Deep in the heart of rural West Virginia lies a modest little horse town where everyone knows everyone and there's never an off season. But there's more to this place than meets the eye. A small stable nestled on the outskirts of town is where our story begins. It has history and more is being written every day. What used to be a small little farm has grown into a budding stable. There's drama, competition, bonds, and break ups. It's all or nothing, and hardly anything is what it seems. This is your chance to make a name for yourself. Think you can handle it? Come join the family down at Pinewood Stables; where everyone is welcome, but only the best survive.

1.) Registered Name: Mrs. Sassafras Barn name: Sassy Breed: Appaloosa Color: Sorrel and white blanket Age: 10 years old Gender: Mare Height: 15.2 Hands [b]Rider: Beginner - Intermediate Personality: Sassy is well trained and obedient, but can act up at random times. She spooks quite easily, but is a champion show horse and really steals the ring. She is quite a character and likes to show off. She's especially competitive, but when you really get to know her, she's a fun horse and a great companion. Description: Sassy is well proportioned and about the right height for her breed. Her coat is a beautiful sorrel with white covering her rump, making her a blanket appaloosa. She has a pretty white blaze which offsets her rich brown colored coat. Her mane and tail are a mixture of brown and black. She has a well formed head and inquisitive ears. Short, strong legs, perfect for whipping around barrels. Sassy is a very well conditioned horse and is in great shape. Discipline: Western Riders: Eric Harper

2.) Registered Name: Chaz Barn name: Chaz Breed: Quarab Color: Grey Age: 17 years old Gender: Gelding Height: 15.3 Hands [b]Rider: Beginner Personality: Chaz is the definition of a sweetheart. He's laid back and mellow, although he can be lazy at times. He is well trained in Western, but he's a fast learner and has been introduced to some English basics. He's pretty much bombproof, which makes him a great trail horse. Although he's not much a speed demon, he has been know to break into a gallop every so often, but you have to push him. Chaz would do anything for a carrot and he loves attention. Perfect for a beginner who wants to learn to ride on a smart and easy horse. Description: Chaz is about average height with a light grey coat that can turn from an almost white to a dark grey. He is only 1/4 Arabian and the only thing that give that fact away is his slightly dished nose and high tail set. He also has a wonderful trot and flowing canter. Chaz is athletic when he wants to be, and is well conditioned with a muscular neck and hindquarters, characteristic to his Quarter horse roots. Discipline: Western, some English Riders:

3.) Registered Name: Patches Barn name: Patches Breed: American Paint Horse Color: Brown and white Age: 15 years old Gender: Mare Height: 15.1 Hands [b]Rider: Beginner Personality: Patches is a sweetheart really, although her mischievous attitude sometimes gets her into trouble. She's obedient for the most part and has been well trained, not to mention she's quite bombproof. She's very intelligent, but almost everything catches her curiosity which can be somewhat frustrating when it comes to serious practice time. But she's a quick learner and will do almost anything asked of her. Another great beginner horse; as long as the rider doesn't mind putting up with her silly antics. Patches loves jumping, as well as timed events, but like I said, she's extremely versatile and could pull off almost anything. All around, she's a fun horse and a great little stable-mate. Description: Patches is devilishly cute, with bright blue eyes and beautiful disposition. She's a little on the stocky side, and runs slightly shorter than the average height of her breed, but she makes up for it in athleticism. Her powerful hindquarters can launch her over almost any jump, and her legs are strong and sturdy, making her a great barrel horse. Her neck is well rounded and her back is sturdy and short. Her head is small and well shaped, topped off with perfectly perked ears. Patches coat, as her name and breed suggests, is beautifully colored with brown and white patches. Her mane and tail are long and full with an even mix of white and brown strands. She truly is a cutie... Discipline: Western and English Riders:

Registered Name: Rose's Promise Barn name: Promise Breed: Thoroughbred Color: Roan Age: 9 years old Gender: Gelding Height: 16.2 Hands Rider: Intermediate - Advanced Personality: Promise is well trained in Western and English. He’s very talented and excels in both disciplines. He tends to act up when bored, but can easily be corrected with a tap on the rump. He is diligent with his work and is a very loyal companion. He loves attention, but has a hard time retuning it sometimes. Promise enjoys jumping and is very competitive. He's a champion show horse, like a lot of Pinewood's horses, and has plenty of ribbons to show for it. His career is very promising... get it? Anyway, he's a great horse, and extremely intelligent. You can teach him something one week, and he'll have it down the next. His amount of consentration in the ring is amazing, and his composition is stunning. He sure knows how to strut his stuff... Description: Promise is an all around stunning horse really. His coat is a beautiful roan with his face a dark grey. His mane and tail are full and colored a dark grey, almost black. His composition is lean and well conditioned and he carries himself wonderfully. His gaits are even and flowing, and his neck and head are beautiful. And of course we can't forget his strong legs, short back, and muscular hindquarters, which are characteristic to his breed. All in all, he's a very capable and athletic horse. 7.) - NEW ADDITION Registered Name: Cat Fancy Barn name: Fancy Breed: American Quarter Horse Color: Black Age: 7 years old Gender: Mare Height: 16 Hands [b]Rider: Intermediate - Advanced Personality: Fancy is a real sweet mare who sadly has a rough past. She was abused as a youngster before being rescued by the humane society at age 5 and put up for adoption. Her new found owners trained her in western, but did a poor job and caused her to buck and rear. They sold her to a slaughter auction where we bought her for $100.00. We've trained her under a western saddle for two month and she is now ready for a dedicated rider. She really does have a sweet personality, but would be best suited for an intermediate to advanced rider who is willing to stick to a schedule of working with her at least twice a day and who has owned a horse in the past. Best case scenario would be someone who can learn a little with her and understand where she’s coming from. Description: Fancy is a black American Quarter Horse mare with a small white star on her forehead. Her mane and tail are all black and she has a wonderful disposition. Her eyes are a deep chocolate brown which makes her hard to turn down. She has strong legs which would be perfect for anything from tail riding to barrels. Discipline: Western Riders: Logan Harding

8.) - NEW ADDITION Registered Name: Foxy Lady Barn name: Lady Breed: American Paint Horse Color: Sorrel and white Age: 5 years old Gender: Mare Height: 15.8 Hands Rider: Intermediate - Advanced Personality: Lady can be a difficult horse to handle. She is not a mean horse or aggressive, but she can get very high strung and peppy. She has a mind of her own, and if she doesn't want to do something then there is a slim chance to get Lady to respond without her having a huge fit. Her past owners sent her to a nearby local auction as they couldn't sell her, where Pinewood Stables bought her. Starting to be retrained she has also been kept away from stallions all her life, discovering them has made her life fun. Lady loves teasing them and is a big show off in front of them, but there is a bad side to this... Lady tends to get ticked off by them and will fight if she feels threatened. Description: Foxy Lady is a brown and white paint. She is mostly brown with white stockings that run up all four legs. Lady's hooves are an white cream color, darker then her white patches. She has a white diamond on her forelock that goes between her eyes. Her mane is a beautiful black and white color mixed together. Though, Lady's mane isn't very long, her tail is very long and full... She is full of herself! She is in good tone and in good condition, but she is a little skinnier then she should be since her last owners didn't take proper care for her, but should be back to health in no time. Discipline: Western Riders:
