((OOC: this is a crappy post, sorry)) Cheyenne && she would change everything for happy ever after caught in the in between; a beautiful disaster - - - - - - - - - - -
Chey looked up, startled, as the door opened and Sebastian walked in. She quickly turned to dry her damp cheeks before studying his expression as he spoke. 'Chey, there's something you're not telling me..." She looked down at the desk with hard eyes. He had always been good at telling when she was keeping something from him; but was he really still just as attuned to her as she was to him? She sighed, running her hands through her hair as she leaned on the desk. "How do you do that?" She looked up at him, and something like an amused grin - weak as it may have been - flickered across her tight and troubled expression before disappearing again as she looked down at the desk.
She took a deep breath and her brow knitted together as she tried to put her thoughts into word form. "Sebastian," She finally said. The name cut her heart as it fell from her mouth "after you left..." This all came very difficult for her, and she said each word slowly and deliberately. "I didn't trust anyone" She glanced at him quickly to check his expression. The last thing she wanted to do was hurt him worse than she might already be doing. "But then I met someone" She looked at him now, her eyes searching deep into his own optics; worried about his reaction. She swallowed, trying to go on, but the words were lost between her head and mouth.
She looked down, waiting for his reply, if any. This was worse to say than she imagined; saying no to him. She couldn't get the image of his face as he kissed her from he mind. She sighed suddenly, breaking the silence. "God, Sebastian. This is so hard..." She said, giving up trying to be strong as she buried her head in her hands again. "I mean, how am I supposed to choose?" She choked, squeezing her eyes shut to fight back the tear that were coming again. She loved Sebastian, but she also loved Parker. She sighed; her head ached, but even worse than that: her heart ached.

Sebastian;; I guess its my turn
Sebastians heart leapt as he saw a flicker of a smile upon her lush lips. How do you do that? she asked him. Seb shrugged and raised an eyebrow Intuition he offered along with a slight grin, which soon dissappeared. She began to speak again after you left... I didn't trust anyone [/s] She began, Sebastain's chest tightened. He wanted to grab a hold of the clock on the day and turn it back. Back to when he made the worst decision of his life. Then I met someone[/s] the words stabbed at his heart like a knife. He blinked in shock, his mouth hung slightly open and his fists clenched. He didn't-couldn't say anything but soon Chey spoke again. [God, Sebastian. This is so hard... she said painfully You're not kidding he spoke softly. The words didn't show his hurt but he was damned by the expression of his voice and the look in his eye. Sebastian was crushed. I mean, how am I supposed to choose?[/s] She asked him. Well lets see here, did this someone give up everything to come back to you, did this someone bare his soul to you, did this someone truely love you? Did this someone break your heart two years ago..... Sebastain held the doorframe in a death grip, he needed to punch something. His jaw was set so rigid it hurt. No. No way. These weren't tear in his eyes. Sebastian hadn't cried since the fifth grade. His closed his eye tight to hold back the burning tears. Chey... Please he croaked. A tear escaping the corner of his eye. He ran a hand through his hair, descretly wiping the tear away Please... [/blockquote][/sup]

((OOC: gah, another crappy post, especially compared to yours... sorry)) Cheyenne how the hell'd we wind up like this? why weren't we able to see the signs that we missed and try to turn the table? - - - - - - - - - - -
Chey let another sob escape her throat and a new stream of tears flew down her face as he pleaded. 'Chey... please' She bit her lip hard to fight back the tears, and she began to shake again as she eyed his ridged jaw and clenched fist. "Please Sebastian, don't-" She whispered. This was only making it harder. She swallowed hard as she watched a small tear escape his desperate eyes. 'Please...' this was all too much to bear.
"Sebastian" Her voice strained beyond recognition until it was barely audible. "I don't know what to do" She sobbed, her voice quivering as she covered her tear soaked face in her hands. "I don't know what to do" She whispered again, shaking her head and squeezing her eyes shut tight. She wanted to open her eyes and just have everything go away; everything but him.
She looked up again with pleading eyes. "What am I supposed to do?" She choked desperately, almost angry. She was do distraught that even her emotions didn't come across right. How was she supposed to choose between the one whom she had never stopped loving, or the one whom she couldn't live without? She would never forgive herself if she hurt either of them... And all this was running through her mind as she cried quietly into her hands.
"I love you" she whispered, almost inaudibly. "I always have" She added, another small sob making it's way through her voice. "Please understand" She begged., not knowing what else to say. "This is so hard, I need time" She added. Was she even making sense? Nothing made sense anymore... "Please don't leave me again, whatever happens" She managed to say, terror flashing in her hazel eyes. "I couldn't bear it; not again, not now" She added slowly and quietly, looking down at the desk to divert her eyes from his pained expression.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - now the story's played out like this, just like a paperback novel; let's re-write and ending that fits instead of a hollywood horror...

