Sebastian;; Why am I here?
Sebastian trudged towards the barn. He knew what awaited him insdie. CHey, a mixture of beauty, intelligence and power. The girl had it all. Sebastian had "had it all" once... He kicked a ston across the cobblestone path. Why was he here? She probably didn't even want him teaching here. But she had agreed to meet him here to discuss a potential position as instructor.
The familiar sounds and smells of a barn surrounded him as he entered the stable. Horses snorted to him and he smiled, petting the chestnut on the velvet nose. Sebastian bit his lip as he awaited Chey. He fell into a bit of a daze, reminicing the days when they were so deep in love.
Her melodious laugh rang out, Sebastian chuckled and ushed her again. Chey trancended higher on the tire swing, suspened from a tree outside the barn. Her brown hair flew out behind her as she flew towards Sebastian. Seb caught the swing and stopped it in it's tracks. A brief moment passed where the young lovers stared into each other's eyes, before their lips connected and the fireworks flew.

((OOC: lol, sorry mine's a bit dramatic ))
Cheyenne The notes are old, they bend they fold, and so do I to a new love - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Who did he think he was, calling her out of the blue and asking for a job? Of course, she couldn't say no. Pinewood needed first rate instructors, and she couldn't deny that he was one. Olympic-grade she reminded herself almost bitterly. Chey ran her fingers through her hair after checking the clock. He would be here any minute, and she was still in shock. She used to love him so much, and he had broken her heart. She looked out the window, thinking back on what it was like before he had left her to train for the Olympics. She sighed. Yes, she had loved him.
She felt a pang of grief, remembering what he had said to her before he left. It had been two years, and she was still getting over it. Wasn't it selfish of him to call up just when she was learning to trust again? Chey took a deep breath, trying to forget how much she had loved him. That was over, right? He had left her, and that was that. Did he even care? Was it all a lie? She stood up and paced the room, trying not only to clear her mind, but to forget about how much he had hurt her. She used to be so strong, so confident. She shook her head, a lump forming in her throat. What had he done to her?
- - - - - - - - - - - Did you think that I would cry on the phone? do you know what if feels like being alone? I'll find someone new - - - - - - - - - - -
Her head snapped up as she heard a vehicle pull up. She knew it must be him. The one that had thrown her world upside down. The only one she had ever truly loved. She closed her eyes tight, trying to concentrate on breathing. That was two years ago she told herself over and over again. He was here for business, and she needed to be professional. Taking another deep, ragged breath, she straightened up and walked over to the office door. Her hand lingered over the doorknob for what seemed like a full minute before grasping it and pulling it open. The ringing of the small bells attached to door seemed like they were miles away as she walked through the door and into the stable hall, bracing herself as best she could for what awaited her...
She felt her legs go weak as she saw him standing there, almost like a dream... or a nightmare. A ghost of her past. It was harder than she had though; to see him again. She struggled for a breath. She could hardly believe that he was here, so close to her. The blood hammered in her ears, and she saw again the scene of his good-bye in her head. She watched again as his car shrank away in the distance, leaving her standing alone and crying. She gulped, trying to compose herself again. She tried to walk forward, but her legs wouldn't let her. He hadn't changed much since the last time she saw him. His hazel eyes seemed to pierce her heart, opening the wound that he had left behind. She opened her mouth to speak, but once again she couldn't find her voice. So there she stood, frozen in shock despite all that she had done to brace herself... she had a feeling this wouldn't be the last painful meeting she had to endure.
- - - - - - - - - - - - swing swing swing from the tangles of, my heart is crushed by a former love can you help me find a way to carry on again? - - - - - - - - - - - -

Sebastian;; So close and yet so far.....
The creak of a door awoke him from his dreaming state and Sebastian's head snapped around to face the source of the noise. Chey. Sebatian stood there, dumb founded, the very same look was upon his strong features, as the day he left, looking in the rear view mirror. Sebastian blinked twice amd shook his head, his dirty blond hair mussing a bit. He cleared his throat, to the best of his ability and spoke; Chey- Cheyenne he corrected himself.
Now if this had been a movie... or if Sebastian wasn't so damn proud of himself he run up and kiss her there and then. The same passion and intensity that had been building over the last two years. He took a deep breath and stepped towards her. Once he was closer Sebastian got a better look at Chey. She had matured since he'd seen her last, she was still short, an entire eight inches shorter than Sebastian. Her eyes were a hazel color just like his own. Sebastian was sure she had filled out more and it seemed as though the girl he'd left behind had been replaced by a woman.
Again Seb cleared his throat. The facility is very nice Sebastian told her. No, it was not anything like the equestrian center he'd lived at before. Notice he didn't call it home. Sebastian hadn't had a real home in two years. The sudden urge to light a cigerette overwhelmed him and his jaw clenched. Where to? he asked her. Not quite sure where their meeting was to take place.

