he repeated I love you. Just because it was true. He loved her. Every long lost dream led me to where you are Others who broke my heart they were like northern stars Pointing me on my way into your loving arms This much I know is true That God blessed the broken road That led me straight to you

Cheyenne Dreams can't take the place of loving you, There's gotta be a million reasons why it's true I can't take a day without you here, You're the light that makes my darkness disappear; - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Chey tried to keep her breathing steady as he spoke again, tried to focus. But it was hard. So many emotions were running through her all at the same time, and it took her breath away. No words could describe how she felt. Happy, overjoyed, elated; they all seemed too insignificant to describe it. Most of all she felt at peace because the decision was made. He was staying, and wouldn’t have to leave ever again. Her inner turmoil was finally over. She was finally with who she was meant to be with. Somewhere deep down she knew it all along. Sebastian was who she really loved. That’s why it was so hard to tell him to leave. She automatically gripped his hand a little tighter at the thought. What a stupid thing to do. She would never want to go through that again, not in a million lifetimes. And she wouldn’t have to, she reminded herself. She was his, and he was hers. Til death do they part. She smiled.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - When you look me in the eyes, And tell me that you love me. Everything's alright, When you're right here by my side; - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Then his lips were hesitating over her lips. Her heart fluttered. ”You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for this” He was saying softly. She almost smiled again. As she thought about it, really she had been waiting for this too, although she would never admit it. She used to dream of how he proposed... and it was a lot different than this, she could say that. But she didn’t care now. All was right with the world right now. She used to dream of what their lives would be like together. She would picture their wedding, her dream dress, and seeing him at the end of the isle. She saw herself kissing him goodbye as he went to work, standing in front of their small little country house with their beautiful little kids playing in the front yard. She almost blushed, but then she felt him slip the ring on her finger, momentarily breaking her from her daydreams and bringing her back to her blissfully reality. Her eyes misted again, opening them now to find his smoldering hazel optics staring into hers.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - When you look me in the eyes, I catch a glimpse of heaven. I find my paradise, When you look me in the eyes; - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
A small smile played on her lips, but it didn’t touch her eyes. ”I love you more than anything in this world” He said. Her stomach fluttered and her breathing quickened. Then her hand found his face again and, almost as if he read her mind, their lips met hers in the sweetest kiss she could ever imagine. Her lips moved perfectly with his, throwing all her love into it. They seemed to melt together, to become one. Yes, there was something different about this kiss. Gone was the desperate, pleading, possessiveness. Instead it was replaced with trust, hope, future, and of course a promise. A promise to never leave again, a promise to hold each other’s hands through thick and thing. Pure magic. Chey sighed as he pulled away, at a loss for words. But she didn’t have to say anything, he gently lifted her left hand and kissed it. She liked the way the ring felt on the finger. ”I never want to take it off” She breathed, finally finding her voice. She hopped he understood what she was talking about.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - More and more, I start to realize, I can reach my tomorrow, I can hold my head high, And it's all because you're by my side; - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
She smiled as he kissed her neck, sending shivers down her spine. ”I love you” she heard him whisper again and again, his perfect lips soft against her skin. She played it over and over in her head, soaking in this moment. ”I’ll always love you” She whispered back, feeling herself trembling. Just then then doctor came in, and Chey sat up a little straighter, feeling her cheeks flush slightly. He cleared his throat, walking over to the bed and picking up her chart. ”You should be okay to leave Ms. Kingery. You hit your head pretty hard, but I’d say other than a major headache you’ll be fine” He smiled. ”Just makes sure you get plenty of rest and let us know if you have any further complications” She barely heard him say, and she nodded. ”Thanks” She murmured, letting him leave before attempting to sit up, groaning quietly as her head spun. She closed her eyes for a second before opening them again. Then she was fine. She soft smile reached her lips as she took Sebastian’s hand in hers. ”Can you take me home?” She asked quietly, feeling the fatigue set in now. She never wanted this to end, but she knew she had to get home and rest.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - When I hold you in my arms I know that it's forever I just gotta let you know I never wanna let you go...

Sebastian I've seen the storm clouds in your past But rest assured 'cause you are safe At home at last I rescued you, you rescued me And we're right where we should be When we're together I will always love you she told him softly. He smiled it was true. They were together, and it was forever... I never want to take it off [/s] she said in barely a whisper. Sebastian smiled at the ring. It wasn't much... A single gold band with one, decent sized diamond. It wasn't the size of the diamond that had drawn Sebastian to the ring two long years ago... It was that sparkle, the little diamond sparkled like her beautiful eyes. They layed together for a few moments, just holding each other. Sebastian's heart fluttered in his chest. Or was that his stomach, Jesus, he hadn't had butterflies since the third grade. He smiled dreamily and suqeezed her delicate hand in his. Just then he heard someone clear their throat. Sebastian winced and slowly, carefully rose and stood beside the bed. He was quite embarassed for a moment. but he shrugged it off as he heard the doctor speak; You should be okay to leave Ms. Kingery. You hit your head pretty hard, but I’d say other than a major headache you’ll be fine” He smiled. ”Just makes sure you get plenty of rest and let us know if you have any further complications[/s] Sebastian sighed in relief Thanks he said briefly shaking the mans hand. It was then Sebastian realized just how long they'd been at the hospital, they'd come yesterday afternoon and it was now twenty minutes till midnight. [/blockquote] I know the questions in your mind But go ahead and ask me one more time You'll find the answer's still the same It won't change from day to day For worse or better He heard Chey groan and was immeadiatly at her side. He helped her up and held her close to him for a second. letting her dizziness pass. He knew how it felt. Can you take me home? she asked, suddenly sounding very tired. Sebastian wrapped an arm around her shoulders and pressed her temple to his lips for a brief kiss. Just as long as I can come too he said with a chuckle. He lead the couple out of the building and into the night. He stopped outside the building and sighed softly, looking up at the stars. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you...
Sebastian pulled Chey's truck into the drive at Pinewood. He looked down at her, sleeping on his shoulder. She looked so peaceful, he decided he couldn't wake her. He removed the keys from the ignition and jogged to the house, unlocking the door. He came back to the car to thankfully find her sleeping. His lips brushed her forehead as he scooped her up in his arms. Sebastain smiled at her as he carried her thorugh the front door. He stopped at a room that was unmistakably her bedroom. He sighed softly as he put her down gently on the bed. He covered her with the comforter and was about t get in when he realized his jeans were filthy dirty. He pulled off his jeans and shirt and climbed in beside her. Her scent calmed him as he pulled her close to him, holding her in a delicate, yet firm embrace. Sebastian was exhausted and it took no time at all until he experience the same deep sleep as Chey.
[[super sorry for the power-playing...]] Will I promise to be your best friend And am I here until the end Can I be sure I have been waiting for you And did I say my love is true Baby I will, I am, I can, I have, I do