Sebastian;;How do I Live Without You? How do I go on?
Sebastian walked to her side and lifted her to her feet, immeaditaly after embracing her closley. Another tear fell on her brunette locks. Sebastian shuddered as her touch sent shivers up his spine. He blinked away tears as she sobbed I don't know what to do he pulled away ever so slightly, just so he could into her eyes Love me. he answered simply. Of course he knew it was not so simple.
I love you [/s] she whispered to him I always have[/s] Sebastian's heart sank. She really did love this other guy. He took another deep raged breath and decided he would hear her out. After all in the end she'd choose him.... right? This is so hard, I need time she tryed to explain through sobs. Sebastian pulled her close, he told himself it was because she needed his support. But really it was because he felt so light headed he might topple over any second. Please don't leave me again, whatever happens...[/s] she spoke again, he tones hindered by the tears pouring from her eyes. I couldn't bear it; not again, not now[/s] It was all Sebastian could do to chase those heartfelt words with a kiss. If this didn't say all he wanted needed to say, then it wasn't meant to be said. The kiss was almost explosive. Sebastian's lips meshed with Chey's perfectly, they pushed against her and then pulled at her bottom lip. His hands were tangled in her hair. After a mch longer kiss than their first, Sbeastian pulled away I couldn't if I wanted to Chey. I won't lose you again. Not now, not ever. he told her, turning on his heel and exiting the office.[/sup][/blockquote]

((OOC: hope there's something for you to reply to at least... low muse xD)) Cheyenne && I'm hanging on to the words you say; - - - - - - - - - - -
Her heart leapt as he took her into his arms 'Love me' She barely heard him say. Was it really that simple? She wanted to say she did, but something stopped her. Could she really love him the same way she did before he left? Her breath shortened as she looked into his hazel optics, alive with emotion. She felt her heart breaking as she swallowed her sobs and leaned close to him, resting her head on his chest the way she always had. For a moment, no words were exchanged, and Chey thoughts maybe this was all just a dream; she would wake up and he would be gone. She cluing tighter, taking in his scent, the sounds of his heart beat...
Then suddenly his lips met hers again, but this time it was different. This kiss didn't just say something; it said everything. Her heart rushed, and the breath was knocked out of her as their lips locked. All too soon it was over, and he was speaking again. His voice was distant now, but smooth as velvet to her pounding ears. She felt dizzy, but strained to hear what he was saying. 'I couldn't if I wanted to Chey. I won't lose you again. Not now, not ever' She felt like she was going to faint as she watched him walk away. She wasn't sure if her light-headedness was from his kiss, or what he said.
She sat down slowly, not trusting herself to run after him. She wanted to say more, she wanted to kiss him again and tell him that she loved him more than anything. But could she really say that honestly? Sebastian had stolen her heart two years ago; and Parker had given it back. But now Sebastian was back she reminded herself, sighing deeply. She couldn't stand this pain that was griping at her heart. She loved them both, but in different ways. Now she wanted badly to run after him, to explain this new realization, but she sat, not able to move, staring numbly out the window. She unconsciously replayed everything, finally hearing his voice echo in her head again; 'Love me'