Cheyenne your face it haunts my once pleasant dreams; your voice it chased away all the sanity in me... - - - - - - - - - - -
Chey winced as he said her full name. His voice sounded a bit distant, but it was still enough to fill her mind with painful memories. She blinked, trying to look down, but her eyes were locked in his piercing gaze. He took a step forward, and Chey felt the compelling urge to run; either away or towards him, she was not sure. She stood deadly still, soaking in his features. She couldn't move. After he left, she had tried in vain for years to forget his voice, his face; but it was still burned in her memory. He looked a bit older than she remembered. The twinkle that his eyes once held was gone, and instead filled with an unreadable expression. Chey thought maybe it was pain, or guilt, but she quickly dismissed the thought. Her memory really didn't do him justice...
She took a deep, inaudible breath. "Sebastian" She replied, gaining enough mobility to nod her head in something that resembled a greeting. She had avoided saying his name out loud for two years, and even now it didn't come without difficulty. She tried to regard him with careful coolness, but she knew deep down that he wouldn't buy it. The pure emotion in her voice gave it away and she didn't even buy it herself. She tried to clear the lump that was forming in her throat, but it sounded more like she was choking. 'You're being ridiculous Chey, get a hold of yourself!' she scolded in her head, struggling to regain her composure. Straightening herself, she realized that he had spoken again, and she nodded at his comment of the stable. She didn't trust herself to speak again just yet, and it really didn't need an reply.
If someone hadn't know him close before, they wouldn't have seen it, but Chey didn't miss it. A small, subtle flinch in his jaw. Chey knew what it meant; he was struggling with something. She disregarded it quickly, almost hating herself for being able to spot it. Was she really still that attuned to him? She snapped back from her thoughts again as he spoke in a question. She had to be professional now. "Right this way" She said, finally finding her voice again. She motioned towards the office and forced herself to turn from him and walk in; her legs were still weak she noticed. Finally reaching the office chair, she sat down as gracefully as possible, but it was really more of collapsing into it. She still felt a little dizzy. Her mouth was dry, but she swallowed and waited for him to be seated. This was not going to be easy...
- - - - - - - - - - - these wounds won't seem to heal, this pain is just too real; there's just to much that time cannot erase... - - - - - - - - - - -

Sebastian;; That voice... Takes me back.....
Sebastain finally heard her speak, to his suprise it was the same beautiful tones he'd heard two years four months and sixteen days earlier. It was beautiful... He finally realized that is was his name spoken. Sebastian could tell she was nervous. Chey had a "deer in the headlights" look as he spoke again, but she did not emit a reply, mind you, Sebastian would not know the first thing to do with a reply....
She finally answered him and Sebastian saw her gulp Right this way This was professional Chey talking here. Sebastian felt the urge to let a smile creep across his hard looking features. Professional Chey... he thought whimsically to himself. Now the real Sbeastian would've chuckled right there. But this was Sebastian's professional side. To be honest it seemed as though he'd perfected it more than she... she was still nineteen..... she wouldn't be twenty until august... august 14th. Sebastian could've kicked himself right there. He remembered her birthday? Fuck, you're totally done for now buddy.... I bet she even has a boyfriend he said to himself. A boyfriend---Sebastian's jaw clenched again, this time followed by his fists. He was very protective, and even more competitive.
Sebastian followed Chey-Cheyenne to what seemed to be her office. Once Seb got there he knew it was her office. It had Chey written all over it. Pictures were tacked or taped to the wall, where in Seb's office they were neatly framed and hung straight. There were papers and files covering the desk, Sebastian's office had filing cabinets stacked up to the cieling, perfectly organized in alphabetical order. There were also ribbons all over the office, and trophies? Cheyenne had done well since he'd been gone.... In material possesions that its. What about her heart? How was that doing these days?
ooc: Sorry about the powerplaying... (her birthday, her office) i can change it if you want.....

