Sooo...basically, Austin is the new kid in town, and he's got almost nothing. So...he's open for almost everything. But before we get into that, you must know something about Austin...so here it be:
Austin Daniel Gaines is a young 20 year old from California. His horse, Vodka On The Rocks, is a thoroughbred that despises competing, which works perfectly for Austin because he refuses to wear the English riding outfit, meaning he can't compete, even though he is a pretty darn good rider. Basically he's the sort of guy who's not afraid to make himself look like a complete idiot for someone else's sake. He has been known to grab a complete stranger who he only knows by name who looks about ready to kill themselves and make them do something crazy with him just to make them laugh and have a better outlook on life. He looks like a jock sort of person, but he's terrible at all sports except equestrianism and is a complete geek.
His job is basically a professional hacker. He is hired by the government to hack security systems so they can be tested, and they can test their emergency response teams and all that good stuff. Basically, he gets to legally break the law. If it runs on a micro chip or an engine, he can fix it...in other words, cars, computers, cell phones, ipods, mp3 players, regular phones, boats, motorcycles...you name it, he can fix it. Nerdy yes, but that's what happens when you have no friends in middle school. So, he's got the looks, and the brains...awesome.
Anyway, Austin, as I said was from California, and to add a little drama, Alex lived in Cali for a summer, and the two of them dated. But then Alex had to leave California, and the two of them broke up on good terms, knowing a long distance relationship would never work. Now Austin and Vodka have moved here and they are both stuck in California's time zone, meaning that they are about 4 hours behind the rest of the people in Pinewood and are struggling to adjust.
Austin is adopted and really wants to find his real family, and there is a slight possibility that maybe Dasha's new dude is going to be his real brother or somethin and Austin will hack the police information thing and finds out who his family is and then he runs into Dasha's dude and is like "oh my gosh! you're him!" or somethin and then kablam...so yeah. That might happen.
So, as for what he needs. Right now I don't think I really want him to get involved romantically, but close friends can always possibly turn into girlfriends. So, he needs some very close buddies...maybe they meet by him fixing one of their electronic devices or he finds them looking glum and drags them off to do something retarded, or somethin like that...and maybe even some people who don't like him all that much too...but it's hard to dislike Austin, so yeah. Anywho, that's about it.