Sebastian;; Chalk another dumb move up to my foolish pride.
Sebastian kicked a stone across the cobblestone path, he was totally zoned out as he watched it skitter aross the path and onto the grass. He wanted to go back into the office and kiss Chey, hold her, forever. But he couldn't. It was this pride. This pride that had ruined his life. This pride that had kept him from his love for two years. And this pride that would probably keep it from him forever. Sebastian's jaw clenched. He immeaadiatly reached for a cigarette, but there were none. No nicotine left. Damn it he muttered angrily.
But what if it was her? His brain continued. What if it was Chey? After all she was the one who'd found love in another.... She was the one who needed time. Sebastian winced. How could he think such things. He was the one who'd left her. He was the one who'd taken the easy way out. He was the one afriad to commit. The only problem with all three of those statements is they all had the same pretense.... Was.... Sebastian knew he was ready now. And to his dismay.... Chey wasn't.
Fist clenched as he made his way towards the barn. Now if he wanted a horse to take on the trails he would've lipped a lead on Kryptonite, his easy-going gelding and been off. But Sebastian needed to run, he needed to run away from all this if even for an hour. So the foolish man slipped a bridle over StarBound-the carzy mare-'s head. She pranced out of the stall and Sebastian flew up on her bare back effortlessly. With that they were off.
Star flew over the fence into the pasture, and over the fence out of the pasture. They hit the trails and Sebastian didn't think about the fact he didn't know where they were going, he was gripping tightly to the mare's sides and holding her reins expertly. He leant forward and rode her easily. There was a moment in which all heartbreak and trashed dreams were forgotten, a moment in which man and horse were a flurry of thundering hooves and ragged breathing, a moment of speed and agility. Soon a moment of tragedy. All he remembered was a thud of his head on the ground and a scream from his horse, then darkness, dizzy darkness surrounded him, lulling him into a deep sleep.
ooc:: see I told you I could do miracles with your posts ^^

Cheyenne && I'm finding out that maybe I was wrong that I'm falling down and I can't do this alone stay with me, this is what I need, please - - - - - - - - - - - -
She leaned over the desk, trying to breath as her thoughts continued to spiral. He had come back for her, and she had pushed him away. Was she being selfish? Isn't this what she had wanted all along? She shook her head. This was the hardest thing she'd ever have to deal with; that she was sure of. Hoofbeats suddenly broke into her thoughts, and she looked up. Sebastian. Guilt pulsed through her. Now it was her that had hurt him. She sighed, why did things have to be like this? She winced at every hoofbeat as they faded into the distance. She suddenly felt the overcoming urge to run after him, to tell him sorry. She had hurt him in the same way he had hurt her. There was no way she could let him suffer as she did.
Somehow, she managed to get up and walk out of the office to Shadow's stall. The grey gelding tossed his head and walked over to the stall door, snorting as he sensed her tension. She grabbed his bridle from the hook next to his stall and replaced his halter with it. There was no time for a saddle, so she lead him out of the stall and slipped onto his back, balancing herself in the middle of his back. Taking hold of the reins, she kicked his sides and they were off. A cold wind whipped at her eyes and made her squint. Which way had he gone? She guessed he most likely went on the first trail, so she reined Shadow into it and they galloped away across the hard ground.
She kept him at a gallop; maybe if she kept running, she could outrun her problems. With each stride she got closer to him, and therefore closer to the only thing that could sooth her pain. She needed only him, and nothing else mattered right now. If Parker found it, he would understand, right? She needed to say sorry for everything. She needed him to help her get through the turmoil that was going on inside her head. Her heart stopped as Shadow tossed his head and whinnied at a mare that was cantering through the path ahead of them. Then there was something else. Something laying in the path. Suddenly she knew; her jumbled mind put the pieces together. Sebastian.
Before she knew what she was doing, she was jumping off Shadow, who was still in the process of trotting to a stop, and running with all her might to where he was laying. One foot after the other, panic moved her on. "Sebastian!" She heard someone scream. She was surprised to realized that it was her own voice. In a moment, she threw herself down next to him, hysteria in her tone and worry overtaking every bone in her body. "Sebastian?" She called franticly, looking for any sign of response in his still face. There was nothing. Sobs of panic came from her throat, and her breathing was still sharp. She brushed the dirt from his face. " Can you hear me? Oh my god Sebastian, please answer me!" She pleaded, her throat going dry.
"I'm so sorry Sebastian" She cried, taking his head to her chest and rocking it gently, tears falling from her eyes and landing on his pale face. "God Sebastian, wake up, please!" She whispered into his ear. "I'm so sorry" she cried over and over, somehow feeling responsible for why he was laying her, motionless. She knew she should go get help, but she couldn't pull herself away from him, hoping, praying, that he would wake up. "Please wake up" She whispered, barely able to breath as she gently brushed his dirty blond hair from his forehead.
- - - - - - - - - - - - This heart, it beats for only you My heart is yours; Please don't go now, please don't fade away - - - - - - - - - -