((OOC: no, no, it's fine ^^ that's exactly how Chey's office would be ))
Cheyenne been far away for far too long... - - - - - - - - - - -
She watched him intently as his hazel eyes surveyed her small, cluttered, office. There was something in his face the intrigued her, and she wanted desperately to know what he was thinking. She couldn't bare to look at him any longer, yet she couldn't pull her eyes away. She sat up as straight as possible, attempting to hide her tenseness behind her authority. It was a sad attempt, but hopefully he bought it. She clasped her hands together in her lap to stop the shaking, then began the interview.
"As you know, Pinewood is in need a top-rate instructors, and I believe you fit the bill" She said, just as she had rehearsed. She was careful not to let he voice break or falter, as it might show her weakness. If you knew her however, you would hear the contempt in her tone as she said first-rate. After all, wasn't that why he had left her? Didn't he choose his career over her? A surge of both hatred and grief pumped through her veins, and she clasped her hands tighter as she continued, complete unattached to what she was saying.
"I've received you application and upon looking it over, have come to the conclusion that you are more than capable of assuming this position immediately. Are you still interested?" She asked. It was too professional, she knew that well... but she found that the more professional she sounded, the less her mind wandered to more painful things.
She watched him carefully, trying to read his expression. Surprisingly, she wanted badly to know how he had been; but more importantly: had he missed her at all? She dismissed the thought quickly. It hurt too much to think of it. She felt the threat that she was once again becoming too weak, so she quickly threw herself back into her authoritive role and waited for him to respond.

Sebastian;; Just talk to me baby, Till we ain't strangers anymore...
Seb sat in an uncomfortable chair, facing Cheyenne over the desk. She sat there, hands folded in her lap and Sebastian nearly smiled. She was so cute like a four year old playing dress up in her mom's closet. She began to speak and sebastian felt himself be suprised of the vocabulary she used. As you know, Pinewood is in need a top-rate instructors, and I believe you fit the bill Sebastian nodded in response. He listened to her voice almost crack when she said first rate. Sebastian took a deep breath, and she spoke again. I've received you application and upon looking it over, have come to the conclusion that you are more than capable of assuming this position immediately. Are you still interested?
Sebastian nodded Very interested he said cooly Just a few questions... Am I to use Pinewood Horses? Will the children be assigned their own horses? He asked Is their residence on the facility or do I have to reside else where? My horses? Is their room for them? Sebastian paused and thought about his next question carefully.... He looked Chey in the eye and spoke again And are you going to be this cold to me for the rest of my stay? he asked, in the exact same tone as the rest of the questions, except this time letting a small lopsided grin creep across his lips. His eyes twinkled warmly as he stared into her cold ones.
ooc: sorry its short...

((OOC: that's okay... eek, this is kinnda a bad post on my part xD sorry))
Cheyenne this time, this place; misused, mistakes; - - - - - - - - - - -
Chey nodded and listened carefully as he spoke again; savoring everything he said. She had forgotten how much she missed his smooth voice... She listened to his questions, putting together the answers in her head as he asked them. She opened her mouth to begin answering as he paused, but then snapped it close as he added the question she did not want to answer. She felt her limbs go numb again as it came out of his mouth
'Are you going to be this cold to me for the rest of my stay?' It hurt more than he probably intended it, leaving a pit in her stomach. Obviously he could tell she still held bitter feelings for him. But was it wrong on her part? Was she being selfish? I mean after all, he was the one who left her right? All of these questions swirled together in her head, along with his, and made her slightly dizzy. She didn't want to answer any of them...
She set her jaw, trying not to respond to the beautiful grin she used to love so much. His eyes twinkled into hers, and she felt like crying, much to her disbelief. She should have been mad; I mean, what did he expect? Two years with no phone calls, no contact, no apology... Chey shook her head. She looked back into his beautiful eyes and softened a bit. She had so much to tell him... "I'm sorry" She said simply, not answering his question. He should have been the one to apologize, but Chey didn't expect him to. She knew him too well; he had always been proud. She sighed audibly, looking away and staring out the window, trying hard to get away from his captivating gaze before she could blurt out anything more that was circulating in her tired mind. 'I missed you'
"Now to answer your other questions," She started slowly, trying to get her mind back on track. "Each rider that don't provide their own horse will be assigned a Pinewood horse, which I believe you will find are adequately trained in specifics disciplines. Pinewood does not offer living facilities, so you will have to live off grounds" She continued, her voice still soft "You will find two stalls ready for your horses, as well as locker space in the tack room. We will send you a list of your students and their riding abilities as soon as possible and you can turn in your lesson schedule as soon as you have one made-up. I hope you find this all to your liking..." She finished, letting out a small breath and looking down to study her hands uncomfortably as she waited for his response.

