Welcome

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Deep in the heart of rural West Virginia lies a modest little horse town where everyone knows everyone and there's never an off season. But there's more to this place than meets the eye. A small stable nestled on the outskirts of town is where our story begins. It has history and more is being written every day. What used to be a small little farm has grown into a budding stable. There's drama, competition, bonds, and break ups. It's all or nothing, and hardly anything is what it seems. This is your chance to make a name for yourself. Think you can handle it? Come join the family down at Pinewood Stables; where everyone is welcome, but only the best survive.

 ``as days go by.
« Thread Started on Jul 28, 2009, 3:18am »

day 28 of the month, july.

well my horses are finally settled in after a week or two cooped up in quarentine. . (god those safety reasons.) but now they are happily roaming the large pastures that pinewood has to offer. cash seems to have run into something again. he has a small gash on shoulder so im guessing he got it from chasing doll around and cut it to close to a tree. oh well. i globbed some medicine on it today then sent him out again. then the silly beast raced over to cool and tried to get him to play. cool was obviously not in the mood because he just snapped at poor cash then dashed to the far end of the pasture. i love my reiners. always messing with each other. causing some kind of mayhem. anyway. while my gourgous palomino mare did some tricks, she began to draw a small crowd. mostly stablehands but there were a few children there. they seemed to enjoy it. after we finished i gladly let the youngsters spoil doll with treats of every kind. they even started playing with her! they would ran as fast as their little legs could carry them, and she would trot behind them and blow on their hair or playfully squeel behind them. when they couldnt run anymore, they just petted, rubbed, scratched and patted the good old mare. you know, ive been thinking of breeding doll. well, maybe when she cant be ridden anymore or i retire her. but that wont be for years to come. shes still got that fire of a yearling in her. well i got to go now. i have dogs to care for and a house to unpack. bye