Sebastian Everything is in slow motion No matter what I do It's like running under water Trying to get back, trying to get back to you Sebastian laughed as Chey raised her head from her hot chocolate. "What" she asked, smiling sweetly. Sebastian shook his head with a chuckle. He reached forward and his thumb brushed her nose gently. He licked the whipped cream off his finger. Mmm tastes even better he joked. The two shared a few bursts of laughter. They joined their hands over the table. Sebastian looked dreamily into Chey's eyes. He leaned in to kiss her but suddenly she dissappeared.
Chey again appeared, but this time she was in the rear view mirror of an old sedan. Sebastian immeadiatly recognized this picture. He slammed on the brakes. But nothing happened. He twisted the steering wheel trying to turn the car towards her.... his love. Again nothing. It was like someone else was driving onwards. Sebastian turned around, clambering over the seat into the back seat. Through the dirty window he could see her... Seventeen year old Chey, her face was tear stained, she was calling out to him "Sebastian! Sebastian! I love you!" Sebastian pounded on the window with his fists, he'd not make the same mistake twice. He'd not break Chey's heart again. He'd never forgive himself. "Chey! Chey!"
Chey. Chey. he mumbled incoherantly. Hazel eyes flew open. It was a blur of white before him. Where was he? Sebastian blinked. And again. The room finally came into view. He was in a hospital. Lying in bed. The curtain was pulled around his bed and Sebastian could hear the hustle and bustle of the hospital. Mile after mile Wheels turn so slow Will I ever get back home?

((OOC: Okay, so this post isn't really too good, but it's long! haha. Love the new formatting btw )) Cheyenne I've gone for too long living like I'm not alive So I'm going to start over tonight Beginning with you and I; - - - - - - - - - - - -
Chey franticly searched his cool face for any sign of response to her voice, and panic surged through her when there was none. Only then did she remember to check his heart beat, which was beating faintly to a false sleep. Everyone in her body was shaking but she knew she had to do something; now. She reached to her pocket. Great, today would have to be the day she forgot her cell phone. Propelled by fear and perhaps panic, she forced her throbbing head to focus. Reluctantly leaving Sebastian's side, she got up and stumbled to where Shadow stood a few feet away, munching some grass that grew along the trail. Fumbling for his reins, she lead him quickly to where Sebastian still lay unconscious. She knew every second mattered, so she quickly dropped to his side again and slipped her head under his arm, wrapping her own arms around him to support his limp body. She staggered under the weight, but somehow managed to stand up straight and drag herself to Shadow's panicking side. "Oh please stand still Shadow" She pleaded, out of breath.
She didn't remember many details after that, but somehow Chey managed to get him onto the gelding's back, laying across his withers. She would have to send someone later to find the mare. Panting, out of breath, and exhausted, pure adrenalin gave her the strength to pull herself onto his back as well, grab the reins, and with one last kick, they were off. 15 terrifying minutes later, Chey trotted into the stable yard and toppled off Shadow. Everything after that, the ambulance, the paramedics, everything was a blur. She remembered vaguely people trying to calm her as she cried uncontrollably, and later someone told her she was calling his name over and over again. The only thing she remembered was climbing into the ambulance with him, refusing to stay behind. Before she knew it, she was sitting in the busy hospital, sitting next to his bed and stroking his hand.
- - - - - - - - - - When this memory fades I'm gonna make sure it's replaced with chances taken, hope embraced; I hope I told you - - - - - - - - - - -
He'd wake up; she was sure of that. The constant beep of the heart monitor was a comfort to her. She forced herself to stay awake, despite the lure of sleep that was calling her, making her drift in and out of reality. She felt his warm hand in hers as they lay there under the twilight sky. It didn't matter that the truck had run out of gas, that they were stranded, so to speak. as long as they had each other. Nothing mattered at that moment. They'd stay there all night in each others arms if they had to. Chey smiled, turning her head to look at him. "I love you" she whispered, then came the glorious moment where their lips met... but something stopped her, something on the edge of her conscious called her. 'Chey. Chey.' It was his voice. She snapped back just in time to see him stirring slightly. She sat up quickly. "Sebastian" relief washed through her, and it showed easily in her voice and eyes as she grabbed his hand gently. "I'm right here, can you hear me?"
She reached out with a shaky hand and gently brushed a piece of hair from his bandaged forehead, giving him a weak smile through the mist of tears there were forming in her eyes. "Don't do that to me again" she whispered weakly with a sigh, sitting down tiredly in the chair that was pulled up right next to the bed. "I'm so sorry Sebastian" She cried again quietly, her voice a little hoarse. A few hot tears fell from her eyes and she leaned her head on his chest tenderly. "I'm so sorry" She breathed, closing her heavy eyes and breathing deeply, trying to continue. "You fell and hit your head" she said simply, trying to remember everything the doctor had said. "They say you have a concussion, and some head trauma" She added, replaying what Dr. Adam's had said. "But you're going to be okay" She said, more to herself than to him. "You're going to be okay" She breathed again, giving into the shallow sleep that lay in wait as she closed her eyes.