Sebastian;; Behind These Hazel Eyes
Sebastian watched as Chey comprehended his words. She looked stunned. Sebastian raised an eyebrow quizzically and his grin slowly faded. Cheyenne shook her head and Sebastian was confuzed was that an answer to his question or was it a shake of her thoughts, she always used to do that. Cheyenne blurted out the answers to his other questions in what seemed to be as professional as she could muster. Sebastian blinked twice Whoa he said dumbfoundedly.
He stood and gestured for Chey to follow Walk with me he said cooly, heading out the door. The pair walked in silence for a while. Sebastian wasn't sure where he was going but he wanted to go somewhere where Chey's students or his future students were no in earshot. Finally he stopped by a pasture fence and turned to look at Chey. He paused for a moment, they were close. So close he could count the barely visible freckles dusting her nose. So close he could see every color in her hazel eyes. So close he could....
Sebastian breathed deeply, the need for nicotine took over him again. This time, not being able to stand it he reached into the pocket of his jeans, revealing a single ciggarette and a lighter. He lit up and took a long drag on the cancer-stick, letting the smoke engulph his lungs. He closed his eyes for but a second before flicking the ash on the ground and turning to face Chey once again. Talk to me he said effortlessly. He seemed so cool and calm on the outside. No one.... not even Chey would know he was a nervous wreck behind those hazel eyes.

((OOC: lol, I think I kinnda stole your song ))
Cheyenne Seems like just yesterday, you were a part of me I used to stand so tall, I used to be so strong. - - - - - - - - - - -
She sat stunned for a moment as he asked her to walk with him. It was the last thing she wanted to do. Being so close to his easy-going and persuasive nature could only make her say things that would show her weakness; forcing her from her make-belief self-control. She was sure he knew that, but she couldn't say no. She got up numbly and followed him out the door. She walked slowly and silently, and the only sound heard was their light footsteps through the dense haze of late afternoon. She stopped when they reached the pasture gate, leaning next to him and trying to be casual. But inside, she felt herself falling apart; so close to him. She felt her throat tighten, trying not to look at him and she studied a tuff of grass near her booted foot.
- - - - - - - - - - - - Your arms around me tight, everything it felt so right; unbreakable, like nothing could go wrong. Now I can't breathe, no I can't sleep, I'm barely hanging on... - - - - - - - - - - -
She wrinkled her nose in disgust as her brought out a cigarette and lit it, letting a puff of strong smelling smoke out. 'Since when do you smoke?' she felt like asking, but she kept it to herself as he spoke again. She felt her throat tighten again. What was she supposed to say? She stood there for a while, taking in his features. She wanted to scoot away; it was dangerous being this close... but she stayed where she was at, trying to remember how to breath. "What do you want me to say?" She asked coolly with a small shrug of her shoulders. Her voice was quiet, her words unsure. "Two years and you just call me out of the blue... I mean-" She took a deep breath and shook her head, searching for the right words. It was difficult to concentrate when he was so close.
- - - - - - - - - - - Here I am, once again, I'm torn into pieces here tonight, can't pretend; just thought you were the one broken up deep inside, but you won't get to see the tears I cry behind these hazel eyes - - - - - - - - - - -
"It's a little hard for me, okay?" She asked, frustrated. She wondered how he could be so calm. She took a deep breath and words flew from her again, finally finding their way out of the tangled wreck of her mind. Anger surged through her suddenly. "I mean, you never called, you never even let me know that you were okay! For all I knew, you could have been dead!" She shuttered, and tears threatened to ruin her masquerade again. She blinked, looking into his eyes with anger, her voice faltering as she continued"So what do you want me to say? I'm sorry? Well maybe I didn't give you all that your job did, but I loved-" She caught herself, bitting her lip. She wanted to run now; she had said too much, but her legs wouldn't let her.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - I told you everything, opened up and let you in; you made me feel alright for once in my life. Now all that's left of me is what I pretend to be, sewed together but so broken up inside. - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Her heart beat three times faster than normal, and her shoulders began to shake. Tears blurred her vision now, and she had to lean on the fence heavily to keep from collapsing. Two years of anger and grief took over now and questions flew through her mind. Why did he have to be so cool about everything? Didn't he know he had hurt her? Why did he have to show up now, when things were going so great? A sob emitted from her chest, and she struggled to keep the angry tears from falling. Did he really have that much power over her? She hated being weak, especially in front of him. She took a deep ragged breath, determined not to let the tears cry, even though she was still shaking uncontrollably. So much for being casual...
- - - - - - - - - - - - - Swallow me, then spit me out; for hating you I blame myself. Seeing you, it kills me now. No I don't cry on the outside anymore... - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Sebastian;; There's a big pot of gold at the top of the ladder, but you can't buy back moments that matter.
Sebastian listened to her speak. At first her tones were almost was calm and collected as Sebastian's. But soon Cheyenne's voice cracked and Sebastian could see the hot tears burning in her eyes. Something inside him switched, he felt the need to hold her, to dry her tears and tell her the truth, he missed her... he loved her.
Chey collapsed against the fence and Sebastian instictively shot forward. Before he knew what he was doing she was in his arm. God... Chey... he said softly, his voice free from the arrogant, icy tones from before. His eyes closed for a second, taking in the moment and preparing himself for the speech to come.
He exhaled deeply Hey, hey he whispered, soothing her sobbing. I used to think I was a big shot.... Thought i had it all, but guess what? he started Material possesions, fame, money in the end it all ads up to nothing. Because you know what? he said tipping her chin up towards him. You can't buy back those moments that matter He finished, bottom lip quivering.
A rough finger wiped a tear from her cheek and he spoke again I could get a job at any facility in the fuckin country Chey... I'm here for you.... I-I His voice cracked and he couldn't speak, he cursed something under his breath. He held the back of her head almost agressively, but tenderly at the same time. Damn it Girl, I love you he whispered softly, before his lips came crashing down on hers. The kiss lasted but a second but it let loose two years of guilt, anger, misery, heat, passion and love.

((OOC: Grrr... this post isn't very good xD sorry)) Cheyenne Now the story's played out like this, just like a paperback novel - - - - - - - - - - -
Chey flinched as she felt his arms around her, but she soon she found herself leaning into his embrace. A few tears spilled from her eyes and slowly ran down her cheek. At that moment she knew; he wasn't faking anything anymore. His arrogant tone was gone, and his voice was gentle, barely over a whisper, as he soothed her sobs. His hand gently tipped her chin towards his face, making her look at him. She could see the emotion in his usually cool face as he composed his words. "I used to think I was a big shot.... Thought I had it all, but guess what? Material possessions, fame, money in the end it all adds up to nothing. Because you know what? You can't buy back those moments that matter" She comprehended it slowly, and she knew he meant what he said as she studied his eyes and quivering lip.
She wanted to say something, to tell him everything. His finger brushed her cheek, wiping away her tears just like he used to do every time she cried. Her eyes flicked close for but a moment, remembering it all. She opened her eyes again, and she was closer to his face than she had thought she was "I'm here for you..." He was saying. "I-I" A lump tightened her throat again as he struggled for words. She felt his hand on the back of her head as he whispered "Damm it girl, I love you' His words echoed in her mind as his lips pressed against hers.
Her heart stopped and her legs went weak for the tenth time. The shock only lasted a fraction of a second before she closed her eyes and gave into it. Something in the back of her mind told her it was wrong, she had to be strong What about Parker? But everything faded in that wonderful moment where she felt like she was going back in time, where feeling him next to her was the best thing in the world. She wrapped her arms around him instinctively and kissed him back, leaning into it tenderly. Pulling away, her lips lingered a moment before opening her eyes and taking her arms from his neck.
Suddenly she came back to reality, pulling away from him gently and looking down. She didn't dare look at his face. "I-" She began, but stopped. She couldn't ruin this moment, she would have to tell him later. 'I can't do this' She wanted to say, but instead turned to him and whispered what she really felt "I missed you". She felt a sob rise in her throat again. Oh how she missed him. "Sebastian, I missed you" She whispered again, slowly leaning back up against him and closing her eyes. 'I can't do this, I can't do this' She kept saying to herself, but something kept her silent, soaking in the moment that she knew he needed as much as she did.