Sebastian And I'll be begging you, baby Beg you not to leave But I'll be left here waiting With my Heart on my sleeve Sebastian’s head whipped around to see Chey. His body slowly came back into feeling and all he could feel was his hand in hers and his head pounding. He groaned as he turned to face her. He was in pain Yeah… Yeah babe. I can hear you he said, a weak smile played out on his lip. Don’t do that to me again [/s] Sebastian furrowed his brow… Do what? Ohhh Sebastian finally remembered his foolish stunt earlier. Oh fuck…. Sorry Chey. I’m so so sorry he said at the exact same time she apologized to him. He chuckled half heartedly but winced as he shifted slightly. Damn, What did I do? he asked, Chey answered him sounding very frightened. You fell and hit your head. They say you have a concussion, and some head trauma [/s] Sebastian raised his eyebrows. And you stayed with me? You stayed he said softly. At that moment the doctor entered. The man smiled warmly You’re awake he stated walking to the side of the bed. It appears that way doesn’t it Sebastian joked, weakly. The man chuckled softly and began to check Seb’s head bandage. Well, your injuries are pretty superficial, you could be ready to leave as early as tomorrow morning Doctor…. Sebastian searched for a name tag…. Roberts… Doctor Roberts informed them. Sebastian groaned. He hated hospitals. Doctor Roberts nodded to Chey and exited the small curtained off area. Sebastian turned his attention back to Chey. Thank you Chey. he said quietly, his hazel eyes seeking hers. He lifted her hand to his lip weakly. You don’t have to stay he said, his voice quiet, he bit his bottom lip to stop it from trembling. He remembered what she’d said earlier. I’ve met someone his fingers tightened around hers subconsciously. He closed his eyes for a few seconds. Just remember. I love you. I’ve always loved you he said weakly. He offered her a small smile, secretly hoping she come over and kiss these trembling lips. [/blockquote] Oh, for the next time we'll be here Seems like a million years And I think I'm dying
What do I have to do to make you see He can't love you like me Its a little short.....

Cheyenne All that I am, all that I ever was is here in your perfect eyes; they're all I can see - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Chey opened her eyes as he spoke, straining to hear through the haze of sleep that taunted her. "You stayed with me? You stayed" she heard him say, and she forced a faint smile, her brow knitting together slightly. Did he think she would have left? "Of course I stayed" She answered quietly, rubbing her thumb over his hand tenderly as the doctor came in and began to speak. She listened carefully, soaking in each word he said with worried eyes.
'Well, your injuries are pretty superficial, you could be ready to leave as early as tomorrow morning' She heard him say. She sighed, relieved by the easy-going nature of the doctor; making it much less frightening. "Thanks Doctor" She said, giving him a tired smile as he nodded and left.
She quickly shifted glances as Sebastian began to speak again. "Thank you Chey" She smiled softly, meeting his eyes. She watched them subtly change, and she wondered what he was thinking as his grip on her hand tightened ever so slightly. "You don't have to stay" He said, his lip trembling with emotion. Yet another tear fell from her eyes before she blinked them away.
"I know" she answered simply. "But I'm not going anywhere" She added quietly. She was stubborn, and there was no way she was going to leave him like this. "Just remember. I love you. I’ve always loved you" She heard him say quietly. She smiled weakly through the tears, and leaned over to lightly brush her lips over his forehead. "I love you too" She breathed, and she meant it. Chey squeezed his hand slightly and gave him a long look before leaning back in her chair and resting her eyes with a sigh; his warm hand still wrapped with hers.

Sebastian Drive me home Sitting back there crying her love is quickly dying So turn around…. I know [/s] Chey said, Sebastian’s face fell. She was going to leave? But I’m not going anywhere[/s] she finished. Sebastian almost sighed in relief. He nodded and the corner of his mouth raised in a lopsided smile. Thanks he said simply. He sighed softly Man I hate hospitals he moaned leaning back in his bed, his hand still gripping Chey’s ever so lightly. He blinked slowly, She’s staying… he thought to himself, a smile crept back onto his lips before she spoke again. I love you too she said softly. Sebastian looked over at her again. His smile gradually getting wider. She kissed his forehead lovingly. He was at a loss for words. She loves me was all that kept running through his head She loves me…. Sebastian watched Chey lean back in her chair and shut her eyes. All of a sudden his fatigue hit him, like a brick wall. His eyelids were heavy He took a while to get comfortable, his shoulder was killing him. Sebastian closed his eyes and in no time was drifting to sleep. Sebastian gasped as he was back in the old sedan. He was banging on the window Chey! I love you! he called out. Sebastian was over joyed to find the car slowly rifting to a stop. He beamed and jumped out of the door, slamming it shut. Chey. he murmured quietly, before taking off at a full sprint towards her. She ran towards him too. The lovers met and Sebastian embraced her roughly. He pulled her close and buried his head in her soft brown hair. I love you she whispered familiarly. Sebastian smiled I love you too Their lips locked passionately, hungrily….Suddenly Sebastian was jolted awake. He looked around and found Chey, still peacefully resting. He smiled and closed his eyes again.[/blockquote] Pride will take us way too far End up leavin our heart broken and empty So before this thing speeds out of control Drive me home….

((OOC: crappy crappy post, sorry xD)) Cheyenne && if I could turn back time; - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
"Man I hate hospitals" She smiled to herself as he spoke. She knew what he meant. Her expression darkened slightly as she thought of being in the ER after the car accident; the last time she ever saw her mother alive. She shivered involuntary. She hated hospitals too. She quickly shook it off. "You should probably get some rest" She stated a bit more seriously before closing her eyes again. She listened as he rustled slightly, and then there was nothing except for the busy sounds of the hospital drifting through the pulled curtain. She peeked her eye open once last time to study his calm features as he slept. She smiled and closed her eyes again. Her mind wondered as she drifted off as well, as if often did against her will, forcing her to relive all her worst nightmares; despite all her attempts to think of better things.
There she stood again, in the middle of the street, her voice hoarse from crying his name over and over. She felt the hot tears streaking down her face again, and the terrible feeling in the pit of her stomach as it all sunk in. He was leaving. His car was rolling away, disappearing down the dusty road in front of her. She began to run, her legs pumping faster and faster as she tried to run after him, but she couldn't run fast enough. "Sebasitan, wait! Please! Sebastian, I love you!" She heard herself scream, falling to her knees and sobbing, her tears falling to the dirt road. "Please don't go. Stay with me" She whispered the familiar words, watching him slip away, driving farther and farther away...
Chey awoke with a start, glancing around to find Sebastian still sleeping. She sighed. The images of that day were still burned in her memory. Could she trust him after he had done that to her? But more importantly, if she did decide to take him back, could she really do that to Parker? After all, they were dating. How would he feel if he found that she had just up and left him for some other guy she'd never mentioned before? She couldn't do that to Parker; she couldn't put him through what she had gone through. But would she be able to live with the fact that she'd hurt Sebastian? She shook her head as if to shake her thoughts. She would have to wait to tell him anything until he was out of the hospital.