Sebastian;; I can go where I wanna go, be who I wanna be, dream what I wanna dream but Baby, You Still Own Me
Sebastian felt Cheyenne reluctantly melt into his kiss... yeah he had that affect on people. He smiled down at her warmly, unusual for him... at least in the last seven hundred days or so. Sebastian noticed Chey was struggling with something. He decided that she would tell him when she was ready. He rested his chin on her head and sighed happily.
The two stood there in warm embrace until Chey spoke again. Sebastian looked into her eyes contently and smiled softly when she finally finished her sentence.... well sentence fragment. Sebastian chuckled softly I missed you too Chey Sebastian whispered affectionatly. His arms tightened around her and pulled her closer. More than you know he muttered, adding to his previous statement.
Sebastian breathed deeply, Chey's scent surrounding him. It reminded him of better days, young and carefree the two spent hours and hours talking about nothing and everything, the past and the future.... Life was easy, Love was effortless and change was enevitable. Sebastian found himself kissing Chey's forehead tenderly, slowly, unconsciously moving down her cheek. Suddenly he felt something. Looking up he saw his worst nightmare there were two students, halters in hand ready to catch their horses for their upcoming lesson. The two girls blushed madly and Sebastian slowly let go of Chey. Damn it all.....

Cheyenne
The broken locks were a warning; you got inside my head. I tried my best to be guarded, I'm an open book instead. And I still see your reflection inside of my eyes that are looking for purpose. They're still looking for life. - - - - - - - - - - - - -
He pulled her close, and she sighed quietly. "I missed you too Chey" He whispered. "More than you know" He finished, more seriously. She eagerly moved closer to him enjoying his scent, his warmth. At that moment, all was well in the world, and the gaping hole in her chest was replaced. But on the inside, she struggled with her thoughts. It killed her inside to know that the closer she got to him, the more it would hurt to leave him. She knew she couldn't do this, but she also didn't know if she could leave him. Would she be able to deal with it if he weren't there? She didn't really want to find out. She clung tighter to him, fighting back the tears again. "Stay with me" She found herself whispering without thinking. Yes, he had complete power over her at the moment, and she knew it; but for some reason she didn't mind, as long as he was here.
- - - - - - - - - - I'm hanging on another day just to see what you will throw my way. And I'm hanging on to the words you say. You said that I will, will be okay. The broken lights on the freeway left me here alone. I may have lost my way now; but I haven't forgotten my way home - - - - - - - - - -
Chey closed her eyes as he kissed her forehead gently, slowly moving down her cheek and seeming to erase all her agonizing thoughts; how could he do that? It was just like two years had never happened, and there they stood in a beautiful moment. Suddenly he tensed, and Chey's eyes flew open, bringing her back to reality. Two younger students stood a ways off, watching the two with embarrassed awe. Chey's cheeks flushed ember and her mouth went dry as he gently pushed her away. She attempted a weak smile, before taking a shaky step forward. "I should probably go" She croaked quietly, studying the ground. She couldn't bare to look at his face, for what she had said had a deeper meaning. She couldn't do that again. She loved Parker too much to allow it again, although deep down she wished that she could turn back time. She wished that he had never left. She wished that things could be the way they were. She wished the scars were never inflicted. She wished that she could stay with him forever. But in the end, wishes are only wishes... right?
- - - - - - - - - - - I'm falling apart, I'm barely breathing. With a broken heart that's still beating. In the pain there is healing; in your name I find meaning. So I'm holding on; still holding on. I'm barely holding on to you. - - - - - - - - - - - -
She sighed, feeling her chest heave with the weight of it all. She felt so weak. She told herself that it would have been simpler if he had never showed up; but she knew she would never really believe that. 'I love him' She thought, startled. She blinked in shock, hoping that he couldn't read her thoughts. She bit her lip and turned around quickly, striding quickly past the two girls that were still standing there and towards the stable before she could do anything else that would give it away. Once in the safety of her office she collapsed into the seat and buried her head in her hands, breathing deeply and trying to focus. Another tear fell as she closed her eyes and savored the feeling of his lips on hers. She sighed in agony. What if the one who broke her heart was the only one who could put it back together?