Sebastian Something I've been keeping locked away behind my lips I can feel it breaking free with each and every kiss I couldn't bear to hurt you but it's all so different now Things that I was sure of, they have filled me up with doubt His hazel eyes fluttered open their gaze imeadiatly locked on Chey. He smiled softly in a way that would make anyone say “Awwwe” Yeah he was adorable, Yeah he used it to his advantage. The young man suddenly sensed something. Chey? Are you alright? he asked his beautiful eyes showing concern. Her hand was still in his, he noticed thoughtfully. He smiled and gave her tiny fingers a slight squeeze. Thanks again he said softly. For staying with me…. For- saying you love me… He finished the sentence in his head.
Sebastian suddenly thought of his wallet. He reached beside the bed with his other hand and delved inside it. His fingers found a tiny metal object. Her ring. The diamond wasn’t huge, but it was all the young Sebastian could afford before he caught his big break. The fool had waited too long to use it. He’d been so afraid… But why did a twenty-one year old buy a ring in the first place? Because he loved her damn it. And he always did. Sebastian slipped his hand out of the wallet reminiscing the two long years he and the lonely ring spent in the big house. He’d wanted rid of it so many times, throwing it out hoping to rid himself of the memories. When he found the memories were plain as day with or without the stupid ring he’d always go looking for it. Sebastian nearly chuckled as he thought about the day when the plumber came to a bachelor’s pad to remove an engagement ring from the drain pipe.
Sebastian shook himself of these thoughts and turned back to Chey. Who knew itf he’d ever get a second chance? Who knew if he’d ever slide that beautiful ring over her elegant finger. Who knew if He’d ever, ever be happy again. Chey knew but he wasn’t sure if she’d fully made up her mind. Sebastian made a silent decision. He’d show her he was the one for her, he’d show her… How am I supposed to feel about the things I've done? I don't know if I should stay or turn around and run I know that I hurt you, things will never be the same The only love I ever knew, I threw it all away

((sorry, this isn't a very good post on my part xD I've got like no focus right now so it might be a little 'everywhere')) Cheyenne the worst is over now and we can breathe again I want to hold you high, you steal my pain away; - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Chey couldn't help but smile in response to his expression. He had always been able to cheer Chey up, even now... Her thoughts wondered back to 'the good old days' for a bit longer before his voice broke into her thoughts again. "Chey? Are you alright?" He asked. Chey was a little surprised. He could tell she was still struggling with something? Her small smile faded and a new wave of emotion overtook her. "I don't know" She choked, looking down and blinking back the hot tears that were forming in her hazel optics again. Did she really have any more tears to shed? She looked back up at him, trying her best to control herself. "I just still can't believe you're here". It was the truth, but only part of it. She looked down at her reaining hand, realizing now that she was still holding his hand. She would have pulled away, but she couldn't bring herself to do it. Everything felt so wrong, yet so right.

She looked up again as he spoke. "Thanks again. For staying with me... For-" She squeezed his hand, a smile flickering back into her expression. No words were exchanged, but none needed to be, and Chey was glad for that. Another one of his smooth words might have been the death of her. It killed her to imagine walking away from him after all this. She closed her eyes as if to block out the thought. She found herself shaking again, and it took all her strength to remain composed. There was something about Sebastian that brought out her 17 year old alter ego, making all she had done to hide her emotions over these two years instantly fade. She wanted badly to curl up next to him and just have her hold her; but she knew that would be ridiculous. Chey sighed, wondering if this was as hard for him as it was for her. Had he thought about her like she had thought about him?

Then something dawned on her. Even after she had met Parker, Sebastian was still always in the back of mind. Did she really love him that much, after everything he had done to her? She bit her lip and leaned forward to rest her spinning head on his chest, careful not to put pressure on his shoulder. "I don't feel well" She stated quietly, feeling very much like a child confessing to her mother. She sighed, just enjoying being close to him. How long would this last before she would have to rip herself away from him and come back to reality? What if she could stay this way forever, and never have to leave? Chey knew it wasn't that simple, but that didn't stop her from thinking it. Her mind was tired right now, and that meant that she couldn't stop herself. She closed her eyes and breathed deep, letting herself give into the thoughts that prodded at her mind. What if...
